My Final WordsThis will be my last journal post for a long while. This entire week end has been quite a trip, but in the end I lost a battle I knew I would lose. I have never been good enough for any one. I simply serve a purpose to help every one and no give me anything back. I was raised into it, and will never leave it.
And I have had my heart torn out. By two people who went behind my back and betrayed me. Men are distrustful, and I have finally learned my lesson. So I have decided.
I do not need any one. I need myself, and thats is all I have left to love. My will to forgive has been drained and I just can not do it any more. So I will stay alone. I will spend as much time away from every one else as I can. I will become the recluse I used to be. It was much simpler then.
It is truly all I can do now. Because if I do not I will end up doing something very bad to myself that will hurt more people than I would like. And after people I love have hurt me and become such cowards that they can not co

a pile of wanknot to everyone's taste and severely lacking in features which made users adore MSN/WLM.
ALAS, a couple of months back I found QQi, and recently Aniemae pointed it out to me again. I decided to give it a shot and was surprised to find it feels a lot like MSN/WLM.
It supports a range of appealing features such as:
• Custom emoticons
• Exporting and importing emoticons so you can back them up and share them between separate PCs! (epic feature)
• Custom fonts
• Custom themes
• Remote assistance
• Image sharing (through using a nifty 'screen capture' tool within individual IM windows that works like cropping)
• Built in Message History
• Offline messaging
• Offline file sharing
• Appear offline feature and choice to appear offline to select contacts

Ten things I want my mom to know about selfharmMy mom found out that I cut after seeing the scars on my thigh while on vacation. Damn shorts....It's funny how I have scars and burns on my arm but she didn't think THAT was self harm, But Whatever. Here's a list of shit I want her to know about. If you guys like it or have similar feelings, feel free to use it and change whatever to fit your situation.Ten things I want my mom to know about selfharm3 years ago in Personal More Like This
10) This is not a fashion statement or a way to be cool. It's not a fad.
I hate when people say this. I'm not doing it to fit in anywhere, how many popular kids do you know are cutters? Why would I want to fit in with people who are seen as stupid and lame? Why would I put an unnecessary label on myself in high school? Anyone who cuts to be in the "cool" crowd or does it just to be seen as a "true" goth needs to be slapped hard. It's also not some fad like silly bands or I<3 boobies bracelets. This in not some trade-able scars that are done for shits and giggles, It's serious. Anyone who thinks other wise gives ev
Frequently Asked QuestionsHey guys!Frequently Asked Questions3 years ago in Personal More Like This
Thought I'd make a FAQ since I've received the same questions over and over again. If there's anything else you'd like to know, comment here and I'll add it.
What materials do you use?
I use polymer clay and TLS (translucent liquid sculpey). I don't have a preferred brand, but I mostly end up using Sculpey III and Premo.
How do you color your clay?
I use soft chalk pastels to shade my clay. Any large, solid colors in the clay are just different colors of clay.
What paints do you use?
When I use paints (mostly for the faces on some of the charms), I use regular acrylic paint applied AFTER the item is baked. I then seal it with glaze to keep the paint from fading off.
I want to start working with clay! What materials do I need?
I have a basics guide here for those who are curious as to what you need.
How do you make your charms/miniatures shiny?
Tips for Young Writers...with some help from BuffyHello readers!Tips for Young Writers...with some help from Buffy2 years ago in Personal More Like This
I spend a lot of time talking with young writers about writing. Whether it’s the art of putting a novel together or ways to break into the industry, I get asked a lot of the same questions. So I thought I’d compile a list of tips here for writers getting started at any age. Maybe you’ve heard some of these before, maybe not. Either way, I hope they help you along your path.
1. Show, don’t tell.
Yes, you’ve definitely heard this before. A million times over. But what does it mean? The difference between showing and telling is the difference between sitting in a cafe in Paris sipping a latte and reading a menu online. You want to immerse your reader. If I’m telling, I’m over-describing, maybe even listing scenery. If I’m showing, I’m slipping in details where they fit naturally.

How did the introduction of Jazz, Crazes and popular media influence the American populace during the early 1920s?
Brilliant question Silverpoint345, well well well firstly the American public heard the music and was like "HELL NAH THIS AINT MUSIC" cos in the 1920s everyone was kinda boring and didn't do much except for talkin about the weather, then after a while they became more open minded and were like "HELL YEAH THIS IS MY KINDA SH*T" and the

don't wait for a beginning to start over. don't even wait for tomorrow - do it now. make a lot of lists. prioritize. get shit done. don't waste time on things that don't matter but remember the details. sometimes they're more important than anything else.
do everything on your own volition. don't do anything just because you have to. the only things you have to do involve natural bodily functions - the rest, there is always a choice, there is always a choice, people just forget about the less conventional options. figure out who's worth caring about & who isn't. fuck the people that aren't. take everything into account but don't let it make your decisions for you. trust your gut. don't ask for second opinions all the time. you know what you want - don't be afraid to admit it. if you find yourself leaning one way, defending one thing, take it as a sign. be selfish when you can & selfless when it strikes you. don't forget about your needs and your wishes

I'm also making a FAQ because the last couple of days I get a lot of questions and most of them are the same. So here I go
What are these dolls?
These dolls are called Ball Jointed Dolls (BJD). A ball-jointed doll is any doll that is articulated with ball and socket joints. In contemporary usage when referring to modern dolls, and particularly when using the acronyms BJD or ABJD, it usually refers to modern Asian ball-jointed dolls. These are cast in polyurethane synthetic resin, a hard, dense plastic, and the parts strung together with a thick elastic. They are predominantly produced in Japan, South Korea and China. The BJD style has been described as both realistic and influenced by anime. They commonly range in size from about 60 centimetres (24 in) for the larger dolls, 40 cm (16 in) for the mini dolls, and all the way down to 10 cm (4 in) or so for the tiniest of the tiny BJDs. BJDs are primarily intended for adult collectors and customizers. They are made to b

Getting to know Heby a bit!
Hello there, Heby! Why don't you tell us something about yourself? We'd love to know a bit about you!
Hi there~~I'm Heby, yes, just call me Heby, some friends just call me Shrimpy. LOLz. Drawing is my all time favourite thing to do in my life. I'm trying to improve my drawing skill bit by bit. In real life, my work has nothing to do with arts anyway. Drawing is just a hobby for me release stress. (*w*)b
When did you start drawing manga and anime styled works? Have you tried or considered switching to another style different than manga? (rea
My DD GuidelinesIf you're perusing this journal, you've likely got questions about suggesting a Daily Deviation. Brookette and myself are your Artisan Craft CVs, meaning we can feature Artisan Craft deviations only. I can no longer feature Traditional Art / Sculpture. If you want to suggest something from another category, here is a list of the CVs you can approach. My DD Guidelines2 years ago in Art Features More Like This
If you've decided you want to send one my way, here's a few guidelines to help you know what I'm looking for.
How To Suggest a DD
First, make sure the deviant hasn't received a daily deviation in the last 6 months. Go to [username].deviantart.com/dds to see a deviant's DDs.Next, send me a note with the subject "'DD Suggestion". In the note, give me a thumbnail [:thumb######:] for the art you w

Did you thought that by default the pen will it be like using butter on bread?, you try it for the first time and you love all of it, you said i have sooooooo much control on my strokes im having a blast. Then only to realize you only have total control of the brush but when you are moving it really slow?. But when you do quick strokes the pressure drops a lot of paint making you redraw tons of stuff?
Did you ever thought that painter its hard to handle with new tablet? Too much pressure? If it has more pressure why i cant control more easier the beggining of the stroke which is more crucial?.
Have you ever open the customize option in wacom settings, only to feel dumb and no
Stop RAPE!I have always been a proud Indian coz I felt it is one country which has unity in diversity. But today I feel ashamed when a "girl" feels utterly unsafe and unprotected to even go out of their house in my country.Stop RAPE!2 years ago in Personal More Like This
A nation-wide news of a 23yr paramedical student getting brutally gang-raped in a moving bus in the capital city of India, Delhi shook the nation and every heart of a girl in India. This is not what I wanted to see when I was a child. India is so full with talented individuals and great minds but still they run a dreadful society by infusing fear to a girl's or a woman's mind?
Please stop this right now. A girl has an equal right to breath, talk, walk and have every possible freedom as the other gender has.
Being a guy, I know that we are attracted to females more than they do. But personally I never have the feeling or even have the guts to think of "raping" someone. How can you do something like that to a human being? A guy must understand that raping a girl is not
Managing Your Inbox: Some Tips on StreamliningI'm not really an organized person. Yeah, sure, I like to TRY to be one, but most of my attempts to clean house don't stick. The one exception, however, is in my online life. I keep everything to do with the computer tabbed and organized and that includes my dA life.Managing Your Inbox: Some Tips on Streamlining2 years ago in Art Features More Like This
I posted a poll asking visitors what their inbox looked like on a typical day. As of this writing, of the 52 responses, 35 have full inboxes – that is, somewhere between 200 and up to (or over) 1000 messages to sort through. So about 70% of the voters have quite a lot to page over.
I hear horror stories quite frequently from deviants who are overwhelmed by the sheer volume of things passing through their inbox. My personal inbox rarely reaches three digit numbers, and the few times it has, it's always been because something of mine has made the footer. While I can't promise that my personal methods will work for everyone, it n
FAQHow long have you been drawing (digitally)?FAQ2 years ago in Personal Journal More Like This
How old are you?
What program do you use?
SAI, opencanvas 4, and photoshop elements 6
What do you use to draw?
Wacom Bamboo Tablet (model MTE-450) for drawing and an optic mouse for pixel art.
I use 0.5 B lead for pencil drawings. It's so soft and feels GOOD on the paper *___*
How did you find your style?
I found my 'style' by drawing often and making changes gradually to reflect my preferences (cutesy, big eyes, shortish torsos, bigger hands/feet) and practicing on increasing the range of things I enjoy drawing.
I think you have found your 'style' when you are happy with your art and can keep it fairly consistent. I love to juggle multiple 'styles' at once to keep myself interested in drawing. :3
Here's a bit of a timeline map for my chibies and regular art:
