Love is like a good song.
A melody that sweeps you up into the air,
then comes softly crashing down into the warmth of an embrace.
The gentle joining of two beings.
A missing piece that is found and connected with the soft and rapid beating of two hearts.
The thumping that blurs into an articulate bliss.
Creating revelations as the way the wind creates waves on the ocean.
It lasts seconds.
Then you have to pull away, and say goodbye to what now has become a part of you.
Where bliss was, a hard dulling pain pulls on you like gravity.
Where consciousness and clarity was, faintness and confusion invades.
Where color was, darkness falls.
You let it go. Only in that lost moment could you have thought clearly enough to realize how you could have kept it.

Your life is not made up of days, hours or minutes.
