'IB' - Chapter Two
Dib found himself completely frozen again as the other approached him slowly. It was almost as if time had just stopped completely as each step created more and more anticipation and fear. He could hardly even bat an eye as his gaze was glued on to Zim with no intention of looking anywhere else.
Zim took agonizingly slow steps to him, the laughing dying down to weak 'e' sounds of an eerie laugh. He stopped when he had reached him, eyes turning wild almost instantly. He leaned forward and continued that grin of insanity, looking like he was a wrong breath away from a total meltdown. "I...want to....." The rest turned into garbled nonsense, but he paused, as if he were waiting for an answer now.
Dib didn't seem to catch on to this though as he was too intently focused on the other's horrifying expression, sending shivers down his spine the longer he stared at it. He considered running, but of course his body wouldn't even allow him to move a finger as he stood perfectly still

My head hurt badly, and my stomach groaned with pain. . . Worse of all, the back of my throat burned, making me rasp and cough.
I had a lot of coughing fits, and it made my stomach hurt worse with each sickening purge that came after the coughs.
I covered my head with my pillow around ten o’ clock to sleep, and succeeded after what seemed like a lifetime. . .
I woke drenched in sweat, yet I felt so cold. . . So alone. . .
I couched into my hand, violently. I felt something warm and stick splatter onto my fist, and I opened my eyes worriedly. Upon examining my hand, I had found something I greatly feared. . . I had coughed up blood. . .
Suddenly a memory came back to me, one I had forgotten because of Zim, and his machine. I was a clone, created by my fath- Professor Membrane. . . I was unstable, unfit to live in my own body. . . I w

Zim seemed to ignore my question, and instead walked passed me, to a book shelf. He picked out a book, and opened it, apparently scanning the contents.
He began to hum lightly as he looked tough the pages. I rolled my eyes, and sat on the floor, that’s when I noticed the pain. I hissed a bit, and looked down at my torso. It was covered in bite marks, and scratches. .
Dib whimpered, “Z-Zim?”
“What do you want? Stupid big-headed-fool-boy-creature. . .” Zim sighed, as he continued with his reading.
“Where did these bites marks come from?” I asked worriedly, hoping Zim would bother answering.
“From me. . .” Zim said frown on his face, yet never looking up from his book.
“How about the scratches?” I asked, surprised.
“Zim did that to.” Zim answered, still never looking up from his book.

When Zim came to it was completely dark. He could vaguely remember waking up a few other times but had quickly been drugged again before he could get his bearings. Now he had absolutely no idea where he was.
Slowly his eyes began to adjust to the dark and he could only just make out the wooden crate he was trapped inside. Trapped! He was trapped and couldn't get out! His heart began to pound as panic rose up inside of him, forcing away all sense and reason. He scrabbled; twisting around in the tiny space as he desperately looked for any way out. He was an Invader, and Invaders could not be contained!
All of a sudden the crate bumped joltingly and light flooded in from a sliding opening. Zim didn't think twice before he shot out of the crate like a bullet, blinded by the sudden bright light he ran until he careened head first against a tree, abruptly stopping his panicked flight.
He blinked dizzily and looked up stupidly at the tree he had smashed into at top speed. T

Kat: *raises paw* Hey, bartender! Give me some wine with a bit of catnip in it!
(A mug of wine passes over to Kat. He puts a straw in it and drinks some of the wine. Zim notices this.)
Zim: You're new here.
Kat: Yeah, I just needed a break for a day.
Zim: What do you mean?
Kat: All I wanted to do was prepare my planet for an invasion of the Earth, but the resitence in which I'm currently living in won't leave me alone!
Kat: Really! The girl, Millie, keeps on making me wear rediculous outfits and drags me around with her all the time! And don't get me started on those tea parties of hers!
Zim: Is that all?
Kat: *scoffs* Not even close! The boy, Coop, is always preventing me from accomplishing my goal! One time, he and his friend, Dennis, built this house in a tree that blocked my solar-powered communication device! I had to get on top of the tree for a cle

It was dark by now, the stars just beginning to peep out in the sky while the sickle-moon shone faintly through the smog of the city. Zim walked down the sidewalk with his fists clenched angrily at his sides. Hours of walking looking for GIR and the little SIR Unit had been back at the base the entire time! That horrible robot! Next time Zim would make sure GIR would tell him when he was going out and exactly where he was going.
Suddenly Zim stopped mid-stride, looking back over his shoulder. For the past block and a half a suspicious looking bush had been shadowing him and sure enough it was still there, only five feet from him now. Zim narrowed his eyes. "Dib, this is your most pitiful spying attempt yet." He said. The bush rustled and the unmistakably big head of Dib popped out of the top. "Took you long enough to notice." Dib sneered. "Did you only just now realize I was here?"
"Of course I new you were here! Yes! It was… uh… all part of my plan. Yes! You have walked ri

Gaz glared at her brother from the back of Zim’s underground lab, he had broken in and decided to bring her along for the fun of it she guessed.
Dib and Zim were having a go at each other, yelling empty threats back and forth, Gaz wondered if they ever got board of the same routine every day.
She sighed and leaned against the wall behind her, as her eyes swept across the room she looked at the advanced alien technology that mankind could never dream of accomplishing, wondering what idiot race would trust Zim with it all, even GIR seemed to much a handful to him.
When Gaz finished her little tour she gazed at the back of Zim’s head and listened to the argument going on.
“Stoopid Human! You think that you can come in here and infiltrate Zim’s Top Secret lair!?” Gaz always wondered why he talked in 3rd person, ‘Must be a pride thing of something…’ she thought absentmindedly.
Then she noticed them, the two
