Can you give a soul salvation? Can you give a soul salvation?3 years ago in Concrete Poetry More Like This
In the war with only night
In the shadows fearing light
One gives way to take respite
This the plea, he shall incite.
In the dark, he's lost in fright
Weary of the eternal plight
Singing that solemn lullaby,
Of the stars that have gone by.
Lost forever in the fight
From the danger and fright
Lacking will to neither live nor die
For them to strike he thus invites
Only a love from the days of old
Can stop the darkness taking hold
But his heart has grown so cold,
To decay, his body sold.
Who can offer him salvation?
Through the fear of annihilation?
Driven mad with isolation,
Can you save A souls temptation?
Who can off the love and light,
In the approaching dread of night?
In the coming of the swarm
Who can chase away the swarm?
From his death to his birth
Angels and demons war on earth
For whatever his soul is worth
Save this man from the markers words.
The prayers of a unitologistOh dear masters and creators of all, we the faithful servants of the deity we ask you to listen and fulfill our prayers have long been shocking, huge, long and absolute conflicts that seem endless and please do not want to be part of the meat you know?, why waste time with things that only we are separating and destroying our lives, when we can all be saviors, prophets, spiritual protectors, messengers, cosmic entities and even gods with infinite powers that soon we will be to beyond the divine and glorify the path of eternal salvation. Brothers and sisters, join your voices to ours and sing victory everlasting, very soon we unify to become the elect themselves and be born again as gods.
We will not suffer anymore.
We are the cure for our world and then the universe.

The two Surveyors made their way up to the console. Alexandra made it up first, climbing over the side and making her way to the supervisor. Robert angrily climbed up by himself, visibly upset that Alexandra wasn't there to help him up.
"Good work," the Supervisor said as he looked at the console, "We're getting a clear image. The engineers are currently moving the loader. Altman be praised at their progress. They are just barely ahead of schedule."
Robert got a good look at the screen. Sam Caldwell was currently pulling the loader on the track using his Kinesis Module. The Marker seemed to be glowing slightly brighter as the loader was brought in close.
"This is Cooper to Maxwell. You reading me, surveyors? Over."
Maxwell raised his right arm and punched the button on his comms module. A hologram vidscreen revealed the face of an engineer on the other side.

You're Baptist? No problem. You are accepted.
Catholic? Come on in. We welcome you.
Lutheran? You are a wonderful person.
You're Islamic? Ok, we can tolerate that.
You're a Mormon? Great to meet you.
You're a Pagan? But...you're a heathen. Go dance naked around a fire somewhere else. We don't want your kind here. Oh, do get out of my house. I don't want a demon in here around my family.

Death of Kat
I leaned back against the wall.
My mind throbbed over these past hours.
These missions are starting to take a massive toll on me.
I breathed in and out...
I looked around the room that the rest of Noble Team have been holding out in.
I can see Carter, Noble's leader, staring out at the almost-completely ruins of New Alexandria...
I can see Kat, Noble's co-leader and intelligence specialist, working her way on fixing with a comm unit...
I can see Jun, Noble's best sniper, watching for movement with a pair of binoculars within the ruins...
I can see Emile, Noble's assault specialist, sharpening his kukri against his shoulder armor at the other side of us...
There is one more Noble that should have been here.
And that's Jorge, Noble's heavy weapon specialist...
Ever since Operation: UPPERCUT, my heart was hurting me.
Ever since his loss, I just wanted revenge to those who sent us on that suicide mission!
But a mission is a mission... and we must carry them o

Death of Jorge
I stood motionless.
The barrel of my MA37 smoked, leaving tendrils of fading wisps in the air.
And I stood, barely making a sound.
Ever since the last of the Covenant forces in the hangar bay of the Covenant Corvette, The Ardent Prayer, everything's gone too quiet.
I barely made any sound, barely made any movement...
Nor I barely breathed...
I both watched my motion-tracker and the shadows of each and every corner that filled this hangar bay.
And I could feel the sweat crawling down my brow, and each and every part of my body has gone intense.
Because there is this one thing that always clicked in my mind:
I have a bad feeling about this.
But to my relief and surprise, I can hear my COM emitting some static before Jorge's voice ringed out, "Six, meet me back at the Pelican."
It was my only response.
I made one last sweep across the area and checking the motion-tracker before I can confirm myself that its all clear.
With that out of the way, I made my w

I watched as the last remaining Brute Chieftain drop to the rain-soaked pavement with various bullet wounds embedded into it's flesh.
Even with the last of the Covenant forces on the landing pad were killed, but my senses were still telling me that there are bound to be more of them.
And my instincts were telling me soon... very soon that they'll come.
I release the clip of my M392 DMR and refreshed it with a new one, readying myself if the Covenant bound themselves to show up.
I could feel the landing pad vibrate as Emile fired the Mass Driver into the oncoming Banshees, blowing them out of Her sky.
One by one...
As my gaze drifted towards the oncoming Pelican, the Pelican that's holding the UNSC's most highly skilled strategist and inspirational leader among the their Navy;

As the Pelican landed on the landing pad and opened the back hatch, I could see three Marines and the Captain himself.
I placed the M392 DMR onto the back of my MJOLN

I love you more than life itself
For life itself is worthless
Without someone with which to share
The beauty of life's purpose
I love you more than you can know
You've helped me more than you can imagine
I once was lonely, now I see
That miracles still happen
I love you more for who you are
Than what you can or will be
Whenever I am feeling empty
You come along and fill me
I love you more than happiness
For my happiness comes from you
For so long I waited for someone
And now my wish has come true
I love you more with each passing day
More than anyone before
And no matter how much you love me
I will always love you more.

The Death of Carter
Both me and Emile ran as fast as we could go.
After managing to dodge two Covenant Scarabs and taking out yet another squadron of Covenant forces of Grunts, Jackals, Brutes, and a Wraith tank...
We just cannot stop.
Because there is one reason - we are very close to our destination.
But to me, it feels like that we going to utterly fail the mission...
Ever since leaving Carter on the almost-destroyed Pelican that we used to be on, my heart was telling me that I should have refused his word and helped him.
But since he's the Commander and Noble Team's Leader, I cannot disobey his direct order, no matter how much I want to.
But from Dr. Halsey order herself, I am entrusted to deliver and safeguard the extremely most important package.
She had trusted me with a very smart A.I.
Which this A.I holds as much weight as Halsey herself... or even greater.
As we continued our run through the entrance of the cave, my comm emitted some static before Carter's voice ca

Why don't you wring my neck yourself
Instead of letting the words do the dirty-work?
I can barely stomach

Is some insperation proverb
You felt compelled to share
Once more, it's a lie
Solemnly I type the words
"That's a great one
It's so inspirational"
Don't say I lied though
Because you started it
I don't see
How you can even tolerate yourself
Your so happy
You sicken me deeply
But yet I linger
For fear of being alone
You make a desperate attempt
At some joke
Barely seeing the screen through the teary haze
I type LOL once more
But everything I typed
Has been in code
I'm crying right now

And to the extent of my limited understanding
It is human nature to want to be right at all times
If this can be applied to all people
We can assume that from humanity arises two frames of mind
They are as follows:
Those that change their views to reflect their surroundings
Those that alter their surroundings to reflect their views
As far as I am aware of
And to the extent of my limited understanding
We live in a fragile realm that abides by its own rules
We who live in this realm are forever subject to these rules
Breaking these rules seems to be a futile effort
Ignoring these rules seems to lead to certain peril
Our understanding of these rules are partial and incomplete
And it appears that regardless of the effort we may never fully understand
Yet despite this we strive to understand these rules as we yearn for more clarity
As a result of this pursuit we thrive as we learn
The past indicates that the opposing action leads to stagnation or even decline

What Awaits at the Farthest Ends...The night started with a bottle of scotch and a blank piece of paper. He spent the whole night on that beach dragging his palms through the coarse sand, letting it slip through his fingers. He gave his hands a long look- still heavily calloused and riddled with scars. His skin resembled the facades of the old beach houses- cracked and weathered from too much sun. He was sure his hair must be wild, salt-ridden and damp from the ocean spray, but that hardly mattered either.
He had tipped the bottle back and drank the rest of his liquid courage hours ago, the arthritic bones in his neck still sore from savoring that last sip.
Dawn crawled up the coast like a shadow, bringing a thick mist that hovered over the water. He

I sat in the Retching Netch leaning on the stone railing of the stairs that lead to the main area of the inn. My eyes rested on a character dressed in armor resembling the armor the city guards wore, but was less bulky. He or she wore red cloth under the gaps in the armor and green goggles over their eyes.
I approached the person, hoping they were who I was looking for; they noticed me approach and looked up to meet my gaze with their hidden eyes. Now that I was closer, I realized this person was male.

Three Naval Infantry soldiers, two Marines and a Navy SEAL, walked the United States Interstellar Marine Corps, FOI SMMC Michael P. Barrett Walk of Remembrance. I quietly followed their march around the barracks, through the fields and onto the shiny black deck where memorials were placed for Marines both missing- and killed-in-action during the First Interstellar War.
Around the base, groups of recruits were being run right into the ground by their drill instructors as they chanted cadences from the Marine Corps years' past. The drill instructors barked the cadence lines and recruits sung along.

It felt so good to be home after days of traveling. I was the Dragonborn who slain Alduin and the one they called Stormblade, the one who lead the Stormcloaks to victory against the Empire and recently, stopping vampires from taking away the sun. All I wanted to do was sit in my home within Windhelm and enjoy a bowl of venison stew before resting in my own bed after weeks of eating rabbit and sleeping in a bed roll in the mud.
As I walked through the icy town, two people approached me; they dressed in strange garments and wore masks almost similar to the Dragon Priests of ages past. One held their hands on their hips, the other leaned against the wall of Candlehearth hall, arms crossed over their chest and looking at me.
"You there! You're the one they call Dragonborn?" asked one of the strange people, this one was female, but the race was unknown.
I looked at them with an eyebrow raised, one of my hands resting on the hilt of my battle axe strapped to the back of my Dawnguard armor.

Ever since the 2012 doomsday was successfully averted, the space had grown hostile towards the earth. As many as 100 meteorite crashes were reported in 2yrs. Our sun showered more cosmic radiation than ever through the depleting Ozone layer. As fixing these became the top priority, no one paid attention to the 2300 km wide rock hiding in the Jupiter's shadow. I wished that we all could do this, if we aren't in any UNSC or ONI personnel content...
