Customized hoodie for a Neopets Random Contest. I did not win. ----- Everyone knows red, black, and silver make the snazziest team colors. The Virtupets hoodie combines all three in a fashionable ensemble that makes you look good while still flaunting that team support! The fabric is light with a two-way stretch, so you can wear it even in warmer climes and don't have to feel restricted in your movements. Choose between wearing it closed to show off your team name, or open with the addition of a zipper down the front. The Virtupets team logo is painted on the back of the hoodie, as well as on the right side. A red-and-black stripe down the right sleeve compliment the hood.
(PS: Dr. Frank Sloth T-shirt and Team Virtupets cap are not included with every order of the Team Virtupets "Back to the Hoodies" Hoodie).
(PPS: This hoodie was designed by myself. The logos, "VIRTUPETS" text, and cap and T-shirt were all hand-painted using fabric paint and fixed by ironing according to the instructions by myself. Adult help was sought for the actual sewing of the hoodie, though it was willing help. Team Virtupets is not to be associated with Dr. Frank Sloth and don't endorse the use of threats or blasters to encourage teamwork).
This figurine i made in high school, of the Vampire Lestat from the book of the same name by Anne Rice. The wolf I added later; i bought him as a souvenier in Quebec. The quarter is there for size comparison, the stand is just a telescoping stand that i bought. Lestat is made entirely of sculpey and then painted with acrylic paints. His jacket and breeches are a red satiny material that i sewed onto him, with some lace and bead trim. The violin and bow are also handmade and handpainted in acrylic on sculpey, with some gold wire added on. The gold strings tend to separate, but a drop of elmer's glue fixes them every time. I've blasted him with the can of air, but some of the light dust refuses to depart. He has been part of my personal collection all this time, but i'm selling him on etsy right now: [link]
My newest creation. March Hare ears. Designed to replicate the goofy, long eared Bassist, The March Hare from the Mad T Party at Disney's California Adventure. Took about 4 days to make considering I had to dye the fur teal. Apparently teal fur doesn’t exist. Go figure. Plus not too easy to find either. Super soft and sturdy enough to survive the roughest of "Party Hard" ear floppage!
I'm finally happy with this as they now are as close to the actual Hare's as I can make them.
For the people who have placed commissions with me for the ears this is what you'll be getting from me.
Thanks for the comments and criticisms to help me make this the best cosplay piece I can make.
There will be pics of my guinea pig room mate rocking them again later. Til then you're stuck with MTP Thackery references (Not that you were complaining )
