RotG: Night on Bald Mountain
The Nightmare King arose from his long slumber, stretching and extending his limbs. This was his night and he wasn't going to waste a second of it. Since the opening to his lair had been unceremoniously closed he had to find an alternate route of exit. His newest opening into the mortal realm was in the guise of a deep cave in the side of a large mountain where no sunlight ever entered. The cave opened up onto a large worn down cemetery, the perfect spot for his merrymaking. Standing in the center of the graveyard he drank in the fear from the children of the world. Walpurgis Night had always been one of his favorite days of the year, second only to All Hallows' Eve. A night where he was free to do as he wished and spread his NightMares without having to worry about the Guardians stopping him. A wicked grin crossed his face as he thought of how much it must eat away at them to not be allowed to stop him. With his grin still in place the Boogeyman raised his arms and called forth a band
Don't Leave Me AloneWind ripped through the ice cavern Tooth was currently barricaded in, stinging her eyes and causing tears to leak at their corners. She crossed her arms and rubbed her hands up and down their sides trying to stay warm. Tooth tried to look up but she was immediately blinded by gust of snow and ice, covering her face with her hands the tooth fairy moved to the side of the cavern in hopes of shielding herself away from the icy blasts. With her wings gone Tooth felt bare and unstable, like a cat without its tail.Don't Leave Me Alone3 years ago in Short Stories More Like This
"Oh, Jack," she whispered wearily, "I'm sorry I couldn't save you." With Pitch having taken over Jack's body and Tooth being trapped here, the other guardians had no warning of Black Ice.
Tooth tried to rid her of the memory of seeing Jack changed into something he wasn't, his blue eyes turning black just as his white hair turned black and gray and his entire body encased with black sand. Tooth tried to fight off the evil that grew inside of him, but Black Ice slashed her wi

He liked going through the front door. After all, having spent years trying to break in, he rather enjoyed just strolling up, knocking on the door, and the yetis just letting him in, and not throwing him out. Jack chuckled recalling some of those rather 'fond' memories with Phil. He shook his head with a smiled and continued his walk to North's workshop. Until he heard someone calling him.
"Umm, excuse me? Jack Frost was it?"
Jack turned around. "Oh," he said, recognizing her. "It's you."
Inside the workshop, the other Guardians were passing the time while waiting for Jack to show up.
"If you ask me," Bunnymund complained, "we shouldn't have to wait for him." He looked over at one of North's sacks. "Just go give the lil bugger another lift, I say." He smirked.
Sandy smiled, images of a little rabbit hopping around his head.
North kept busy by doing what he always did: Preparing toys for the nice children of the world.
Tooth felt particularly energetic and she and

It was Christmas day at Nicholas St. North’s workshop, and everybody was celebrating.
North and his crew had just come back from their long night of giving presents to the children of the world. The entire night went off without a hitch and everyone was relieved and ready to party.
Jack had never seen the kind of parties that North and his Elves could put on. It was quite amazing. The Elves had taken a blank spot of snowy landscape outside North’s workshop and turned it into a Christmas Wonderland.
In the large clearing there were tables of Christmas cookies and other goodies, along with a full Christmas dinner. They hung garland and ornaments on the surrounding trees, and twinkling lights wound up and down the trunks. There was a large throne in the front of the party area, which North sat in, clearly exhausted, while the Elves brought him cookies on a silver platter. In the center the Yetis had hauled in a
WaltzIt was Christmas eve, and up in the North Pole, Nicholas St. North was getting ready to host his annual Christmas party. He had finished his job earlier than usual just to host the party, and he had made sure that everything was in place. North's factory had been decorated with millions of twinkling multicolored lights and never-melting ice and Christmas trees decorated with glowing ornaments and baubles. An orchestra of Elves and Yetis were assembled in the corner and were providing the music for the evening.Waltz3 years ago in Flash Fiction & Vignettes More Like This
Somewhere in the factory palace, Jack stepped out his quarters that North had provided him for the night, pulling at the tie around his neck with apprehension. The suit was a little bit uncomfortable in comparison to his usual hoodie and pants ensemble, and so were the shoes. In all honesty, he wouldn't have worn the fancy outfit if not for the group of Tooth's minifairies that had kidnapped him and stuffed him into it. He stopped in front of a mirror to check his reflection. A d
