FINALLY. A FREAKING DECENT IMAGE OF SONJA. xD
So I was going to wait until I got the Nightingale Armor to take a screenshot, but I was like, "That's going to take way too long. D|" [I'm very impatient xD] and took it as I started the game.

very tall miscolored Nord, Sonja comes from a long line of warriors, mercenaries, blacksmiths, farmers and bards. Not all at once, obviously...She's a warrior, mercenary, blacksmith and bard. XD
Gormlaith Golden-Hilt is her direct ancestress. That being said, she's also related to Hakon One-Eye. After finding this out in Sovngarde, she added Golden-Hilt as her last nameish thing. (Okay, so I know, it isn't canon. I wanted her to have SOME sort of backstory.) A master thief but a terrible pickpocket, she's stubborn,
tsundere, kind yet very short-tempered. She's terrified of the Draugr and Falmer. Despite being a theif, she refuses to steal from beggars.
Sonja grew up in Elsweyr, with the Khajiit. Her parents were mercenaries that got hired to protect the caravans. She was trying to get into Skyrim, when...Well, you know. xD
Her mother's name is Tyra (nicknamed 'Cat Eyes' for profound night vision), her father's is Bjorn. She has a sister three years younger than her named Eileen, who's a member of the Stormcloak rebellion. Speaking of which, Sonja is neutral in the war; she sides with whoever Balgruuf sides with, and currently, that is nobody.
Champion of Meridia and Azura.
Serana is her friend and traveling companion.
Despite being a thief, she absolutely hates murder and rape. And cannibalism. And taking credit for someone else's work. And racism.

So Sonja Golden-Hilt (age 25) and her younger sister, Eileen Desert-Born (age 22) were tired of guarding the Khajiit caravans, you know? They wanted to chase after the family legacy. So, they left Elsweyr and traveled north to Skyrim, their homeland. But when they got to Skyrim, they were caught up in an Imperial ambush on the Stormcloaks and were mistaken for rebels. At Helgen, right before Sonja's head was cut off, Alduin attacked, giving everyone a chance to escape. But they got separated on accident, and Sonja ended up escaping with Hadvar, Eileen with Ralof. But they met up again in Riverwood. So then the main storyline progresses and they travel together, fighting dragons and Alduin and all that stuffs. Sonja joins the Companions and destroys the Dark Brotherhood.
About a year or so after Alduin is defeated, Eileen's joined up with the Stormcloaks and the College of Winterhold, and the Volkihar vampire clan is becoming a threat. So Sonja and Eileen join up with the Dawnguard to deal with that, somewhere along that line of events meeting and befriending Serana. While she and Sonja are searching the Forgotton Vale for Auriel's Bow, Eileen, dealing with the vampires around Skyrim and doing the College of Winterhold stuff, marries Gunmar and becomes Arch-Mage. Sonja and Serana find the bow, and then Harkon is defeated in one final strike by the Dawnguard.
Then Sonja, fed up with the fame of being the Dovahkiin, flees to Riften with Serana and joins up with the Thieves' Guild, nobody aware that she's Dragonborn. She does the Thieves Guild stuff and becomes a Nightingale. Right before Sonja, Brynjolf and Karliah kill Mercer Frey, Sonja admits that she's the Dovahkiin of legend. Then Mercer Frey is defeated and Sonja marries Brynjolf.
And then the Dragonborn questline pops up but I'm not done with the add-on yet. eue //shot
I'll add more later.
I DON'T OWN SKYRIM. I do, however, own Sonja.
