November 1996 - A Union Pacific freight train climbing Archer Hill outside Cheyeanne, WY, loses power in one of it's three diesel locomotives and the train stalls on the hill.
Steam Locomotive #844 is following close behind, returning from an excursion. Bob Kreiger, the engineer of 844, hears talk of the stalled freight and radios dispatch to offer his assistance . Now, the train dispatcher knew what was going on... but it wasn't until 844 was pushing that the engineer of the freight train realized his modern diesels were being nursed back to the yard by a 1944 BUILT STEAM ENGINE!
"On that crisp, clear, fall day, justice was served to boilermakers, pipefitters and just plain old steam-lovers the world over." - Kevin Michael Richardson - Narrator of "Trains Unlimited".
I needed something like this stamp for my ID and due to the fact there are not many railfan-stamps out there on DA, I decided to create one on my own. Took a engine nearly every railfan likes, german class 103. You're free to use this stamp around DA!
