She opened her eyes, and saw that the Enderman had backed away slightly, and was now holding out a hand to help her up. The blond stared. What... Why on earth? In utter confusion, she grabbed it's hand and let out a yelp as it hoisted her to her feet with ease and held out the diamond block she'd abandoned when she'd run away. But why? Fleet tilted her head and took the block, looking into the Enderman's eyes. It stared back and seemed to quiver a little, but it could still move. Why? Just... Why?
The answer was because it liked those big bright blue eyes, and the shiny hair. The Enderman wondered whether or not the hair was soft. Fleet didn't understand why it was staring at her hair... Did it want to pet her or someth- Her question was answered as it raised it's hand to her head and ran it through her short hair. It sent a small shock through her, jolting her body. It was indeed soft, and the Enderman could detect a
A Brief History of the Minecraft UniverseIn the beginning, there was the End, and the End was everything. There was nothing in the world but a scarce few floating islands, each seperated by many leagues of empty space. There was but one form of life, and they called themselves the Endermen. They stood on average three metres tall and had jet black hides. They had disconcertingly long limbs which had no joints but instead curved gracefully. Though their bodies would appear strange to the later races, their minds were filled with curiosity and intrigue at the world around them. They explored their islands and found a mysterious substance suspending them in mid-air. This substance, dubbed "gravitite", became the basis of the Enderman civilisation.A Brief History of the Minecraft Universe4 years ago in Introductions & Chapters More Like This
They crafted tools, picks and axes using its remarkable properties. The Endermen used this mineral to create great flying machines to allow them to cross the voids between the islands. Their species united, their sciences advanced to heights that no later civilisation would reach for m

Stone rumbled and fell from the ceiling as the roof of the temple began to cave in. "GameChap!" Bertie shouted. "We must make haste!"
GameChap stuffed the broken black disc into his bag as he fended off an unliving guardian of this place; a skeleton dressed in baroque golden armour. It was not the skeleton of a man, that much was clear from the snout. Its scimitar raised creakily for another strike, which GameChap was only just able to deflect.
"I agree with you, Bertie!" GameChap shouted over the roar of shifting stone, dodging and parrying blows from another three undead guards, "but these blighters are hard to shift!"
Seeing an opportunity, Bertie grabbed hold of the rope they'd used to swing across the deep chasm in the temple that divided the altar room into two halves. What rotten luck that taking the artifacts had caused the temple to collapse! He swung across, hitting a skeleton squarely in the back with his feet. It sn

believe our God exists.
You cannot stay in a state of lacking belief in God. After all, my dog doesn't believe in God, either, but she's not an atheist. To state that you simply don't believe is not sufficient. There must be a reason. On a similar note, I don't believe "blind faith" is sufficient either. I don't just "believe" in God, I have reasons for my beliefs. Either you have accepted the idea of God, or you have rejected it.
So what is the cause for your rejection? What is the basis that you found this view on? When put under speculation, is it adequate? Is it flawed? Is it subjective? This first section of my "essay" deals with reasons you might have for rejecting that our God exists, and refuting them.
I believe there is no God because . . .
1. There's no proof.
That statement is subjective. I'm probably going to use this word a lot, so here's a quick definition: subjective means biased or one-s

~this story is dedicated to Chouonsoku for doing this awesome picture of Silver and Blaze. ENJOY!!!~
'Silver... please... don't die...'
I hear her voice, the one who I have been with ever since I could remember. I've loved her more than any thing but now it's too late to tell her. Soon I won't be with her any more. I lay in her arms thinking if there is some possible way that I can stay with her. But those chances have nearly vanished. This is my story.
It started out as a normal day; Silver and Blaze were walking around the city. Soon they came to the park and sat on the bench were they first sat together.
'Blaze there is something I have to tell you.'
'What is it Silver?' blaze said looking at Silver.
Silver got lost in her amber eyes, and once again, couldn't tell her how he felt about her.
'Silver?' Blaze said trying to get her friends attention.
'Oh, never mind.'

He quickly shoves me back and gives me a disgusted look. He's just like my old man, always looking down on everything I do. My head is pulsating. "Where's an escape?", I mutter out loud. Heads turn to look at me. All eyes are fixed on me again and I'm exactly where I don't want to be. I look around and see one exit that I could make a mad dash for, if it wasn't blocked by a large man. Behind me a man pushes me forward. Just another lacky for the head boss that's out to finish me off. I stuble forward and bump into the man again. He shoots me another dark look. A faint grin made its way across Sora's face. They were going to set sail tomorrow; he, Riku, and Kairi were finally going to go out on the raft they made together. Sora had spent the past few days helping gather some supplies and put the finishing touches on the raft. The grin on his face grew wider as he thought about the end of the day.
"I just can't wait. Once we set sail, it'll be great." The words echoed around in his head like a dream. Just the thought of that afternoon with Kairi turned Sora's grin into a full blown smile and he gazed dreamily out the window before closing his eyes to sleep.
Dark storm clouds were gathering above the islands and there was a faint rumble of thunder in the distance. Sora lazily opened up one of his eyes and glanced out the window. "A storm?" he muttered. Ignoring it, he turned back over on his side and tried to fall asleep again. A sudden feeling that he'd forgotten something important swept over him.

I flail my arms a little in some desperate attempt to save the air. Obviously to no avail. Damn! What was I thinking? Is my mind going in here? I think i'm going crazy. I feel shadows moving closer towards me. I feel surrounded now, as if 30 tiny eyes are all staring directly at me. As if they're moving closer and all of them want a piece of me. I'm frantically looking around now, looking for anyway out of this. My mouth is dry as if I'm being choked by cotton. Where's some water? Where is anything now? My sense of direction is thrown off, just like my sense of balance. I fall and hit my head hard. Where am I now? Where is everyone? No ones around me but these shadowy figures. There swarming me now. The amount has doubled I know it. 60 eyes are all around me. Getting slowly closer and closer. I can feel their dark intentions from here. GetClaustrophobic5 years ago in Short Stories More Like This

Chapter Thirteen: Unforgotten
The Iliad and the Odyssey were intended as humankind's first true migration to the far reaches of space. The first two commercialized vessels ever created with Shaw-Fujikawa engines were commissioned by the Trans-Universal Emigration Association; civilian economic geniuses trying to get a foothold on what had been primarily military interests. The TUEA intended to take two thousand "ordinary" people along with another thousand specialists to a small yellow star at the far reaches of explored space. They hoped to settle on the earth-like planet in orbit of A-3317-C, forever hallmarking the TUEA as the Forefathers of spatial colonization.

It all started when God made The Keywork. The Keywork is the name for the Galaxy. It is a vast structure consisting of 12 sectors and seventy-eight planets. They are powered and held together by star-transformers, called the Stars of Sirius. The Fence is made of those transformers that actually have a visible beam of light that runs through the 12 sectors. There were three races that god had created to live in The Keywork, Prise, Man, and Mage. Mage had the right to rule over Man. Man had the right to live safely under the Mage's power. As of the Prise, their reason of being was to protect The Keywork. After God was done with this he left a prophecy that he would soon return on. A head Mage was appointed to each of the twelve sectors. Soon enough power had corrupted the Mage which led to wars and to manipulating Man. The Prise tried to interfere and the Mage united together to start a war on the Prise. Soon enough the Mage had won the battle and I believe th

Then a flicker of light was shed, weak but distinct from the darkness. It glowed in a vague red sheen, and as it grew stronger it also started to move.

The light had reached its attraction, a checkpoint with another light, which immediately started running in the same straight manner. By now several other lights just like the first had come into view, and he could make that they all were heading for the same source.
The voice came again, a little clearer now, and then a hammering once. He could make out a brief notion of what the voice was saying, but it was blurry.

At first, I thought I was in a car or on a plane. I woke up in an uncomfortable chair with an incredible headache and no idea where I was. My eyes slowly adjusted to the sickly yellow light, and I saw a ceiling with water damage. I didn't recognize it. I smelled mildew and smoke, which would've startled me if not for the headache.
I started to rub my head, but I couldn't move my hand. I looked down, and my wrist was stuck in something. Actually both wrists. And ankles. I didn't like where this was going.
Ugly laughter erupted from across the room. "About time you came around!" someone shouted. I rolled my heavy head to the left and saw Seth and Nate. They were sitting on an unmade bed, smoking.
Seth was not one of my favorite people. He worked at a bar I avoided, and he was why. He and I went back ten years, so we knew a lot of the same people. Like Nate.
Nate wasn't a bad guy, or at least wasn't till recently. He was lonesome and impression
