I don't own these characters! This story is SasuNaru with Naru being a girl because I don't think it would make sense otherwise. Naru is still going to be Naruto, not Naruko because I hate that name! If you don't like it don't read it!!
A wolf pack could be seen from a distance and to humans, it was a normal gathering and a normal pack of wolves but to the other animals of the forest, even the other wolves, that was not the case. This pack of wolves in particular was the Uchiha pack, one of the strongest packs in the forest and none would dare mess with them when they were angry or do anything to make them angry for that matter. None were that stupid, especially today. The Uchiha pack was celebrating the birth of another of their leader's pups. It was a glorious day as usually the leader of the pack only ever had one pup at a time. They all howled in joyous congratulations when the young pup awoke, of course, it's eyes were still closed and would b

We raise our voices to her;
The Full Moon smiles.
Running beneath her,
Not once do we go awry
With her guiding help.
Never fails to bring sweet change
From twilight to Night.
Her glee at making
Us, eternal servants, hunt;
She sees everything.
But we cannot stop
Time from passing, its just life.
Light is hesitant--
But only at first.
Before we know it, the sun
Has taken back rule.
His rule of the sky,
Just as Lunas, is never
Lasting, a promise.
A commitment to
All to return, as Night falls;
Eager, we await it.

"Through the Jungle very softly flits a shadow and a sigh" The Song of the Little Hunter by Rudyard Kipling
The new day saw Maska wandering alone without any destination, at least not at first. He had not met with his father again, not imagined that the wolf had not yet left and that he was alone on his favorite hill, taking the time to reflect not on more pressing plans of combat, but rather on the recent times of his troubled life, or rather, that of his family, more and more broken with the passing of days. Perhaps, now, time was the enemy of which he had a greater fear. Xan, for the role he had, was a relatively young age if compared to that of Mahkan and the Head of the Tundra's packs, which had already passed the youth of their years some springs ago. However, you could not deny the fact that Xan was a brilliant strategist, as much as the rest of them, if not more so, since he had suffered the greatest number of attacks and c
Wolf Pack Part 1 August took off, dirt flying from under his paws. The smell was not old. It was fresh. Very fresh. The pack did not know, could not know, the danger they were in. He was the only one... The smell was overpowering. So close. So close... He shifted his weight to his left paw, leaning into the last bend to explode into the camp.Wolf Pack Part 16 years ago in Fantasy More Like This
The wolf skidded to a halt, nearly careening into a pile of rubble. Jumping back, August glanced around. Any scent of the pack was quite stale, if not gone entirely. The wide cave that had stood there before had been reduced to a mass of broken stone, snapped treelings, and bones. The StonePool that had connected to Snake River was blocked away, and dry.
Lowering his head, he began to sniff for one of the pack's scent trails. Snake River held none, not that he had expected it to. "Water never holds, that's why we camp near it." he mumbled. The cave smelled only of death, of o

Throughout the lone years, Kent has been very worried about the fate of his mother. Her cry had sounded awful and he feared she had been killed by her own mate. He felt guilty whenever he thought of it and would blame himself for the possible death of his mother. Sometimes he tried to think she was still alive, but usually his thoughts turned negative again. He could not imagine his father Mingan would have ever forgiven her for having taken care of him.
It was two winters later ever since he had left his birth pack. Kent had fled from his family far away, out of North Carolina. He had spent the majority of his life running, masking his scent and a few times he was forced to fly across dangerous rivers. His scent should be untraceable if his brothers and father had planned to go after him. He rarely took breaks and his sleeping pattern was weird ever since he returned to drinking blood of his prey, which he hadn’t been allowed to from his mother. Sometimes he wa

I laughed at another funny comment by Marvel about Glimmer, allowing myself to push his arm slightly. It was very amusing to hear what he had to say about her, since he knew her before the Games. Even then he didn't like her. She was always talking about boys and meaningless things. It's a wonder she could hold up a bow, let alone shoot with it! But Marvel said she was very skilled with the bow and I believed him. He showed his work when we saw Glimmer and Cato practicing their shooting skills. She was almost as skilled as Cato. I was impressed, but that feeling was replaced with disgust when her arrow hit another target perfectly and she rubbed her back against Cato's chest. My lunch was about to leave my stomach, but I noticed Cato looking at us again and held it together. Marvel took my arm and literally dragged me to his favorite place the spear-throwing station. He was very good at it and I made a note to myself not to get on his bad side when there's a spear near by. But I

You will remember the blood
And we will be here once more
When the noonday sun
Specks the silent plow with diamonds
You shall think of bayonets
And screams that tore as they fell
When your children run among the grasses
Shining ethereal in the twilight
You shall think of ghosts
And of ghost children that never were
The world has forgotten us
The earth will not forget

The stars are heart-shaped, and the oceans embrace the sun,
there's poetry growing on the trees, its sweet rhyming words blowing in the breeze.

where your laughter in echoes in mountains, oceans and sands,
where lovers walk on water and fly to the skies,
and time's measured in hearbeats and sighs.

I think I have moved on like there is nowhere I belong,
Ive forgotten the meaning of a kiss, like it meant the taste of your lips
I think of sunshine, but I imagine an eclipse.
I know life will bring more, like leaving me behind a closed door,
I'll survive every pain, like dying every night was not a fun game,
I stay awake in sleep, like I have more promises to keep.
I believed every word you said, like beautiful lies didn't exist.
Heartache is only imaginary, like I'm begging for a cure,
its not like you're never happy again, like I can recall the last time I was,
it hurts but its not the end of the world, like there is more to lose?
life is not just about 'love', like love is all there is to life.

Greedy the way the tax man ripped the poor man's home away, leaving him depressed and alone and beaten. The rising sun saw the two wolf cubs outside of the den even before Hurit, who usually got up at dawn to spend some time with her mate, and then would come back to them, sweet and affectionate as ever.
"Hello, dad!" Dyami greeted him cheerfully, passing between his paws.
"Dyami!" Mahkan called to him surprised, and ran over to the pup.
"Hi, Daddy!" came Aquene next.
The wolf turned his eyes, even more amazed, and lowered his head from its majestic pose toward his daughter who affectionately put her front paws on his muzzle and rubbed against it with her pointed nose.
"See you later," she greeted him, running after her brother.
Mahkan sat, watching them run towards the Great Meadow with a smile, somewhat sad and nostalgic at the same time.
"What's wrong, Mahkan?" Hurit asked coming up beside him.
The leader of the pack remained motionless for a moment before quickly turning to face his mate.
"Hmm ... What?"
"Are you starting to feel old?" Hurit laughed.

You were the only thread
that bound the button over my heart.
Through the eyes of a child everyday
was an adventure--an unending start.
You would never stay,
like all child dreams--there was an end.
Our TV show in its first season lost syndication,
there were no more friends with time to spend.
Every night I'd show my dedication--
in Pokemon cards scattered across the floor
intermixed with yellowed yearbook pages;
photos of our friendship before.
My grief came in stages--
Eye-fountains cascaded on the letter
I received months prior,
Widdled button-cloth, worn leather.
Nights passed with one prayer:
A hope to hear a phone call or see a letter in the mail.
thick underbrush hid our friendship.
You stopped writing letters
so I stopped the endless cycle.
I stopped writing letters
and started writing poetry.
2. The Return
You came back into my life
like an unexpected rainforest downpour--
quenching moisture on parched soil

When you can physically feel your anguish?
When you feel like something is dead?
Ever wished you were somehwere else,

When you wish so hard its painful?
And your eyes are forced to bleed?
Ever been so in love,

When instead of jumping, you fall?
Ever been so adolescent,
that you can't handle what you feel?
When you feel like your falling apart?
When the pain you feel is real?
It's too real. And it hurts.

There I stand
Waiting for the rise and fall of your chest
But the movement doesn't come.

And we laugh and the tears stop
And all goes back to normal
But the shout doesn't come.
So I try so hard
To swallow my tears
Wanting so bad
To swallow my pride
But the water doesn't come
I bow my head
For the first time in my life
I pray that you get a spot in paradise
And that I may see you again someday.
But I know that day won't come.
