A Technicolor LifeA Technicolor Life1 year ago in Free Verse More Like This
Swirls of hue like memories
Taint the purity of the once white rose
Innocently prevailing a imagery
A image of the known
These rainbowish flurries of color
Paint a ignorant mindset once again
Covering over the corruption
With their technicolor ways
How my dreams fade
Dwelling beneath that rose of life
When they will ever bud again
I shall not be aware
A colorful life in a hand
That can be crushed by a simple grasp
Has a value of far more then such
Therefore resist the urge to touch
The technicolor rose of life.

Are you there?
"Are you there?" the whisper seeps into his soul
Who was she he wanted to know
He laid there in the darkness staring up at the ceiling
Whoever she was her voice as appealing
Off somewhere the sound of water dripping
Could be heard as he tried to sleep
Wanting to go to her but he felt so weak
Rolling over to the edge of the bed
He closes his eyes for the night was a time to dread
Soon he felt it a chill in the air
Then the feeling that someone was there
But he lay still as a stone
All his life he had felt a lone
Not wanting to turn
For it was the truth he was afraid to learn
Soon he felt it someone sitting on the edge of the bed
One night he fears he will be dead
She watches him pretending to sleep
But inside his soul did weep
She sat there beside him as she does each night
Not wanting to disturbed him until the morning light
Each night she would haunt him it seems
Until one day he too will awaken from this dream
Stop to smell the rainStop to smell the rain1 year ago in Free Verse More Like This
Stop to smell the rain
As the world turns a little faster
And we're all heading for certain disaster
Stop to smell the rain
When work is a mandate
Going faster is a death state
Stop to smell the rain
When schools are on your back
Handing out work as painful as a thumbtack
Stop to smell the rain
While chores are dragging you down
And life gives you nothing but frowns
Stop to smell the rain
Wanting chocolate cake
But getting a huge belly ache
Stop to smell the rain
When greed and diseases
When ruled by people who do as they please
Stop to smell the rain
When darkness walks your way
And you suffer throughout your day
Stop to smell the rain

Entering soflty in my head
Like whispers and murmur
As the wind, flies
Yours so sweet and dreamy Lies
Only the darkness
Of this immense Universe
Can stop such pain
And make company to such loneliness
Your later steps
Once right beside me
To a longer distance
Your feet guides
What was once a delightfull
And Flourished dream
Now is just a memory
The missing, and vanished
Sound of your voice
The tortuous missing of your hands
Touching me with such gentleness
Worse than a haunted painting
Once full of kindness
Nothing but dust
Nothing but the trust
Of an innocent child
Who once full of freedom
Runned the fields of love
With joy and wild
Now this rotten body
Of that boy
Is hidden somewhere cold
Since in your heart
That boy was never welcomed
The fake love
Over the purity of me
Is now destroying
What was once
Just A DollI'm just a doll.Just A Doll2 years ago in Free Verse More Like This
A doll that can be played with.
They want to brush my hair.
They want to dress me.
They want to paint my face.
They want to make me dance.
The doll cannot move
Unless told to do so.
The doll cannot make decisions.
To them, those are simply the rules.
Didn't you know?
There are rules.
And they're very strict.
. . .
I want to think for myself God damn it!
I want to choose my own clothes!
I want to put my hair up
The way that I want it!
I want to be comfortable in my own skin!
I don't want to be told
Whether I should be ashamed or not!
I don't want to be forced anymore!
I WANT MY VOICE TO BE HEARD!
. . .
. . .
But then again . . .
Dolls aren't supposed to have a voice.

Medic nodded, blinking. "I've been...ah...busy."
Soldier hummed, and bent to scoop a beer out of the fridge. "Don't suppose you've thought about what to do about the BLU Sniper yet?" He offered Medic a bottle.
Taking it, Medic shrugged. "I...I don't know." He studied his beer, before turning to Soldier. "What would you do?"
Soldier lowered the bottle, and rubbed at his chin. "Hn...Depends on what you want from your encounter."
Medic stared silently at the worn table, and his jaw tightened. "I vant an explaination. And for him to suffer."
"Explaination, eh? Thought about capturing the bastard?"
Medic looked up. "I can do that?"
"Rules of war, we can kidnap for forty eight hours, anything done in that time is completely within contract. After that, it's kill or release." Soldier smirked. "Skipped over the finer details of kidnapping, eh?"

Blowing a stream of smoke across the room, Spy studied the kitchenette with mild disinterest. He considered getting up to make himself a cup of tea, but was saved the trouble when Sniper stalked past in nothing but his jeans, and clicked the kettle on.
"You do realise you can operate this as well, Monsieur?" Sniper yawned. Spy grinned as he spotted sharp fangs, and shrugged.
"Why on Earth would I touch it when I 'ave such a handsome rogue to do it for me?" He beckoned Sniper over, and handed him the lit cigarette, removing another from the pack for himself. Sniper grumbled, but slid an arm across Spy's shoulders. Spy grinned, and hugged Sniper closer, his lips pressing against his side.

Medic's head raised slightly. "I honestly believed he was helping me..."

"Doc...breathe." Engineer patted his back warmly. "Setup's about to begin. Got everything you need?"
"Ja..." Medic breathed, hefting his Medigun up as the sirens began to wail, and the shutter opened.
Training the medigun on Heavy, Medic ran after him, pulling the lever back to deploy the healing beam as the team made their way past the capture points, punctuated with shouted jeers and many demands for a dispenser from Scout. Heavy surveyed the open area carefully, noting the minute to go. "How much charge, Doktor?" He asked, moving to stand on the first capture point. Medic checked, his heart in his throat. "76%"

But one things for sure
This song is my movement
The lyrics made out of fluid
and my beats are exclusive.
Highs n' lows in form of notes
The content of these sheets,
are heavier than I can tote
Me like so many others,
Just want to lighten the load
Some notes are more welcome than others
In my humble abode
Do you hear that rhythm?
That's my symphony,
We've been doing this,
Since the very start
And one thing is for sure
Song will never depart
It's our movement
and each of our beats are exclusive
Our lives are like music
Everyone has their own songs to play
We leave behind these sheets
For future generations,
To enjoy and play
Reminding them of the past
And how we use to get down,
back in the day
So even in death
Our presence in our world
Will never really fade away
Our legacy that is music

A drop of rain on a window.
Ice sparkling in the moonlight.
A beautiful tune
Promising of a land
Where dreams come true.
But when the lights go
And the dark
Is around you,
You can't help
As the music plays
She dances her routine.
Alone in her world
Where the music
Is the only sound
In the black night.
A haunting sound
Promising of a place
Where nightmares are found.
Where you can't escape.

Hearts pleading, welcoming death.
Angel's ghosts lie golden in time,

Devil's host die roaming the realm,
Hell's fire to destroy and condem.
Death's cloak falling and drifting closer,
Soul's grave crumbling until they smoulder.

A heart that's lost in the will for revenge,
The Abyss of Death that'll only avenge.
The blood that's drained for the devil's kin,
The body that's filled with a flaming sin.
The life that's charged by both hate and greed,
The Fire of Desire that'll only bleed.
A past that's dyed in the crimson light,
A hope that's trapped in a broken plight.
A future changed by a wish for the end,

Random Writing 1The last week of the summer term was edging ever closer. Students bent-low over their work, glancing up occasionally just to check the time. Over half of the pupils were fidgeting endlessly from the scorching heat waves; those that gave a hazy appearance to the surrounding. Every living soul in the classroom seemed to have a terrible fever the teacher, the pupils, the flies buzzing inconsistently as they tormented the humans below, and the parrot.
It may have been a day where everyone dreamed of sitting under the shade of a large tree, licking a large chocolate and vanilla fudge ice-cream, flicking pebbles into the lake, or just lounging back on the cool grass and simply watching the clouds float by. But that's just a dream.
Instead, everyone is to be found scrawling on a piece of paper, every face in the room littered with beads of sweat from the 'warmth' and nerves.

Deep within that shadow of mine.
And the bad
Some things are left in the depths
While others are remembered
The sun rises higher in the sky
Then descends into waves.
The shadow stretches farther
Until it disappears into night.
At night all shadows are forgotten
So sleep can take hold
And let us dream.
The sun comes again
Bringing our shadows in sight.
And watch the figures dance.
But I prefer to watch the sun rise
That brings a new day
With new possibilities.
And take hold of my dreams.
I leave my shadow behind
To watch the sun rise
With a smile on my face
And a new dream in place
