The first one of a series. I've decided to get back on doing 1 hour movie still studies.
It's a great training for the eye. More will follow, I'm always open for movie suggestions :)

Yes, her name means grey leaf, but I thought it doesn't necessarily mean that she was a blonde or something. And so drawn to her a silver-salmon color dress.

Bombur the dwarf, from The Hobbit An Unexpected Journey. I've loved The Hobbit since I was very young, so I thought these characters would be cool to draw. I like the character designs for this movie trilogy, and even though some of them are a bit different from the ideas given in the book, I still think it was a cool direction to go in. Will be doing all 13 dwarves in this style, and probably Bilbo too, I'm sure.

Sketched in 2H pencil. Coloured with various paints and inked with black indian ink and brush. Cropped and touched up in GIMP ('Cos my scanner screwed up the colours a little).

Be sure to check out the other dwarves!
