My half of a trade with Trade are closed, please don't ask.
I can't draw human anatomy and I'm sorry. ;; AND DO YOU KNOW HOW HARD IT IS TO DRAW THAT KNEELING POSE? HOLY SHIT I had to pull up like, 5 different references. But this was very good practice and I'm glad I did it. :>
As I always I STILL have the cop-out of drawing horrible trees in the background, but I did actually spend time on the rest of that background, and I kinda like it. XD
Long story short, Miroku as a two tailed cat demon like Kirara, from some story idea I had, (which sounds stupid, but actually had a good plot going), which I'll never make 'cause I'm lazy.
Any-hoo, I wanted to doodle some b/w stuff, so I did. The first time I made this Paint went and f-ed up on me, (told me it was out of memory then left a giant black box over the pic which I couldn't get rid of and had to restart paint), leaving me with nothing but the sketch. So then I was like, screw it, and didn't touch it for a month, 'cause the first time I had spent about an hour on it messing with the shadding and it looked really cool.
But I finally got around to re-doing it just now. Only spent like 5 minutes on it this time, so it's nothing near as good as it was. XD
I'd like to do some comic pages or something with the black and white coloring like this, but now I'm too scared to do a larger project like that because if only a tiny little pic went and messed up Paint, I'm sure a larger one would be a billion times worse.
I like, really love him, and he's my baby now. uWu And he's so much fun to just hold because of the weight in his butt and paws. <3
Anyways, I just wanted to test a pattern, so there's plenty wrong with him. Head too small and flat, feet need work, nose is pointed down weird, etc. And I was basically slapping the details onto his face as fast as I could, so it's a bit sloppy and a little uneven. owo And the ears arn't red panda ears because I was too lazy to redraw my ear pattern. I was working on this guy as fast as I possibly could, basically. XD (And still took me around 12 hours)
Will be working with the same pattern some more, tweeking things till they're how I like, then probably eventually take commissions using this pattern.
100% sewn by hand. Made of fleece. Filled with poly-fill fiber and poly-fill pellets. Measures about 9 1/2 inches tall while sitting (counting ears)
Psh, I said I'd take the day off drawing and get some plushie making time in today, and then I ended up only spending a small amount of time working on a plush and the rest of the day finishing a bunch of pictures. XD
I found a setting on my camera that lets me take decent indoor pictures! o3o So yay me. Else I woulda had to wait till tomorrow when the sun was up and take the picture outside like I normaly do. Buuuut, now I should be able to upload plushies as I finish them and not have to wait till it's light out.
Entirly hand sewn. Made of fleece. Eyes made of layered fleece. Stuffed with pollyfill and plastic pellets.
I wanted to make a plush on my sewing machine, so I went and made this. :>
I got the better angle of her face, but her eyes are a little too close together. And her muzzle is too small. Also her butt where her tail comes out of is misshapen, and her belly is too wide. My back hurts horribly right now, so I didn't bother to position her tail right, sorry!
I was inspired off this here pattern: 'Corse it's my own pattern. I just liked the idea of the ears and the back/top of the head being one peice, I belive it's more sturdy. I've already edited the pattern more since this plush, so it's now even more different.
She is made of fleece. Her eyes are layered felt. She measures 14 inches standing up, including her horn.
She stands up perfectly on her own, like this, as well as flopping down pretty cutely. Flopped down:
