New BeginningsSlumping branches line the street,New Beginnings2 years ago in Traditional Fixed Forms More Like This
The deafening sound of silence creeps.
No more shall the daytime creatures play,
Nor the autumnal colors greet the day.
For every season must come to an end;
Moving us along the evanescent bend
Of a new dawn; a time of new beginnings,
When everybody will collect their winnings.
For winter is coming.
Winter is here.

We never were,
So why trust?
The lies unfold
Crisp and new,
So tell me why
I trusted you.
Your days of fun
Are long since gone,
So get your things
Off my front lawn.
You broke my heart
Not once, but twice,
So let's not make this
A game of thrice.

five-stars, first class suffering.
In my arteries there is acid instead of blood,
I'm in delicious luxury pains.
Darkness is beautiful, craziness is sacred,
dirt is shining, Baudelaire is God,
Marilyn Manson is an archangel.
You're the centre of my craziness,
everything is going around you.
that is a slow death on fire.

This nefarious place
To feel her loving grace
A servant to the world
I can no longer call home
Cause I am not a person
Only an emotionless drone
I've prayed for redemption
For the many fruitless years
That I've spent without
The ones I once held dear
The people snicker at me
For my many attempts
At finding the one
The Heaven sent
If I save her
I will be free
But will I be sad
Or filled with glee?
For the night still calls
All who dwell
Within the walls
Of this eternal Hell.
A Truck Drivers WifeI have been privileged,A Truck Drivers Wife5 months ago in Free Verse More Like This
To hold in my life,
The title that’s known
As a truck driver’s wife.
Now, women all know
Being married is rough.
But, marry a trucker,
And then let’s talk tough!
The miles that they run,
And, the job that they do,
Gives us grey hairs,
And fries our nerves too.
And when they get lonely,
And call up the house,
Who’s there for ‘em to turn to?
it ain’t Mickey Mouse!
But, through all the turmoil,
The stress, struggle, and strife,
Those men appreciate
The finer things in life,
And they’ll thank their lucky stars
For a truck drivers wife!

My father always told me that there's more to life
but how could you ever breathe
when your lungs feel collapsed
and your heart feels like a battle wound
because you can never feel again?
I always tried to believe in myself
because I knew I was a fighter
since I never had a chance to be anything else.
I always had to wash your scars off for you
and be your little solider
as you cried in my arms
because you said that you lost your heart in the war.
It always killed me when you cried,
I'll never be the same again.
You always pleaded the words ''please be better than me''
like they were a part of a broken song
that came from right inside your heart,
but all you ever wanted
was for me to not be like a shadow of you.
This life is full of nothing but hurt.
You always told me
that I was growing up to be more like you every day,
and you were always afraid
because you said that you never wanted me to have your mind.
I was growing more insane by t

but I'm slowly breaking apart.
I never knew that life was like a game,
press one wrong button
and you'll be broken forever.
I've had enough of you,
but I can never let you go.
You've always owned my heart,
I might as well just save myself before I drown.
You may as well just forget me
because I'm just another chord to a broken song.
