Imagine, if you will, another place and time.

A most time consuming drawing that was a challenge to say the least. With so many other drawings waiting to be done, I couldn't move on until this was finished. Finally after about 3 weeks on and off, it's done.
Once again it's such a crap photo :(

Finally finished this! It took me way to long, I think I started it on something like the 2nd January... But thankfully I really pleased with how it turned out :) I wanted to draw someone blonde because I don't think the hair on some of my recent drawings has been all that good so I thought I should focus on the hair. Also I usually end up leaving the clothes til last and rushing them or over simplifying them, so I tried to draw them a bit more realistically this time.

- A4 paper
- Graphite pencils: H HB B 2B 3B 4B 6B 8B
- Mechanical pencil
- Cotton buds for blending
- Plastic and kneaded erasers
- Reference used
- Probably somewhere between 15-20 hours, although it could have been more - I lost count!

This one has been a long time coming, I had a bit of an artists block but I managed to finish it.
I'm in the middle of packing/moving so time to "escape" has been rare :(

Back to charcoal...

You can read more about about this drawing, plus check out some WIPs in my art blog! Thanks! :)

PS: In case you hadn't figure out who the people on the drawing are, it's Chris Evans and Evan Rachel Wood. OK, so perhaps it's not so easy to see that's it's Evan... ;)
