Set 2 : http://fav.me/d5k3q9m
I'll do a second set of 100 themes after all these are adopted. oWo
Yes you can copy this list xD Just give credit for the first 45 to :iconskulldog:
For music adopts I prefer using the randomize feature of my playlists (youtube, my mp3 player, realplayer, etc).
Here: http://www.monstropedia.org is a nice website of cryptozoology and mythological type creatures.
Here: http://www.dinosaurfact.net + http://dinosaurs.about.com/od/mesozoicmammals/Mammals_of_the_Triassic_Jurassic_and_Cretaceous_Periods.htm are nice websites for dinos and such.
Google is your friend! But be sure you don't just rip off someone else's work. There's a difference between inspiration and just copying.

OK I broke these down to make the lists more manageable. And I keep wanting to add more themes. xD
This is set 1 of 3.
The first 45 are from :iconskulldog:'s l

Loosely based on "About Looking" by John Berger en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_Ber…
If you look them up in any dictionary of modern occidental language you'll find out that the two verbs 'to see' and 'to look' mean two different cognitive actions, complementary but somehow opposite. The definition in the dictionary shows it clearly: 'to perceive with the eyes' (to see) opposed to 'to direct one's eyes in a given direction or on a given object' (to look) which still implies employing one's sight.
There are many factors contributing to the distinction:
- First of all is the 'intention'. To look presumes a will, an intention, that seeing doesn't necessarily entail.
- The 'orientation'. The eyesight can be general and unfocused, while the gaze is focused on something, even when we stare into emptiness.
- The 'duration'. 'To see' do

It's the first door to the leftSo once upon a time in the school library today, the librarian kept misgendering me after seeing my library records (they're separate form the main school records and for some reason my biological name and gender marker aren't changed in the library's system). Even after I'd corrected her, she kept at it and completely shouldered the fact that she was using wrong pronouns and pretty much harassing me; that of course really pissed me off and I ended up telling her,It's the first door to the left2 years ago in Personal More Like This
"You should really get that speech impediment looked at, I know a great doctor in room go fuck yourself"
I probably took it a bit far with that comment but seriously? What's wrong with people, that makes them think that they have the right to tell you what you identify as?
A Skewed Perception of Modern Beautyokay, so I feel like I need to do a body image/ media rant right now, especially since I just got back home from shopping and it's depressed me a lot.A Skewed Perception of Modern Beauty3 years ago in Personal More Like This
I'm just so fucking sick of the media forcing girls to compare themselves to each other. Honestly, I am. This is coming from a girl who has struggled with weight and severe self esteem issues since 4th grade. Ever since I hit puberty, I've had radios and TV's and magazines telling me that I'm not pretty enough. After eight years of this, it really wears you down. It's gotten to a point where I can't even go shopping without just sitting in the changing room and crying my eyes out because I have to settle for everything.
I'm 5'5", I have natural curves, and I weigh around 150 lbs. The doctor says I'm at a healthy weight: not really overweight and not underweight. But how can I feel healthy when every image I see on billboards and adverts and movies and tabloids tells me that I'm fat and that I need to be "fixed", when, in real

"If I could tell the story in words, I wouldn't need to lug around a camera"
- Lewis Hine
This week I happened across a Photographer who shoots the economy - currently in the UK. If you ever wondered what Economy looks like - and what the recession looks like - in the Photographic sense then wonder no more. Simon Robert's has it captured. What really struck me though, aside from the complete normality and sometimes mundane life that made the photographs, was the comments on the Article that I read about Simon. The BBC Wrote about him yesterday and nearly all the comments were from people advocating boredom. The Irony is that Simon Robert's had, in full colour, photographed our lives. And the general consensus was that it was dull and unimaginative. How very English we are.

Two editions of What Digital Camera appeared today and I'm pretty glad they did because I flicked through and immediately landed on a link for a free online Photography magazine. You can open it up yourself Right Here and I haven't tested but I believe it works in all countries. The reason I'm sharing it is because they have a nifty forum where you can share your own photography with the chance of them picking it to publish either in the online magazine or the 'real' shop versions. What have you got to lose right?
