Sann sat in the little, pink, plastic chair by the window. She looked outside and watched as gusts of wind carried the clouds across the bright, full moon. The window creaked and groaned whenever the enraged wind battered it from outside. To Sann, the roaring of the wind sounded like the shadows were trying to claw their way into the house. Their long, gangling claws sliced at the window, but could not penetrate the glass.
She hated shadows. Sann was scared to death of them. Anything could be lurking inside ready to strike. That's why she sat close to the window, where she could bath in the glow of the moonlight. Safe.

since our end
it's been quite a long while
and the scene has finally gone by
the passing days are cruel
but time has helped me heal
in this town we lived in and loved in
the tomorrow we both wanted parts in
has somehow slipped away
as if the sun has cleared any trace
the hands of the clock
are slowly digging at our scars
and scratching all the pain away
despair i couldn't shake,
relief that covered all of me,
and barely fallen rain;
they're fading
how can i explain
though it pains just like your memory
that somewhere in my heart

"Jack, I said no ball in the hall."
Reminded Jinny with her call
-"But what is it about my ball
that I can’t play with it in the hall?"
Jinny glared at the little clown
"It will turn the hall upside down."
-“Turn upside down? That's a neat trick!
How do you do that? With a kick?"
-"You kick that ball and I'll pull your ear
You can play outside, but never here."
Jinny walked away and left Jack aware
about the ball in the hall, it was no dare.
Jack quickly ran the hall to play outside
but running made his shoelaces untie
He tripped and the ball flew off his hands
It knocked four vases and two table stands
And right after the

I let out a deep breath and look up at him. We're in the living room, snuggled up on the couch with all the lights off. He's running a hand through my short black hair distractedly, like what we're watching on T.V is more important than me. That can happen sometimes, I know, but it's like he would rather be completely engrossed

Fluff Fight Pt. 1The loud scrapping of sharpened metal seemed to muffle the slam of the store's door as a bloody mess stomped right in. The boy at the counter either didn't hear her, or didn't care too much to look up to the girl with a chaotic twist in her smile. Seeing how he didn't even glance up, she attempted to stomp louder in her place, but it didn't help her at all for his attention. Releasing a huff of air and a look of frustration, she tracked the blood dripping from her clothes and hair to the counter and smacked the table with her hands. Barely looking up to her, he wiped the blood from his face nonchaulently that had splattered opon his face becaFluff Fight Pt. 110 months ago in Short Stories More Like This

That SmileMy dearest loveThat Smile9 months ago in Free Verse More Like This
How I mourn for thee
Sleeping on our love nest
That became your death bed
Beautiful tragedy
That's what you were
Sickeningly lovely
Your kindness your downfall
How I wish you would have cared for yourself
As you did me
How I wish I could have known
You were crying for help
But I said nothing
For you were smiling
Always smiling
I know now that that smile was for me
When I cried
When I felt my heart was dying
You were there
With your smile and your touch
But when you felt the same
You just kept that smile
Never a tear
As not to worry me
And now I hold your hand
As it grows weaker and weaker in my grasp

HGOCT: Riven's Training (Part Two)At the Training Center on the second day, Riven didn’t feel as “new” as before. She had gotten up quite early along with Hinge in order to have more time learning, so they ate breakfast together. Riven consumed a relatively huge breakfast of cheesy scrambled eggs and toast and candied apple slices that were a little too sweet for her taste, rinsed it all down with a generous glass of orange juice, and was ready to go.HGOCT: Riven's Training (Part Two)2 months ago in Sketches More Like This

She’d just have to choose, and choose wisely. After a minute’s quick explanation, she split up from Hinge and slowly milled around the huge room, looking at the signs and activities. The Knots station caught her eye, but only because she recognized over half of the handy knots on display. It would be a waste of time to go over that, especially since she already knew so many of them. After the reaping, I sat on the floor of the goodbyes room (At least that’s what I called it.) and held my knees, thinking out-loud. I looked up.
“I don’t get it,” I said to the door. “This isn’t fair at all.”
In truth, it was completely fair. I wouldn’t let myself or my family starve, and I’m the only child. We live in a relatively poor District; Not as poor as 11 or 12 (or so I’ve heard.), but taking out tesserae is still necessary.
“But I promised Holland.” I argued with myself.
After this, I chuckled. Sometimes, in distress, I talked to myself. It was a silly and childish thing to do, but I couldn’t help myself. My thoughts were interrupted by the sound of a door opening. I felt myself choke up when I thought about the events of the next three minutes. Holland stood in the doorway. I swallowed.
“I’m sorry,” I said quietly.
“It isn’t your fault.” He

Still, cool air blew in sweet relief throughout the limbs of random bodies and across flushed, various fluid-drenched faced as icy stars glittered far above the ground, casting a dull light to add to the stage and illuminate the surrounding night just a small amount more. In a fast-paced fashion the long green dyed beams of light ran out in coordinated patterns in a loop over the people, landing upon and illuminating perfect strangers in the crowd for only a moment before flashing to another spot at break-neck speed. Nearly blinding, sure, but it couldn’t much concern the cause of the large-gathered group of screaming, crazed fans as long as it brought in the income much needed to fill their pockets for the next two days or so. Probably. Well, most likely at least.

'Because of you...' - Sneak Peak"Sweet dreams, traitor." Jet black hair was brushed away by a grotesquely deformed hand from the boy's throat, revealing the soft, pale, porcelain-like flesh hidden underneath. "Rest well." An abnormally large, blackened hand threaded it's long fingers through a section of Kurai's hair as he glared with shockingly silver eyes defiantly up at his captor, wrenching his head back with a swift yank, further exposing one of the most typical human weakness that seem to be frequented. "Is that so?" Echoed back his own voice offhandedly in mock interest, ragged and rather hoarse from supplying the vile crimson substance that stained every inch of this room with his own blood that, even now, poured excessively from his wounds. "I guess we don't quite agree then." An older, more matured voice joined the boy's as a dark, clocked figure appeared before the pair.
