Mad Father: Nurse AyaDio felt the liquids pour from his eye although his free hand kept a strong hold on it. He couldn't help having his wound seep through the cracks in his hand, but it was his fault he approached the madman's daughter - his intent on gaining her trust- by the wishes of her mother.Mad Father: Nurse Aya3 years ago in Romance More Like This
Was that why he was alive? Just to help a little girl? He couldn't tell the future, but he knew the Doctor would not be lasting long anytime soon. The lighter in his pocket grew heavier, like lead, each time he approached that one fateful room where it all began:
He was a corpse, as always, but he couldn't move. It was impossible for him to have a conscience either, but he could remember it as easily as his own nick-name given by the other walking corpses who shared his fate. The girl whisked away something in her palms, but he couldn't tell with his one eye. She stopped, her pale face turned and her blue eyes shone with fear.
She ran off and he didn't see her until an hour later she returned with a bundle of b
Ib - He Didn't KnowColdness overcame him. Of course he heard the voice. Garry listened to each petal of his magic blue rose fall, floating to the ground as his life wilted with the flower. He had once hoped that Ib might have been able to rescue him, but soon he became aware of how fragile his consciousness was becoming and how soon he would slip into darkness.
Garry wanted only the best for Ib, the cute, fun little girl he had only met that afternoon. In his last moments when the last shining blue petal fell and Mary sounded off a final, blissful Loves me as a cheer of victory Garry had only wished that Ib had made it home safely after all they had been through at this horror show of an art museum and that Mary would stay as far away from the sweet girl as possible. Mad Father: Fanfic Epilogue- An Ending to the EndI lied in bed, coughing. A silver strand of hair fell into my face. ‘Is it time?’ I thought, ‘Already?’ I glanced around the room, no one cared to see a lonely old woman pass away. Especially an old woman like me. There were very few people who cared for me in my lifetime, anyway. Two… three at the most.Mad Father: Fanfic Epilogue- An Ending to the End3 years ago in Romance More Like This
Stifling a laugh I felt a nonexistent dagger pierced through my chest, ‘Damn, I got old.’ Between my ongoing work and thoughts dwelling on a miserable memory of my past I hadn’t really thought of myself.
I was surrounded by death. Even in my childhood, although, falling into death’s arms myself was a… pleasant change. The pain was beginning to recede from my 79 year old body. The havoc I caused upon myself was contained once again, never to be released. My eyelids grew heavy.
After losing once again another person. I-I remember it in so much clarity. My assistant, Maria, hadn’t returned. After a couple of days I
A Sacrifice (Dio x Aya: Mad Father)Aya sighed heavily, taking the stained gloves off of her hands and placing them into a sink filled with clear water that turned a deep red colour as soon as the gloves came into contact with it. Shifting her gaze from the desk at the side of the room, Maria watched as the short-haired woman walked towards the east-side of the house.A Sacrifice (Dio x Aya: Mad Father)3 years ago in Romance More Like This
"Are you going to retire, mistress?" She asked, standing up from her desk; knocking over a few papers. Aya nodded slowly and smiled widely at her adoptive mother.
"Ma, my name is Aya not mistress." The dark-haired woman stated, using the nickname she had given the former maid for the past nine years. She could never call Maria 'mother' as it felt out of place however she also knew that when she escaped from the mansion and decided to live with her father's assistant, who became her guardian and eventually her adoptive mother, that saying her name would be disrespectful. Aya opened the door to the hall and looked back at the older woman who bowed her head in

"Isn't it great, Ib? We get to graduate soon!"
One of her friends seemed terribly excited about their high school graduation. It would be happening in less than two weeks, and seniors would even be allowed to leave school a week early to prepare for the graduation ceremony that would take place in the following week. It was quite hectic for all the seniors of the school, of course for teachers as well, but with everything coming up in a few days, there was a serious need to think and plot about ones future or who they would become.
Ib's friend, Ami, wanted to become a doctor, was accepted to a great college in a far away state, and already had scholarships and full paid grants for her tuition. She was strangely smart for someone so bubbly and... un-focused?
She reminded her of someone...
Someone she wished she could forget.
Old Habits -Ib+Oneshot-Garry flicked his smoked cigarette to the ground, stomping it out with his heel as he faintly heard the final school bell ring. He waited patiently as the students began flooding out the entrance gates, talking of how they were going to just waste their days away, as opposed to studying for tests or working on school projects. He exhaled the plume of smoke he had been holding back, and settled his hands into his pockets. It was just like every other day.Old Habits -Ib+Oneshot-3 years ago in General Fiction More Like This
Ever since their reunion after the art gallery, Garry made it a point to see Ib everyday. After school he would walk her home or to his house to help her study. If it were a weekend, the two of them would go to the cafe and have some macaroons and some drinks—juice for her, coffee for him. Then after that, they'd stop at Garry's apartment just to hang out and talk about random things. There was quite an age gap between the two, but Ib was Garry's best friend.
The aforementioned girl rounded the corner to the entrance, walking to

He ignored the sharp twigs scraping his face and arms. “Aya!!” He screamed again. ‘No, please just give me a little bit more time,’ he thought. Dio let oxygen fill his lungs as he reached a small patch; the tall trees let no light shine through. “Ah, ah, ah!” He heard the doctor say. Dio turned his head and there stood Aya and her father resting the knife against her neck. “One more step and she comes with me… now that, as I see, you have the souls,” he paused for emphasis, “Then, again. I’ll just take my little Aya with me anyway. Why wait!”
“Wait! …just one second,” Dio yelled before the Doctor plunged the knife into her. Dio

But you are as though the key to my old apartment. I wouldn't use it again, yet I'll still keep the bronze rusty key in my drawer by my bed, maybe to reminisce, or just for a slight possibility I'll go back again, I don't know, but I know I want to keep your memories perfect.

"Did you remember everything, Ib?
Oh! Do you have your handkerchief? You know, the one you got for your birthday?
Keep it safe in your pocket, okay? Don't lose it!]
Come, let us play a game
No adults will ever know
That you disappeared
To our little show
Come into the portal
Many friends are waiting
For you to arrive
To a world of paintings
Just take a step
Into the deep Abyss
You'll be fine, just trust me
We promise that you won't be missed
Keep your rose close to you
5 petals, see?
Each one that's pulled off
Represents an injury
Don't get too close to the walls
Don't break the mannequins
Each holds many consequences
Make sure you don't lose your senses
Come, let us play a game
A game which will risk your life
Three you will hold
Don't fill them with strife
Such a colorful world
For you all to explore
Don't get lost in it
Just keep walking forward
Find the key and
Quickly head for home

(e/c) orbs followed the sound to locate it, only to find that 2P England had returned to his spot in my drawing. Though his insane grin seemed more mischievous and sweet.
"______, would you like me to grade it?" my teacher asked nicely, snapping me from my thoughts.
"S-Sure.." I whispered and gave him a half-hearted smile.
My teacher then gently grasped the drawing and stared. His light eyes were deciphering everything from the style to the way I colored the cupcake lover who stared back. "I give it an A+..."
I smiled a little more as he handed me my drawing and I proceeded to sit at my assigned seat.
Through the whole class I sat by myself, trying to think analytically as I stared at the swirling eyes in the picture. Every so often I could have sworn he blinked, but it was usually a split second b

The distant sound of persistent water filled your dark consciousness, the swirling mass of shadows that was your mind seeming to brighten if only slightly by the recognition of a sound. Your thoughts struggled to surface from the abyss of ebony, a dull feeling of pain from somewhere on your body seeming to lull you back into the far depths of sleep. Finally, with more effort than you had thought, you managed to complete a thought.
The booming echo of thunder seemed to consume your entire world of blackness, the deafening sound answering your thoughts post haste. The sound, in most circumstances, would have frightened you. However, in your state of semi-consciousness, it only served as the straw that broke the camel’s back.
Your train of thought came back to you abruptly, causing you to let out a light groan as the once dull pain resonating through your body suddenly became prominent. Your

Rain dripped loudly against the window of Twilight's library. She was trying to sleep, but couldn't. She knew that Pinkie knew where she was. She also knew that even with the Royal Guard's protection, she was exposed. She tried to calm herself down, but nothing seemed to work. She had read books about the subject of psychology, and knew what she was suffering from, but that didn't help her cope with it at all.
Her fearful reverie was interrupted by three muffled knocks that rang through the house. Twilight sat up with a jolt. She paused, waiting for something to happen. 'Must be my imagination,' Twilight said to herself as she laid her head back down on the pillow. Then the sound came again, three more quiet knocks. "Is someone there?" Twilight called, walking towards the door.
"Twilight? Can I talk with you?" A soft voice spoke through the door. Twilight was already sure who it was, but she s

Ib walked into her school, forced to squeeze her way through the corridors to her first class: art. It was time to see if the substitute teacher was any good. As she settled down into one of the chairs, she looked around and saw that there was no one. She sighed; that was a good start. She had arrived before the teacher himself.
"I am so sorry I'm late I-" A roughly twenty-year old man with fascinatingly purple hair and a maimed blue coat stopped as he took in the fact that there was only one girl here, "Ah. How are you Ib?" He said with a smile and said girl looked up immediately from her book. Garry frowned; who was Ib? How could he possibly know her name? If it was her name; it probably wasn't. Although, come to think of it, 'Ib' wasn't a very common name in the first place. Garry didn't even know it existed; yet the name had felt so familiar and normal rolling over his tongue. Anyway, it would only make matters worse if the girl responded.
