This was meant to be a quick entry for last weeks Jungle queen themed Trinquette Challenge, but deadlines and getting a bit carried away meant it was late. Again.
Was fun though... I have to paint more jungle stuff!

Pencil and ink, painted in photoshop. No leaves were harmed in the making of this painting.

Back in 2004 I was working on a comic I was calling 'Robyn Hood and her Mary Mehn'. Never got very far with the project before I stopped…. and now that Zenscope has launched a "Robyn Hood' comic of their own, thats where I will leave it :D.
So here's me dragging out my character lineup art one final time, finishing off the colours and posting it as a farewell to the whole thing.

Pencil and inks, then coloured in photoshop.

Pinpup for the upcoming graphic novel of the collected El Zombo comics by writer Kevin Munroe and über talented artist Dave Wilkins, :icondave-wilkins: who was kind enough to hire me to create this pinup piece for the book, but also to let me post it on dA (thanks man!) - go check out his work!

I'll post an update when the book comes out so you can all chase down a copy  :D

Pencil sketch, painted in photoshop. I usually just stick to really basic brushes in photoshop, but played with a cloud brush I found at [link] for the smoke in the background on this and was very happy with the results.

Quick colour over a tattoo design for a character on a documentary poster I've been commissioned to paint. Even thought its going to be a tiny element that few will notice, I kind of regret not making it sassier… or adding a couple of chickens for that matter - everything is funnier with chickens. Unless its roast for tea and you are the chicken... then, not so much.

Pen and ink, paint in photoshop.

I can't tell you how happy I am to be doing the Danger Girl covers for :iconj-scott-campbell: and Andy Hartnell's popular comic book series published by IDW! This one was inspired by the classic movie poster Bullitt.
