This past weekend I had a table at the Lubbock Comic Book Expo in Lubbock Texas, Met some great creators and fans. This was one of the sketches I did while I was there, I sold it to one of the dealers. I used India ink wash and brush on Bristol paper.
Finally some pencils and ink on paper, my favorite medium. This is the cover to my Sketchbook that I will be publishing soon. Will be a few months before it's out as I have some work to get done, but I'll definately give an update on it. After years of procrastinating I finally will do this. I'll be including drawings, sketches from my personal and professional artwork, should be fun.
UPDATE 2014-03-30: this is now the traditional painting I did after my digital concept posted earlier - which is now obsolete. I designed this Floating Cities many years ago somewhere in the 1990's (see here: i580.photobucket.com/albums/ss… ) and now while working on other concepts I remembered them and instantly wanted to feature them again. So here they are
I just finished Metal Gear Solid 4 recently, I was inspired, by there awesome Mechs, so I came up with my own.
Metal Gear Taurus was designed with a special nuclear generator an to be to be extremely resilient to any environmental conditions. This makes it ideal for long term conflicts. It is armed with two 10 in. chain cannons. Along with special targeting systems that can be used to call in air support, or use satellite weapons. With state-of-the-art communication systems, Metal Gear Taurus can also act as a battlefield command and control vehicle.
Well, this has been lying on my table a loong time. The first sketch is from September I think. It was waiting for lineart. And after that it was waiting to get coloured. Woo. I'm so happy I've finished this one. I like it. A lot.
I wanted to draw a piece with two representatives of two different kinds of human imagination. The fantasy and the sci-fi. So here's an elf maiden with an android. :3
This is a "employe" of the PMC; the GMC (General Military Company). A key influence in my fictional universe. Now, you may automatically think Killzone after seeing this, but I actually drew this way back in the July of last year, and I was just thinking, "Draw something with a gas mask." So... yeah, here you go.
