There was a time when a man named Siegfried Schtauffen took control of the Soul Edge, becoming powerless under the power of the blade. He eventually was able to retrieve his mentality and used the power of the holy blade Soul Calibur in order to save his body. He was separated from his Nightmare form and became the new wielder of Soul Calibur, while Inferno made a pact with Zasalmel, who made him a new body of his own. Thus Nightmare was born

She opened her eyes, and saw that the Enderman had backed away slightly, and was now holding out a hand to help her up. The blond stared. What... Why on earth? In utter confusion, she grabbed it's hand and let out a yelp as it hoisted her to her feet with ease and held out the diamond block she'd abandoned when she'd run away. But why? Fleet tilted her head and took the block, looking into the Enderman's eyes. It stared back and seemed to quiver a little, but it could still move. Why? Just... Why?
The answer was because it liked those big bright blue eyes, and the shiny hair. The Enderman wondered whether or not the hair was soft. Fleet didn't understand why it was staring at her hair... Did it want to pet her or someth- Her question was answered as it raised it's hand to her head and ran it through her short hair. It sent a small shock through her, jolting her body. It was indeed soft, and the Enderman could detect a

It was the summer of 1957, and the night was calm and warm. The storm clouds from earlier were now just a few harmless puffs on the horizon, but the air still held a faint scent of sweet rain. A light breeze danced through the woods just outside of town, rustling the leaves of the oaks and maples and birches. And within these woods were two travelers, seemingly following some unseen path through the growth.
Come on, its just a little bit farther, called the man in the lead. He had short, scruffy, sandy brown hair and wore large, squarish glasses over his big sky blue eyes. He picked his way through the thick underbrush with an air of someone who had done it many time before. The woman behind him, however, wasnt having the same amount of luck.
I sure hope this it worth it, Will! shouted the petite Asian woman as she pulled her shirt free of another branch. I dont know how mu
FiM: Mort Takes a Holiday 7Rarity sat huddled on the dressing room floor, sniffling as she beheld the task before her. On one side of her were the shoulder pads with their frayed tassels, the diamond-studded buttons and a single, chipped ruby. With them were over two dozen pieces of torn fabric, sewed together and arranged in a way that they were beginning to resemble a sleeve. Rarity found some solace in the fact the gold thread helped her know where to start, like the round edges of a jigsaw puzzle.FiM: Mort Takes a Holiday 74 years ago in General Fiction More Like This
But it was of little comfort, as the other side of her showed; there lay the rest of the suit, haphazardly piled. She levitated two pieces from the pile and brought them in front of her, bringing them together. She looked at them intently (or as well as she could, given her eyes would water still), swapping their positions, rotating them in place, going through every possible combination. When it became clear they didn't fit with one another, she groaned in a small, miserable voice, and threw one of the pieces back

During Cybertron's Golden Age of peace, an elite few served as the guardians of Cybertron's accumulated knowledge. Among these data clerks was Optronix. A low-level operator who sought to replace those above him, Optronix turned his research skills to finding methods of manipulation. Eventually, he rose to prominence; however, when his activities were uncovered, he was removed from service and left purposeless. Deep in his Ember though, Optronix believed he was best fit to lead Cybertron. He hungered for power and through his studies, he determined that military might was the only way to achieve his goals. Preaching a philosophy of destruction and conquest, he eventually began re-engineering his body as well
FiM: Mort Takes a Holiday 8Mort's reasoning for avoiding crowds was two-fold. For starters, he didn't feel comfortable in crowds, or rather, he didn't feel comfortable being visible in crowds. Plagues or fires were one thing, as there was a clear goal in what he had to do, and the recently departed almost always asked the same questions every time. They had become, more or less, a predictable affair.FiM: Mort Takes a Holiday 84 years ago in General Fiction More Like This
Living crowds, on the other hoof, he had no idea on where to even begin. There was no clear cut purpose, no specific goal. Some ponies stood to the sidelines, enjoying the beverages and treats, some sought out particular ponies, some jumped in conversations in progress, and some just moved through the crowds, hoping somepony else would speak with them. It was terribly disorganized, and for someone who had lived according to a strict schedule for his whole existence, he had a hard time seeing how one could enjoy it.
Parties, concerts, celebrations, festivals, carnivals...it was one thing to watch them.

Much to Twilight's chagrin, Dewdrop Dazzle was not gone the next day. Nor the next. Not even the next. The new arrival had divided her time between constantly following Twilight about with a constant barrage of questions; and vanishing off into Ponyville without a word. Despite the peace and quiet, Twilight had found Dewdrop's absences to be even more worrying than when she was hanging about the house.
This was one such moment. Dewdrop had skipped out of the house at the earliest possible moment, not that Twilight had complained. However, the thought of what the strange blue pony could be up to had been gnawing away at Twilight's mind, and so she eventually decided to venture into the town to track down her 'guest'.
The sky was still littered with grey clouds, but patches of blue was breaking through, and the air was fresh and crisp as Twilight wandered through Ponyville. Dewdrop was nowhere to be found. Perhaps she

Mera lay draped over a large tree branch enjoying the heat of the summer day. Her tongue flicked lazily in and out and she sighed contentedly. She had recently shed her old skin, and as she shimmered in the bright sunlight she flattered herself that there was not a better looking serpent in the jungle on this day. Her belly was full as well, and there were few things that added more to her contentment than a recently ingested meal, especially one of this size.
"Mom! Mom! Where are you?" cried a voice from below.
A heavy and less contented sigh escaped Mera then. She wondered if she could stay hidden up here, or if Sylla would find her? Slowly she eased her head over the branch to survey the ground below. With the new meal in her, Mera knew she'd be too slow to escape her adopted daughter this time. She sighed again.
The past ten years had flown by...like a rock. Her

As the royal carriage passed through the intricate city gates, a group of young fillies smiled and bowed. Celestia gave a slight wave, acknowleding the fillies' respect, and once more the carriage was off, heading for the palace.
'My sister's subjects... No, our subjects,' she reminded herself. 'My, this is going to take a while to get used to again... What if they don't like me?'

She'd been belly dancing for seven years now, and at the encouragement of a friend, had decided to one day try working a snake into her routine. That day had come when she'd seen this particular python for sale. The thing was practically being given away, and sure she would never see a deal like that again, Aliyah bought it without hesitation. She still remained slightly apprehensive however. The whole thing seemed just a little too good to be true. Not to mention she was alone in the studio, but that was her own doing. Though a professional belly dancer, Aliyah rem

believe our God exists.
You cannot stay in a state of lacking belief in God. After all, my dog doesn't believe in God, either, but she's not an atheist. To state that you simply don't believe is not sufficient. There must be a reason. On a similar note, I don't believe "blind faith" is sufficient either. I don't just "believe" in God, I have reasons for my beliefs. Either you have accepted the idea of God, or you have rejected it.
So what is the cause for your rejection? What is the basis that you found this view on? When put under speculation, is it adequate? Is it flawed? Is it subjective? This first section of my "essay" deals with reasons you might have for rejecting that our God exists, and refuting them.
I believe there is no God because . . .
1. There's no proof.
That statement is subjective. I'm probably going to use this word a lot, so here's a quick definition: subjective means biased or one-s

The sky is dark over the Everfree forest. There are stars that shine in the air, but they do not glitter. They seem painted on, mainly for show. They seem slightly wrong. Even the moon, caught between half and crescent as it wanes in time and fades away, seems strangely artificial, with a shape too bulky, and craters too big.
The Everfree forest seems natural enough, darkened to near blackness as it is, but it is strangely without sound. There is wind, as it blows at Force Three or Four, tugging at every branch and leaf, whistling as they undulate in the breeze. But the animals are absent. Nature seems silenced. As if all that grew, moved, thought and ate were at some secret place of worship. Or if they had fled from some great, powerful force of destruction.
A few leaves individually flit between the trees. Was that a rabbit, darting behind the tree? The grass bends and sways.
Then comes the step. Water parts and leaps, in the wake of the ste

Twilight sat at the bottom of that dark pit cradling Dewdrop's body for what seemed like an eternity, though it couldn't have been longer than a few seconds. She shook constantly, sobbing into Dewdrop's matted, dusty hair.
"You stupid, silly pony" she whispered hoarsely to Dewdrop as she held her in her hooves, though she wasn't sure if she'd aimed that at Dewdrop or herself. Her head was awash with angry, guilty thoughts, her stomach was a boiling maelstrom and she wanted to be sick.
"There's no such thing as 'evil'" Princess Luna had once told her. "No pony gets up one morning and decides that they're going to go out and do bad things. They do bad things thinking that they're the most reasonable and logical reactions to a situation." Was it true? Had Twilight really gone too far? Was it more than just a terrible accident?
Not even Princess Luna in her darkest of hours had ever killed another pony. It was unheard of. Inconceivable.

I'm done with all the gossiping and the bitching,
The back-stabbing and the gender-switching
Between people who pretend they're something
They're not.
I'm getting out of the fandom;
I'm sick of its porn and its gore,
Its darker side and its desire for more
To join the herd of egotistical pricks
Like them.
I'm tired of this fandom;
I'm bored by endless proverbs and morals,
By the puffed-up glands of internet quarrels
Of who loves and tolerates in greater amounts
And wins.
I've had it with this fandom;
I'm hateful towards drama and exaggeration,
Towards those who react to every situation
That comes about and fucks with their next
Great idea.
I've given up with this fandom;
I'm leaving DeviantArt and deactivating my account,
Leaving behind my reputation and getting out
Of this mess of a culture of childish
Well, I'm still in this fandom;
I decided to give it another shot,
Because without the bitching and the clop

When the bombs fell and the giant steel door rolled into place and was driven in by the mechanical arm, it broke. The sun rose over Sugarcube Acres, illuminating its shining structures and reflecting its radiance off the jewel set eyes of the proud statue of Princess Luna, standing in the New Lunar Republican Quarter. The morning light passed through the window of the local inn, falling upon the face of the slumbering pegasus pony therein.

She turned in bed and attempted to sleep facing away from the window, but the damage was already done, and her pounding skull wouldn't allow her to return to her sleep. She opened her eyes to greet the new day only to find the entirety of her vision taken up with the slumbering face of her slumbering partner, Dreamcatcher A colt!

Twilight had woken early the next morning just as the sun was rising. She had managed to sneak out of the house without Dewdrop waking up, or so she had hoped. Ponyville looked beautiful as the sun reflected off the glistening water left from last night's storm, but Twilight had no time to appreciate it. She was on a mission.
Carefully making sure she wasn't followed, Twilight had trekked to the far outskirts of Ponyville, to a mountainous, treacherous region just outside of the Whitetail Woods known locally as the 'Rocky Mountains' despite technically being a collection of rocky hills. Ponies generally never ventured this far out there was nothing interesting for miles save for craggy rocky spires and stony mounds where nothing would grow. It was here that she lifted the spade she had brought and began digging.
The ground was hard, and even though Twilight was using her magic to lift the spade, it still took a good few hours until she

Luna hadn't been kidding about Salt Lick City. The place was a filthy slum. The constant sunshine only served to accentuate this, revealing every filth ridden corner, every graffiti spattered wall, every disgusting detail standing out sharply in the constant midday sun. The filth that seemed to cover every inch of the city was alien to Moxi's idea of what a city was supposed to be, but not the main difference gnawing at her, there was something far more off about this town than the simple dark nature of its sunlit streets.
"Where is everypony?" Moxi spoke up as she and Dreamcatcher walked down a main street which was nearly completely deserted of ponies. A stark contrast to the constant bustling nature of Manehattan.

Sweet little pony: cream, chestnut and blue
Yearns to be strong and brave and true.
Learns from his teachers, their patience and trust,
Lessons in life that you cannot rush.
Ambitious young kelpie, with eyes of grey
Recklessly sure then, he ran away.
Brave little warrior, certain and steady
But he faced a dragon before he was ready.
Our hero was strong, the dragon was stronger
They fought till the pony could take it no longer.
Battered and broken, quaking in fear,
“Cream-coloured kelpie, away from here!”
So moon and candle, give me your light
Fire in the hearth, burn clear, burn bright.
Children, gather in the fire's warm glow
And I'll tell you the story of Keldeo.
Weak and stumbling, attempting to flee,
Saved by a travelling group of three
They saw he was hurt, they bandaged his wounds
But he knew the dragon would find him soon
For he hadn't finished what he had begun,
And his foe would not rest till the battle was won.
