Bron's perfect gift"I am an apprentice wizard, not a pack mule!!!" said Marcurio, angry, as his leader carelessly dropped just another embalming tool and two linen wraps in his bag – pretty much all that could be found in that desolated crypt, but why the hell did they need to take them all?!Bron's perfect gift2 years ago in Short Stories More Like This
Bron had heard it so many times that, practically immune to the sentence, he walked out with a satisfied smile and stretched in the sunlight, of course not even waiting for his follower to drag his sack full of garbage – pardon me, precious loot – out before mounting his horse, ready to head back to Riften.
"Why are we… nngh… taking all this… wait for me!" Marcurio was even more angry knowing that gems and gold were not too heavy for Bron, as he always stored them jealously on his own person.
Bron kept on riding, but not taking the straight route; he had accumulated an impressive amount of garb- loot, yet he still wasn't sure any of it would be of use in his next, very personal quest. Maybe raiding som

“Ha!” he exclaimed, as he poked his head under the table “Got yo-“ He stopped as he realized that the space was empty except for a few dust bunnies and what looked like a half eaten carrot.
Stumped, he leaned back and allowed the cloth to fall back into place. As he did, he faintly heard a soft patter of running feet from the next room. With a grin, he dashed into the adjacent living room and caught the end of a brown braid disappearing behind the sofa.
“Oh dear,” he said, ever so casually, as he crept closer to the sofa “I do wonder where she could be hiding.”
The only reply was a faint giggle from the mysterious braided creature that had slipped behind the couch. Rythian

Only a few eyes spotted the small figure wandering through the brush. A human child, only about six or seven years old, was lost in the woods. Her hair was an earthy brown and hung mostly down to her shoulders, apart from the bangs that framed her frightened face and fell into icy blue eyes. The girl’s feet were bare, muddy and scraped, and her blue jumper was ripped in several places.
“Papa!” Emily sniffed and wiped her eyes on a grubby forearm. What had started as a fun game of hide and seek with her toddler brother, Joakim, had turned into a terrifying trek through the acres of woods that surrounded her house. Angrily the

The answer, even now, isn’t as simple as a yes or no.
Rythian watches as she shifts again, covers tangled around her legs, prosthetic strewn at an unnatural angle up against the enclosure’s wall. She’s moved it again and again trying to find a comfortable spot for the foreign appendage. Even in her sleep her body could tell that something wasn’t quite right. The thought makes him sick.
Even now, nearly a month after the incident, he still can’t shake the image of her as she fell from the sky in a streak of cloth and blood… He thought she was dead. How couldn’t she be, after an explosion like that? How wasn’t she charred and blackened and broiled, torn to shreds and scattered across the landscape, obliterated beyond recognition? How wasn’t she dead?
He actually has to touch her to prove this wasn’t a dream.

He exhaled softly, an exasperated not-quite-sigh, but didn't push, and for that Mrrsizha was grateful. She hadn't told Brynjolf their destination for a reason: she didn't think he'd be very happy about it.
The Khajiit's ears perked as they rounded the cliff and she stopped short, holding up a hand. Brynjolf made a questioning sound, stopping just behind her. "Lass?"
"The lantern." Mrrsizha didn't carry a lantern--she didn't need one, even in the blackest of nights--but Brynjolf did, lacking her feline night-vision. The Second Time Around Rythian had thought that it would be easier the second time around. The Second Time Around1 year ago in Short Stories More Like This
When Zoey had first mentioned the idea of children, they had been walking together in the forest. The sun had been shining, slanting through the branches and sending shafts of yellow down through the canopy to dapple the ground in front of them. A breeze had been blowing softly and stirring the leaves, and white clouds had scudded across the azure sky like little boats in an ocean. Rythian had been totally at ease walking with Zoey at his side, enjoying listening to her chatter.
“… and I really like this area we’re walking in and wouldn’t it be nice to have a house here? Hey, Rythian! We should build a house here!”
The enderborn had nodded, liking the idea. Their desert home was beginning to wear on him; the days were hot, the nights freezing, and sand got in absolutely everything. It would be nice to put his boots on in the morning without having to shake out
Awoken Rythian had thought that he’d hit his lowest point when he and Zoey had been separated after he had yelled at her. The enderborn had paced the marble floors like a caged animal, slowly becoming more ghostlike with every passing day. He had been a plant without the sun, and the darkness had been made more sinister by the fact that he had known warmth and light. “ZOEY!!!!!!” his voice was breaking as he screamed out for her, his violet eyes searching frantically among the ruins of what had been their home. Heat washed off of the crater in waves, making the air thick and difficult to breathe in; ash and debris were falling like poison rain.
Tee was scouring the ground for any sign of the girl they both loved, though in different ways. The dinosaur’s thick scaly skin protected him from the worst of the

2196: The Year of the Historical Vid
By Joan Calder
MILGROM, BEKENSTIEN - 2196 will be the "Year of the Historical Vid," claims vid critic Roger Eberron of Milgrom Morning News. A dozen vids based on historical events will be released next year as studios across the galaxy rush to cash in on the tenth anniversary of the Battle of Earth.
The year kicks off with the action/drama vid "based on true events", Archangel: Omega Nights staring Anton Vilius as the mysterious vigilante that shook up the Omega underworld and managed to unify the station's worst merc bands against him. Michael Betchel of Miraflor Studios, confident of the new franchise, personally signed the Turian action star to a multi-vid contract for an as of yet unspecified amount. At least two other movies Archangel: Illum Dawn and Archangel: Citadel Days were filmed concurrently with Omega Nights to be rele

Rythian now severely regretted the way that he tended to give into Zoey’s every whim. The request had seemed odd at first, but then she had pleaded with him until he had given into the demand.

"And... there! All finished. This bloody staircase is done. Simon, how are you doning with the glass roof?" Xephos, also know as Lewis, and Simon, or Honeydew the Dwarf, had come back to the glorious Yogcave. Xephos doveaway, and Honeydew landed with a loun and audible crack. Simon backed away into a corner, and started eating a porkchop.
"Are you okay?" Xephos came in from the front door and walked over the Honeydew.

Then again, I never had to sleep in a hide tent in this location. The male soldiers are very boisterous and annoyingly coy with myself and the other women. They don't seem to listen to the Legate's orders and find themselves either dead or in precarious situations. I hope to see you soon!
I chuckled at her comment about Rikke having feelings for me. Rikke was probably doing me the favor of discovering possible affections. I grounded myself with the Dragonborn's reaction, or rather, lack thereof. Besides, my affecti
