Don't be surprised if I go through the steps quickly. In the lower tutorials everything has been described.

But first: What is Worbla's?
Worbla's Finest Art is a thermoplastic that's ultra cosplayer-friendly. It cuts easily with a knife or a pair of scissors.
PE: Learning to paint with deviantArtA lot of people want to learn to draw and paint better but they just don't know where to start. You don't need an expensive art course to learn and progress, sometimes the answers are not far away. On DeviantArt, artists not only share their artworks but many of them are willing to share their working secrets, they create tutorials and FAQ journals or simply answer to your notes if you ask them. When you know what you want to improve, searching for a good tip gets even easier.PE: Learning to paint with deviantArt3 years ago in Art Features More Like This

best dimensions for animation?Hello everyone!best dimensions for animation?3 years ago in Personal More Like This
Have any of my watchers been making an 2D, frame by frame animation? If so, could You tell me what were the dimensions of Your sequences? I'll be working on "FBTW the animation- trailer" in photoshop/ sai and after effects, I'm planning to use 600dpi HD 1920x1080 files, but I'm still not sure if that's enough (just thinking about zooming makes me so stressed Q_Q). I really don't want to mess anything up, so If You wish to help me, I'll be very very grateful!
By the way, If my actors see this journal I'd like to say I sent on Your email adresses new finished storyboards for the animation please take a look!
edit: thank You so much for all Your response! ;A; now I know what to do >3

Adoptables, Customs What is a Custom Adoptable?Adoptables, Customs4 years ago in Personal More Like This
It's an adoptable commission that is created using a pre-set lineart or base and the colours/patterns of the adopter's choice.
How do I start making Customs?
Starting is easy enough, you just have to decide that you have the time to do them and be willing to work with another person to produce something together. A custom is not unlike a collaboration after all, you'll just be doing all the "arm-work".
How do I make it easy for myself?
First: Be prepared!
(Only works with programs that support layers)
The fastest way to "make it easy" is to prepare beforehand. This means having some kind of layered base ready to be coloured. It doesn't matter if it's your own lineart or someone elses, but having to do all the colour outlines *every single time* is just boring and time consuming. And if you want to offer lower prices, you can't spend hours on the outlines.

Usamages...Stock Use Rules!!!Journal and rules and stock and thanks for stopping by...Usamages...Stock Use Rules!!!10 years ago in Personal More Like This
Hey, don't do anything I wouldn't do...and since I use other deviant's stock in my other account, I follow their rules like I hope you will follow mine. Rather simple really:
- Credit me on your dev.
- Note me on my account's front page, the stock may be deleted when year end packs are created.
- No reposts in 'specialized' stock accounts without permission.
- If all you're gonna do is apply a color overlay or filter...don't waste your time.
- Any use outside of DA is to be discussed first. Sketches are all good (even class assignments), and I'd like to see, if you feel it came out rather well.
- Prints have the green light...and you better appreciate any money I make for you.
- On requests, I make no promises, but what does it hurt to ask, eh.
- Please, no retouches. While a lot of work can go into a cosmetic retouch, I am not posting stock to see it shown back to me magazine ready.
And don't fo

I WON'T NOW, NOR WILL I EVER, ACCEPT DA POINTS IN RETURN FOR ANYTHING. They are utterly useless to me and my plans for world domination.
Now that that's out of the way, let me explain why:
DA points are not real currency. You can't take your amassed points total, and "cash out" to get the worth in real money. <b>
Exploring Art 5: Personality contaminationEdit: So you know, I am reading every reply, but I feel that if you all went to the effort to read my babble AND to give me such wonderfully thought out replies, I will take my time to devote my full attention to each of you. So I may be slow to reply but I WILL be replying. Also this is just random thoughts, I've found that my opinion is already fluxuating and changing as I think on the subject. I'm not sure what I fully think as of yet.Exploring Art 5: Personality contamination3 years ago in Personal More Like This
So, as some of you may know, I have a HUGE love of Doctor Who. It's one of my favorite shows out there, and today I was rewatching some old episodes, particularly when the doctor meets Vincent Van Gogh.
I was talking to my friend about the episode as we watched it, and the reaction of those around vincent as opposed to those in the future made me stop and think about how the artist themselves affects how the viewer feels about their work. Part of me feels that an artist's work will never truly be judged on the basis of it's own merit for as lo
In Response to the Self-AbsorbedThis is brief thought I wanted to add for the pussies that seem to have a problem with what Neil Gaiman wrote. In Response to the Self-Absorbed1 month ago in Personal More Like This
Here is the article - hhttp://journal.neilgaiman.com/2009/05/entitlement-issues.html
Having no intention finishing something is far different from being late - please make no mistake. I can tell you that it's zero fun to work 65 hour weeks to have some turd yelling at you for being a week late (Something that people who don't work for a living doing anything they are passionate about will never understand). Puts me in a rough mental state when humans are up my ass. This situation can create a terrible feedback loop for me - one of the reasons I try to stay away from interviews and forums.
I tell stories that I want to last, not ones that are "on time". Artwork for this takes time. If you desire a good story, you have to wait. If you want mental fast-food, you have thousands of titles to

Making a contest?!Another contestMaking a contest?!4 years ago in Personal More Like This
Well, I was thinking what would be that I make another contest... the last one I hosted 2 years ago (I think)... anyway, a long time ago. So I thought that it would be awesome to make another one, but a little different than last one. I have points, but I don't use them that much, so mostly I buy other people memberships. So I can use these points for the contest.
I thought to make a contest "Paint my OC". I have ton of original characters, so that can be possible. And the last contest had only 3 winners (fantasy contest), so this time I wanted to make 2 categories, so at the end there would be 6 winners. Yea One category would be that you choose OC (or more of them) from my gallery and you draw them like you want. Another category would be "painting". I would give you linearts for download, so you would paint characters on the drawing. I would give more info later, if I decide to start this contest... of course, if you would be interested to enter
this funny thing im doing herewow...this funny thing im doing here4 years ago in Personal More Like This
about 2 months ago i was joking around with my wife
imma make me a gallery on devart and imma post some bdsm doodles
and she was like, sure, go aead, should be fun
and a few pics in i start repeating the same characters
so we start joking around....and i went... imagine if i just kept doing the same characters ... just for the fun of it
aand she went, yeah that seems cool
so i went with it
so someone comes here and asks... do they have names
and i superstrain my brains and pick a bunch of A starting names
yeah... im brilliant like that
ant then right out of nowhere... i start making a bunch odf strips
and all of a sudden i cant seem to stop
and the worst part is i get my wife hooked too.. so instead of her being a voice of reason going... dude... you got deadlines...
she goes... dude... wheres the next one
so how the fuck did this whole thing become a friggin study of dom sub relationship i do not know
ARTISTS PLZ READ (esp.mangaartists)I just need to get out there,ARTISTS PLZ READ (esp.mangaartists)3 years ago in Personal More Like This
it's driving me nuts how many artists
give up doing art because of people or their situation.
So I wanna tell you my story, growing up and becoming an artist.
The reason I'm writing this out is because I really wanna be able to inspire, even if I'm not the greatest of artists.
I know for a fact, manga artists have much more hardship trying to become famous than painters and sculptor's etc.
Because there's just some idiots out there that think all anime is Sailer Moon, and who LOVES to control your life more than other people. Parents, friends w/e
My parents were very against the idea of me doing manga in the future, being famous and stuff.
It's childish, you're gonna be poor, you're gonna ruin your studies. My teachers weren't any better.
My real-life friends were either against, unsupportive or ignorant about doing manga art.
And being in my country with little population, that I can understand.
At this point, a lot of manga artists out there would give u
