Christmas... kind of late, I know Actually, this is my entry to contest Fractalize your Xmas Holidays. I spent this Christmas in Slovakia, it was beautiful there (lots of snow, dreamy atmosphere) but really really cold, so I was glad to be back in Prague for New Year's Eve
I am quite satisfied with this fractal. I had a vision of it in my mind for weeks; actually since I made Frozen I've had the base of it already done but I wasn't very happy with it back then. It was very dark, silver and dark blue gradient, really a snowflake during funeral kind of atmosphere. Also the shape was kind of too flat and boring. So I tweaked it a bit, changed colours and waited because I was still missing something. Then I discovered ~zy0rg's star shaped blur and everything became just perfect It reminds me of how I really liked to use pie and flower variation back in 2010... maybe because these shapes always look a bit out of place and grab attention... and they fit my artistic whimsical taste, I like to make things weird
Thank you for all favourites, comments, critiques and devwatches! It means a lot to me.
*edit* changed the category to submit it to the new contest :3
if it doesn't work here you can see it on my youtube [link]
This was my first assignment in my animation 1 class at Emily Carr :3 the animation had to be about traveling or something I don't remember it was a year ago that I made this, I picked what the drives were like when we were going to the dog show and oops I forgot to add seat belts D:
I've wanted to add this for awhile but was to lazy to go through the proses to be aloud to ad animations on DA
This is my entry for the Tomb Raider Reborn contest here on deviantART. I was barely able to get it done inbetween school work and other tasks, but I had tons of fun working on it. I wanted to show young Lara Croft finding her way through a less pleasant place, worried, but very determined. So here we see the tomb raider in, well, a tomb. I hope you enjoy this piece at least half as much as I enjoyed working on it

Had to run out into the street and shoot before the next car came barreling my way. Took about 20 minutes to get the right moment! Certainly worth it, though. One of my favorite shots from this autumn.
I like how the clouds sort of formed a hand over the one tree. as if it were reaching out to it.
