Original, for all your templating needs.The clever amongst you have no doubt noticed me not doing anything lately. But then I ran across this and it looked fun and simple and I thought hey, Mrrsizha has a couple fans, so why not throw some words at you?
I might even do one for Sondas and Fjolfr, but I dunno. They're not as popular (or interesting, probably. :T)
Unfortunately, the spaces on this were...a bit small, in some cases. So let me ramble some more about my kitty in the artist's comments! It'll be fun! 8D
Things I Didn't Have Room For:Disposition Mrrsizha's basically a magpie, in that she is likely to take anything that catches her eye and isn't nailed down (even then, just give her a few extra minutes). She actually has a mild kind of kleptomania, and often ends up with things she doesn't even realize she's stolen; that is, in fact, how her best friend Fadali got her Daedric dagger: Mrrsizha just realized she had one on her and gave it to the Dunmer since she doesn't use daggers. When Fadali asked where she'd gotten it, the best Mrr could tell her was, "Well, all I know it's not
mine..." :T She has a tendency to go for shiny things, and those tend to be valuable, so it works quite well with her line of work.
Silliness aside, she takes her station as a Nightingale and the Thieves' Guild's leader very seriously, perhaps in part to prove she's nothing like her predecessor, Mercer Frey. She's not exactly devout, since Nocturnal doesn't require the sort of rituals and trappings other gods do, but she is devoted; she makes a point of visiting the Twilight Sepulcher fairly regularly to make sure it's in good shape and can periodically be found at the Shrine of Nocturnal in the Guild. While mild-mannered, threatening or insulting her Guild is one of the easier ways to piss her off; the Summerset Shadows only knew what hit them at the last second, after all...
Personality: Reckless versus Cautious Mrr's pretty weird about this, so I eventually settled on putting her in the middle. For the most part, she's a pretty cautious kitty, but she tends to do a lot of things most people would consider reckless...or downright bleeding insane. And somehow, she always manages to pull it off. So really, she's generally cautious, but occasionally swings way the hell over into reckless for seemingly very little reason.
AgeI actually have no idea how old she is, partly because I don't know how Khajiit age and partly because I just don't know what seems like a good age for her. The best guess I can give is "young adult".
Name Mrrsizha's name is pronounced basically how it's spelled: "mer-sihz-ha". I actually took the name from a similar character (a white, anthropomorphic cat thief) I'd made in Wizardry 8 since it sounded appropriately "Khajiit-like". Unfortunately it doesn't quite fit with the known alphabet of Ta'agra (there's no H by itself in Ta'agra, far as I know) or canonical Khajiit naming schemes, but I just kind of handwave it by saying it's a completely acceptable Khajiit name because it's not like human/mer/whatever scholars really know everything about Ta'agra...or at worst, she has the Khajiit equivalent of Akeelies* for a name.
In any case, her name confuses the hell out of most people, and generally she goes by simply Mrr. Fadali, Brynjolf, and Karliah are basically the only non-Khajiit who ever use her actual name, and the first two still prefer to call her by a nickname. The rest of the Thieves' Guild also have a handful of nicknames for her--it being the Thieves' Guild and all--but "Molly" is the most common one (internet cookies to the person who can tell me why!), most likely coined by either Vex or Dirge. Maul tends to call her "kitten" (it's not affectionate; it's meant in the sense of "I could crush you like one". At least until he starts respecting her).
Anyway, I think I covered basically everything I wanted to ramble about. She actually has a rather huge profile typed up on my comp, but I figure I won't waste everyone's time any more than I already have with it.
*No, I unfortunately did not make that name up myself.
