So me and ~Haytch went on a shoot this weekend in my Astharoshe Asran cosplay.
This lady is my love and pride. With only a week to make her, she is the most detailed cosplay I have ever made. If I had the time, I would SO made more outfits for her, and it MIGHT happened one time, but right now, you guys will have to do with this outfit.
I hope that you like this picture and more to come!
Just had to do another take with the Forsworn outfit, in the snow. I was only out for about 30 min but I still think it was cold enough! But what don't cosplayers do to get good pictures. (And I seriously don't think the Forsworn armor works very well in the cold climate, no for real, it's super cold!)
Since there was another setting, and kind of another Forsworn, I went for bow and arrow instead of a knife. And different warpaint. I hope you enjoy it.
The costume is handmade by me, some of the props is made by and some bought at a local second hand shop.
Hi there! Thanks for viewing my image. I am the maker of and model of the costume, Nightingale Armor from the video game Elderscrolls V: Skyrim. These lovely photos were taken by the talented Andrew Snucins Photography, www.andrewsnucins.com. The Nightingales are the original concept of Bethesda.
I play Skyrim and as I was wondering what costume to make I decided to just go for my favorite one! My character is always in this armor.
About the costume: I began planning and collecting materials in September 2012. Most of it is sewn out of pleather and vinyl which I then treated with black paint, silver spray paint, hot glue, model magic, and way more black paint. I made the pattern by cutting out pieces of paper and holding them up my body to see if they would be the right size and shape. Then I used those paper pieces to cut out my fabric. Very time consuming as I don't have a dress form. One day I'll get one. I completed the costume 4 months later in December.
