Let's just go over what I posted yesterday: I voiced that I have no opinion on guns in America, because I don't live there and as such; don't care. I said that I, personally, am afraid of guns and think they're industrial killing machines. And I posed a vague, hypothetical question that could have been applied to any situation where an old law/doctrine is in effect.
That's it. Nothing more. Harshest word in there was "change" followed by a question mark. Not "ban", not "make guns illegal" and certainly not "outlaw free speech and trial by jury", which some people with a slightly looser grasp on reality seem to think go hand in hand with owning the firearms I said I don't care about.

What determines the price of art? What is art worth? Is it really worth anything? Why should people buy art?
First of all, the major point in all of this is that the price of art is completely subjective, meaning that its value is mainly determined by the person viewing it. The second part of the value of artwork is determined by the cost of materials, and the cost of the artist’s time, as well as how in demand their work is. Then there are different price scales for Fine Artists, Graphic Artists, Illustrators, Freelance Artists, Web Designers, etc. All of these factors add up to the price of artwork.
For my purposes, I will discuss Fine Art and Illustration, which is what I am most familiar with.

Crossbows were considered to be WMDs once...One of the elements of my writing is that I try to keep the science plausible and realistic where I can, without bogging down the story. Since I write a lot of military sci-fi, much of the research I do is in weapons and armour technologies. Most of the weapons in Dark Nova are either currently in use in a much more primitive form (Gauss weapons, a.k.a. "railguns", particle beam weapons, etc.) or are theoretically plausible with advances in technology (particle projection weapons, antimatter weaponry, plasma weapons, nanite weaponry, etc.) Researching these things has been.... interesting. First off, in my Brady Tactical Emergency Medicine manual (as a tactical medic, this is sort of our bible), there is a section on treating directed energy weapons. I'm INFJ; the F means that I'm a Feeler. Learning this recently has shed a great deal of light on the way that I approach and react to certain situations!
One of the big differences between Thinkers and Feelers is how they handle 'problems'... Even how they see them.
Feelers, generally speaking, tend to speak openly about their emotions, and to offer empathy and support to others who are doing the same. They "verbally process" information, and need to speak about it to 'get it off their chest'. They are not seeking 'solutions' when they do this, as 'venting' in itself is cathartic.
Thinkers, on the other hand, tend to see problems as puzzles to solve. They speak about their own when they want direct help, suggested solutions, and this is how they respond to others expressing their problems, too

I have a strong set of values that drive me, and which make me feel lonely, because I'm reluctant to befriend anyone who has a different set of values (because of what my own values are)...
