Qana is a village located southeast of Tyre in Southern Lebanon. It has been the location of two separate incidents in which the Israeli Defense Forces caused civilian deaths during military operations.
- 1996 shelling of Qana: On 18 April 1996, amid heavy fighting between the Israeli Defense Forces and Hezbollah during "Operation Grapes of Wrath", a Fijian UNIFIL compound in the village was shelled by Israeli artillery, killing 106 civilians and injuring around 116 others who had taken refuge there to escape the fighting. Four UNIFIL soldiers were also seriously injured.
- 2006 Qana airstrike: On 30 July 2006, during the 2006 Israel-Lebanon conflict, a double airstrike on the town killed at least 60 people (including 37 children) and injured many others when an apartment building collapsed.
I did this for a community project, A Love for Soldiers, though it's the last day to hand in (because I totally forgot this one). But phew...I'm done with it and satisfy too.
----------------- This image shows the meaning of soldiers who have to go for a war, away from people they love. The soldiers themselves don't wish to have wars at all, but many of them are blamed of wars existence. This shows that there are many people, too, that understand the situation. They honor soldiers' duty and they are glad to have them back home as the stairway directs....It's the beautiful sky, a bright future, that awaits the true sacrifice of loving soldiers. They're heroes.
This is a photomanip. I have to give credits to the stocks I borrow. Thank you very much, people. Without your help, this piece couldn't be done.

(OMG AN EXCUSE TO NOT DO HOMEWORK JUST HAD TO HAD TO HAD TO DO IT)
Okay, further explanationXD I wanted to try out to do something 'Homestuck' file, and since Nepeta is my patron troll, it was a shame to not use the ocassion. Nepeta, Equius and all belongs to the world of 'Homestuck' belonging to Andrew Hussie (but fanart is mineXD).
P.S. My first time drawing anything from 'Homestuck' and it's been ages since I animated gifs so... yeahXD Enjoy!XD
I came up with the idea for this a year ago!! But didn't get around to it in time. So I planned it for a year!! XD This is a representation and accentuation of the parallels between New York City and Castelia City from Pokemon.
One of my favorite parts of Thanksgiving is the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. It's been a tradition in my family to watch it every Thanksgiving morning. I've never been to the actual parade though. Hopefully some day! So I got to thinking about how I could make the Pokemon world feel more alive if I gave Unova this same holiday and bring the parade to Castelia. Happy Thanksgiving everybody!
P.S. I have no idea why but I ended up drawing Barack Obama on the right there. I wasn't planning on it, it just turned out to be him, so I left it in for fun. President of Unova? Wait, Obama doesn't have a son.... XD
These are the two 18-month old cheetah brothers. Fritzi is the yawning one and the right one is Hannibal. Have you known that male cheetahs are sometimes found in groups in the wild? They're mostly brothers but also other male cheetahs might join them. These cheetah groups are usually small having two or three cheetahs but even bigger has been seen with more than 10 cheetahs!
Lets celebrate the International Cheetah Day If you care about these magnificent felines you should support the Cheetah Conservation Fund! If you like cheetahs, have a look at this folder containing mainly high quality cheetah photos: [link] more cheetah photos will be posted during the day I'm participating with this photo in the International Cheetah Day Challenge. Follow the link if you would like to know more about it.
Feedback is also highly appreciated Photo 1/17 more are coming during the day
