Fred & George: A Short Character Analysis
Right, so first off I'm a big fan of the twins: both twins, not just Fred. I've always appreciated both as separate characters and I've never really understood how so many people never picked up on their differences. So I decided to do what I do best - RANT (wayhey!). Keep in mind this is just my own opinion based on what I've read in books 1-7.
In the first place it's important to know and understand the twins' differences, especially if you're writing a story that puts particular focus on them. Yes, both twins are bonkers, fun-loving, flirtatious, stubborn and lest we forget both in the possession of a razor sharp wit. The books may describe them as identical right down to the last freckle, but this doesn't mean that they are one hundred percent identical in personality - no twins are. In fact, if Fred and George were the same they wouldn't make such a good team. Fred and George are a perfect double act and in any double act you
Mistaken Chapter 1: JoyI couldn't believe my luck when I opened the letter from Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Inside held my letter for my new assigned books but the light gleaming off my new Head Girl badge made me feel punch-drunk with giddiness. I stared at the badge for a good minute before reason found me. My legs carried me down the stairs as fast they could without tripping.Mistaken Chapter 1: Joy4 years ago in Introductions & Chapters More Like This
"Mom Dad, it came. My letter came in", I yelled to my poor surprised parents.
My mom put down the plate of toast on the table and reached for the envelope and took out my book list.
"Oh Hermione, are you sure you are not taking too many classes?"
Her question stopped my gleefulness short as I ran through what classes I had this semester through my head.
"No, mom I do not think so. Besides Professor McGonagall told me it would be possible to pull off the load. Besides, it is my last year and there is still so much to learn about the magical world."
My dad walked over to my mom to check out the list for himself.
Harry and Ginny" Harry" whispered a gentle voice in Harry's ear. It was a voice he recognised immediately it was also a voice he had craved to hear during his hunt for the horcruxes.Harry and Ginny5 years ago in General Fiction More Like This
"Ginny" Harry muttered back there was so much tenderness and love in his voice that Ginny turned a shade of red that clashed horribly with her hair. She perched herself on the end of Harry's bed.
"Get dressed anyway you have to come and see everyone" Ginny said returning to her normal pale shade "by everyone I mean Mum, Dad, Bill, Fleur, Charlie, George, Ron and Hermione". Ginny looked as though she was ablout to burst into tears which was very rare for Ginny, Then Harry remembered the reason for her sadness, there was a name missing from her list, Fred, had been killed during the final battle, along with Tonks, Lupin, Colin Creevey and about sixty others, Harry sat up in his bed, and wrapped his arms around the girl he loved, he pressed his face into her flowery scented hair and took a deep breath. Twilight vs. Harry PotterBefore I begin I would like to clarify that I'm not either a crazy Harry Potter fan or a Twihard. I've read both series and being completely honest I loved the Harry Potter series. But when I read the Twilight series I didn't think it was that good as people make it out to be. And when I heard someone say that Twilight is better than Harry Potter I felt inspired to make a comparison and show that Harry Potter far more superior than Twilight. For those who love Twilight to deathTwilight vs. Harry Potter3 years ago in Short Stories More Like This
(YES THE TWIHARDS. YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE!)
And don't agree with what I wrote, its my opinion. I'm allowed to say what I believe just like you're allowed to express your love and devotion for Twilight. With that being said I hope you enjoy.
In the Harry Potter books everything and everyone with rich detail. All characters of the series have their unique description of

No words can do justice to the grief of the king and queen as they clasped their lifeless daughter's body to their hearts and would not allow anyone else close.
So it was left up to Partené to tend to Erib and see to it that he was carried down to his room and looked after by the royal doctor. She feared he would not make the night- but she would make sure he received a hero's burial.
At last she returned to the weeping monarchs and asked quietly if she could examine Imogen's body. Reluctantly, they agreed and she had to prise the limp princess from her parents' numb fingers. Imagine their surprise when the high priestess informed them that she was not dead!
But the news was worse- Seleske had not had time to drain Imogen to a withered husk and the wounds in her neck had begun to seal, swallowing the vampire's venom from her ruby lips into the princess' blood stream.
"She has entered the death-sleep," Partené informed them grimly, "she will not wake for a hundred years. It takes a cent

"Alright, forget them. You trust me, don't you?"
You continued down the hall, finding it came to a dead end. "What the...? Damn labyrinth..."
You patted the walls down, checking carefully for any of those hidden openings, and then you heard Loki's voice back down the way you had come. "Loki?" You looked up, and saw him disappear at the tree trunk room, so you went back that way and walked right in.

I am sick and tired of hearing about this Harry Potter versus Twilight thing. The books and authors have nothing in common, except that they are well known and quite popular amongst many people. However even then it is stupid to compare the two. I first saw this comparison when they set up a section in our school library with a board that said If you love Stephenie Meyer, youll love and had a bunch of retarded vampire books underneath (All retarded but with the exception of Vampirates. Theyre vampire pirates. How much more awesome can you get?). There was a newspaper clipping of an article calling Meyer the new J.K. Rowling. By that time I had already read the three books that were out and I was like WUT?! I thought that the Twilight books were good but very overall mediocre and completely different to Harry Potter in every way. Comparing them seemed absolutely ludicrous. Since then my opinion of the books has gone

Copper fought off another wave of nausea as she watched the digital image of the mercenary fighter flip end over end, and disappear from the electronic gun sight. She'd never fired at a target in space before, and found out instantly it was a whole different ball game with more velocity and a myriad of attack angles not found when engaging targets planet-side. It didn't help that the weapon she was using was a dorsal mount 2 13/50, with a slow tracking director, that wasn't designed to do much more than look vaguely menacing. Still, she'd managed to score at least one solid hit on the little fighter, apparently causing enough damage to dampen the pilot's enthusiasm and send him retreating back to Marawayne.

It is true when they say her hair is white as snow, her eyes dark as coals; her face pale as Death. It is true that she is as old as the mountains; that she has as many names as the stars have, and how a cloak of white rabbits falls over her shoulder.
It is also true what they speak of her serpent mirror, Ouroboros, the never-ending silver chain. Mirrors never lie, but neither can they be trusted, for mirrors are the trickiest of all magical objects. There are children in Her mirror; those who strayed too far from the forest path and found the white haired Queen with her empty eyes sitting lonely beside the glass; those who stepped through the mirror chasing dreams and flickering lights, dancing all the way. And behind the glass they remain, their hearts and names, and souls stolen away in a jar for the Winter Queen and her mirror to consume, for that is how she survives the tick-tick-ticking of the clock, for a

When we were small, my brothers and I, Daddy would sometimes take us to visit her. We would sit there at her kitchen table, amazed, as this woman with no eyes – and indeed no nose or mouth – would pour out our tea without spilling a drop.
I was frightened of her because she looked so strange, so grotesque. All the other days of my life, I encountered people with faces – square faces, oval faces, faces round and smiling like the moon with slanted eyes or big dark ones or little beady bird eyes. Snub noses, Romans or long, thin, birdlike ones like mine. Yet here was a woman with none of that or any of the faculties that come with those organs.
As a little girl, I dreaded our visits to the faceless woodcarver. But now that I've grown up I miss most all the memories of my childhood, even the somewhat unpleasant ones, so I sometimes let them wander through my mind even when they aren't invited. So I remember the woodcarv

1-Characters. There are hundreds of characters in the HP series. The ones that we are all familiar with can easily be compared to a real person, and each develops during the years. They each have differing personalities and physical characteristics, and are very realistic. And unlike the Twilight characters, they also have flaws and quirks, which make them much more believable than the Twilight guys. Take Neville Longbottom, for example. When we first meet him, he's a bumbling, nervous, clumsy little kid who can't seem to do anything right. After a while, he then develops into this strong, steady character who's previous and serious lack of self-confidence has disappeared, making way for the courage, daring, talent and wit that he seemed to nervous to release in the early years. Now the characters thems

Soon, the rain was pouring and people were disappearing. The gloomy, melancholy rain sucked away the color, painting a dreary gray scale portrait of loneliness. I walked alone in the streets, the rain still heavy on my skin. I was bereft of shelter and an umbrella. I put on my hood and looked down, shrugging off the heavy downpour.
Then she came along.
A technicolor sprite in my monochrome world, rekindling the life and light in her surroundings with a brilliant spark. We sang together despite the rain. She hadn't a care in the world and she was so vibrant. Her gaze gave me warmth, she empowered me.
Unfortunately, she had to leave. She had to return to a place unreachable, to a place in the skies, to her own kaleidoscopic realm, leaving me once again alone in this pastel world, where the colors will never be as bright as when she was with me.

There was the voice again. I stepped forward cautiously, my foot landing in something soft and cold. 'Wait, this isn't an empty place...' My bare foot was enveloped in white, fluffy snow, with what looked like frost creeping slowly up my leg in a fern-like pattern. 'But, isn't it the middle of summer?' I thought, pulling my foot out of the snow. "Zoe, would you wake up already? Stop spending your vacation in bed!" My bedroom door burst open as my younger sister, Eden, demanded my awakening. "Fine, fine! I'm up!" I shouted at her, glaring as I awoke. She made a triumphant face, then slammed the door shut and trod down the stairs. So, I’m sure everyone is familiar with, or at least has heard of, the popular show titled ‘My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic’ right? Well, I myself don’t know much about it, but my best friend is a big fan.
He wanted me to become a fan of the show as well, because he said that the show has good morals and is pretty funny; despite its original intended audience being little girls. While I don’t enjoy it people trying to make me like something, he’s my best friend, so I thought I’d take his word for it.
This all happened when I was walking home from school with him though, so of course while we were walking he couldn’t exactly send me a link. He said that he would send me a link when he got home. After we parted ways, it was only a short walk home for me.
When I got home, I checked my computer to see if he had sent me a link; his house was a bit farther than mine, and he hadn’t sent me the link because he hadn’t gotten home ye
