A lot of people have been asking for the tutorial to make my :happybounce:  Moon Crater Cuff Bracelet :happybounce:  so here it is.

Starts with a copper pipe you can get at the hardware store. I've used 1/2" and 3/4" so far. On the picture is the 3/4" one. I think it's plenty thick already. Any thicker it would be much harder to curve to a useable bracelet. Don't limit yourself to the pattern I used here. You can basically strike your hammer anywhere you want on the pipe.

This is a technique that I developed after learning Charles Lewton-Brain's Chased Wedge T- fold

Have fun!

So I finally finished it! Sorry for the wait guys. :la: I know a billion (approx. estimate) people asked me to do this, and I've had the pictures taken for it forever, I just was waiting for a quiet moment away from commissions to finish it.

I hope I explained things well enough, and as always if you have questions I'll be happy to help. But please make sure you read over it carefully before asking a question, or scan the comments real quick to see if someone else asked it and I answered them. :3

And yes, you DO need translucent clay for the realistic clear effect. White clay will work if you do not want it to look realistic. Translucent clay can be found where all the other clay can be found. It's sort of a weird off-white color. A picture of it is in the tutorial.

If you want it to be shiny you must glaze it with a polymer clay glaze. I forgot to mention that in the tutorial. :3 I use Sculpey Gloss.

IF YOU USE THIS, PLEASE LINK BACK TO ME so other people can learn too! Also please show me what you create! I'd love to see your creations. :3 If you want to see work people have done inspired by my tutorials check here: [link]

If you want to buy some rock candy necklaces from me, you can check these out! I would also be more than happy to do a custom color for you, just ask. :la:
