Sorry for the watermark but it's for safety of the game you will be soon able to download and play online
(I will keep you updated with that!)
It's one of many animation sequences which will be rotoscoped for the game. It's a second part of sleeping panda, this time she is waking up c:

Sooo excited!

There it is, finally. My 2nd year animated short film 'Thief'. I've been busy with it for a few months, but the actual animation was done in about 4 weeks - with a minimum of 12 hours work a day, 7 days a week.
The story is about... well, just watch it.
The music was composed and made by Niek Lucassen, a talented music composer from the same school as me.

I think about adding some visual effects to the jetpack exhaust in the near future, as well as sound effects (since everything feels a bit empty like it is right now).
Also, I'm sorry for the bad quality - the original, uncompressed file is a bit too big for DA.

PLEASE TURN THE VOLUME UP A BIT (otherwise the music will probably disappear into nothingness, which would be a shame)

YAY, it's the Otter book trailer! This took me quite some time, and is done entirely using Adobe After Effects and Photoshop. I love making little films :)

This is a pencil test I did while waiting in jury duty. I have this idea where I do this pencil test as a base, but for the final I do every frame as a completely different character design from the previous frame. 37 designs in all. I hope this ends up looking cool. If not, then at least it will be a fun experiment. I plan on uploading each design onto DA as I progress. Hope this works! We'll see!

FINALLY!! After all this time! Here is my senior thesis to share with you!!
Bear with me now, this is the first time I've submitted any film to dA, and if there are any problems you see like skipping or things taking a long time to buffer TELL ME! I'll upload a smaller version of the film :D

So this baby took a year and a half to make! That includes visual development, pre-production, animatic, 3D modeling, texturing, 3D animatic, set dressing, and finally animation/dynamics, final rendering, and film/music editing. It was a fun and painful process to make indeed ^^;

I do love my film, but there's also alot I'm unhappy with. Many things had changed in the process from what I originally wanted. And right now, I'm actually saving up to buy the programs I need to actually redo my entire thesis. Yes. I want to remake the entire story :D It wont be for a while, but its a goal.

But in the meantime I hope you enjoy the tale of Kathryn, a young girl who sucks her thumb, who finds herself trapped in the very fairy tale that warned her to stop her bad habit in the first place.

Legal garbage:
-My thesis was based on the tale "Die Geschichte vom Daumenlutscher" from the book Der Struwwlpeter by Heinrich Hoffmann.
-I was given permission to cut, edit, and use the music "Danse Macabre" by Kevin Macleod (originally composed by Camille Saint-SaŽns).
-Entire short (everything in it) was made entirely by me while attending Ringling College of Art and Design.
-Programs used to make this were Autodesk Maya, Adobe Photoshop and Premiere, and Pixar's Renderman.

Here is the first full color Pox short! Yeah I know it's only 5 seconds but hey we all gotta start somewhere. This was just a test I wanted to do with the premise "Pox dribbles a basketball" no planning involved, this was all straight ahead. I like doing that better because you get that spontaneity in the action. Done in ToonBoom Harmony, about 12 hours work over 2 days.

It's really small because DA doesn't like huge video files...

My 2D animation showreel includes clips from:
-My graduate film
-Collaborative project [The Heron & The fish]
-Wolves I animated for A.Leszczynska for her movie [An Interrupted Story]
-...and rest which are college ''homeworks and random stuff I animated in spare time.
