I made this necklace for a friend who just went through surgery to cheer her up. It’s also a winter solstice present. Killing two birds with one stone!

PearlEx mica powder (to make it sparkly!)

My second large necklace and fake gauge earring set. This is the largest necklace I've ever made. It is about 5 1/2 inches long and 3 1/2 inches wide. Easily the size of my hand. I got a little carried away~ Some tentacle bling, that's for sure!

But as always, it was light weight and I believe the chain I chose for it brings the whole piece together. It was a blast to make, but a pain to glaze! Haha. I decided to work on blending the clays togehter in what is known as a Skinner Blend and am happy with the results.

I love this color combination so much! Probably because it's painful to look at.

This necklace was made for ALA and is one of only two pieces that didn't sell. Maybe I'll put it up on Etsy? I almost want to keep it... That's why I have to force myself to go to cons and sell things. I would keep them all!
