What sets this necklace apart is the unique bail from which the crystal is suspended. The beautiful flourish relief gives it a distinctly Victorian appearance. The simplicity of this necklace leaves it with a clean, elegant look that won't date or go out of style.
I almost didn't carve a pumpkin this year but at the last minute my sister covinced me to. I'm glad she did - I'm fairly proud of how this turned out. I'm not very good at carving pumpkins and I really wish I were. I was scared about the curves in this design - and how thin it gets in the shell - but somehow it worked out! Even though I was stupid and carved the edge of the shell spiral first and so it was hanging by a thread while I carved the center part (thumbs up to those who understood that).
We didn't get many trick-or-treaters, but I heard one of the few that came by say, "And a snail, how cool." Just sparks that nice warm feeling inside.
"The Snake is the intuitive, introspective, refined and collected of the Animal Signs. They are attractive people who take cries with ease and do not become flustered easily. They are graceful people, exciting and dark at the same time."
From now until Valentines Day, all items in our shop will be discounted! We will be having the Sale for the next few weeks ^^
This is a figurine I made to try and recreate my favorite scene from Studio Ghibli's movie "Spirited Away." It didn't come out exactly as I'd hoped, but oh well! I also suck at photography so you can't really see the footprint, either. ><
Made with polymer clay, acrylic paints, felt fluff, wire, and glaze.
Stands 1 3/4 inches tall.
The picture of the figurine without the soot sprites can be seen here: [link]
