It doesnt matter what people say!
My art was ugly as crap when I was 13. Thats how I saw it, I saw it as disgusting. Then I would get one or two watcher messages and feel great. THEN I would look around at the other artists on DA, and I would go back to thinking my art was stupid. i would copy things from other people's styles, trying so hard to get my style to look nice, to make it something people loved.
I was trying to be a people-pleaser.
But you know what?
I dont have to be a people pleaser.
I can make my art however I want to make it, and I know it is amazing. You know why?
Because nobody in the universe has a style like mine. Or yours, or any body elses.
Draw because you love it.
Draw because you love your art.
Even if you dont love it right now, you will someday. You WILL get better as time goes on. A

Well folks, we all lose a special loved one in our life at least once.
And well.
I just lost my 3rd loved one.
Me beloved, faithful friend Richard. He was great. A true friend.
First let me tell you a little bit about my beloved Richard before I describe how he was killed.
Richard was given to me on my birthday. I must say, he was the best birthday present ever!
A Compaq PC with exceptional graphics drivers. And a wacom Intous4 Tablet, what more could I ask for?
Richard faithfully ran every project, homework assignment, game, drawing, and anything else I wanted him to do.
He never crashed once.
Until yesterday.
Who killed him, you may ask? Or what?

Yes, my freinds, Richard contracted the DA Trojan Backdoor virus. He got it so bad, in fact, I had to restart him 5 times just to get him to work.
After I successfully booted him up in Safe Mode (which lets you have internet, but no sound or special apps, just classic Windows) i ran my Norton Internet security.

well, I don't know if anyone's reading this, but I'm pretty bored anyway.
I finally decided to get serious about photography,
got myself a new camera (Canon PowerShot SX10 SI),
and I got a few inspirations and ideas.
Now I'm on an adventure all around my local stores, looking for a few props and a model for my first photograph.
The past few days haunted me with migranes and other situations that I don't really appreciate,
but I'm sure that everything will be better eventually,
so I'm gonna try to finish this first photo as a first step.

Beautiful flowers are coming up and the tulip fields are growing really fast. Hope to find some time next week to photograph some of the tulip fields. Also got a lot of new and fresh ideas so you will be spammed soon again. I've been a little inactive lately because I don't have much time at the moment, my internship takes a lot of time, have to work in the weekends and have been doing a lot of fotoshoots with horses and their owners. Also my own horse needs her attention. But now a new fresh start!

Long ago, I wrote a journal about ideas for a contest. People noted me, and I finally decided on the theme. There will be a choice on what the theme will be. You can either A. draw a non-shimigami character as a shimigami, or B. re-design Takuto's, Meroko's, Izumi's, Jonathan's, an/or Death Master's costumes (the last two if you ever read the manga).
Rules:
1. No copying another person's design. This contest is for designing, not as much drawing.
2. No photography or writing. This is wether or not you draw.
3. You don't have to draw an intricate picture. You can even just draw it as something like this.
