The job isn't anything super special. I kinda wish it was, but it isn't. Just a simple job at a fast food joint. First job, even.
Want to hear the bad news? I didn't know when I was supposed to go into work.... So, I ended up not going (by accident) on a day I was scheduled to work. :iconfacepalmplz: at myself. And I had just gotten the job, too. I don't want to get fired, honest to goodness, but I have a feeling... it may inevitably happen. Okay, I'm jumping the gun here. Aren't people generally lenient to a new first-time first-job employees? I sure hope so.... Because I'm not gonna get any sympathy/ Empathy from my parents. Only a few know about the Veilians, I believe, and I think I've developed them enough to tell you all about them and the story I have so far. . c:
Basically, the Veilians are an alien species, native to the planet Vale. They're beings of energy, able to manipulate it and such, and have different sorts of abilities.
Their 'skin' is metallic-ish in appearance, and close to insect's chitinous exoskeletons, but much more flexible. It isn't extraneously hard for one of their own kind to crack it, because of their enhanced strength. Veilians are physically superior to humans, but average among their own kind. Their 'blood' is a special energy unique to their species and wildlife. They are creatures of energy; they still harbor organs such as lungs, a heart, brain, stomach, bones, muscle etc., but they function entirely different to the way humans' do. They still have the same purpose, but using energy instead of blood.
Misunderstanding about nocturne agethis is on the new ref sheet, but here it is again: Nocturnes live to be about 80 years only max. They reach sexual maturity in the early teens, and reach full adult size (7-8 feet tall) at about 20 years. What I make are very small amigurumi, minigurumi of a sort, microgurumi even- but very detailed. They are perfect size for keychains, cellphone charms, or just having a super cute little plush. I can make almost anything under the sun. Food, pokemon, instruments, anime characters, animals, you name it and I can make it, 98.73% of the time.

So about 2 or 3 weeks ago, I managed to pick up (by pure chance) a Cintiq 21UX from B&H that was in stock. (For those who don't know, it's damn near impossible to find the 21UX in stock at just about any store you can think of. This is because the 21UX is a very niche product and makes up so little of the demand for the already tiny graphic tablet market. It's manufactured in such small numbers, it's on a near to-order basis, so you can wait up to 1 or 2 months to receive one after ordering.) So being the only one in stock at B&H, I knew I had to take it and upgrade from my 3-year old 12WX.

The immature version of a barbary drake (adults coming soon), they're so named for their barbarous nature (mind your fingers). Barbaries are voracious eaters, and when full grown quite capable of tackling prey larger than itself (mind you there isn't too much larger than a full grown barbary). Hatchlings display a wide variety of colour patterns, often in outrageous combinations. These bright, distinctive pelts are thought to advertise the immature drake's venomous nature to any would-be predators. I found a prime example of this in a forum for artists seeking work. The thread title was „Starting-out artist looking for a chance",, and the thread told that the artist is „looking for a client for whom I may draw" and has „just graduated from art college".

Whoops, sorry. I thought deviantART had a username-change system, but it doesn't. Looks like you'll have to start over and make a new account! Transfer your faves and the people you watch, because you need a good username if you want to be taken seriously here, and making a new account is the only option for now.
Make sure not to choose the name of an anime character and a bunch of random numbers as your username (naruto12345), choose one that's easy to remember and defines your person. Because seriously, who chooses a random word and random numbers as their username?
