Name: Ferrari SP12 EC Year: 2012 Serial number: N/A Based on: Ferrari 458 Italia Nickname: N/A Owner: Eric Patrick Clapton Residence: The United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland Notes: Ferrari SP 12 EC pays hommage to the vintage Ferrari 512BB by it's design and colour scheme. The car was supposed to be powered by V12 at first, but because of the impact of such a modification to the chassis, 458 Italia's engine was left untouched. The engine swap would mean a new homologation process including crash tests. It could be spotted at 2013 Goodwood Festival of Speed.
Name: Ferrari F.Z.93 Year: 1993 Serial number: ZFFSA17S000083935 Based on: Ferrari 512TR Nickname: Formula Zagato Owner: N/A Residence: N/A Notes: The name stands for Formula Zagato '93, pointing to the year of it's debut and it's F1 inspired nose. The unique design is also influenced by jet fighters and is signed by Ercole Spada, the creator of the famous Aston Martin DB4 Zagato. It features classic Zagato's double-bubble roof, even 'less bubbled' this time. FZ93 is one of the very few coachbuilt cars which were repainted during it's life - at the begining the bodywork was covered in two-tone paint with a large black Prancing Horse on each side. There were also some minor differences in taillights. The vehicle built on a Swiss market model. It resided in Zagato Milano collection until early 2011, when it was auctioned.
The base : 1973 De Tomaso Pantera The project : Street racer / Shakotan Style
The Pantera is a famous sport car of the 70's & 80's, with an italian design and an american engine ( Ford V8). In the mid/late 70's, in Japan, some crazy guys have modified imported Panteras. I'm inspired by this. I've decided to revise this italian/american sport car with a japanese custom style. Hard to get ?
In a late 70's style, this wild beast received a light bodykit ( fenders, bumper, side skirts, etc.), a front radiator, old school rims, and a custom body paint. ( and some other lil stuff^^... the license plate number is a little proof) In fact, a kind of Pantera Shakotan! Of course, this crazy machine is approved in Japan. Enjoy!
