I never cosplay female characters.... except when I do. Arwen was never my favourite character from Lord of the Rings, but she is absolutely adorable and so when people tried, it didn't take long to convince me to cosplay her. I hope you like these as much as I do! *__*

After the first two films, "The Hobbit" I immediately bought the book and I finished reading it some time ago, not without shedding a few tears.
Thorin is a character that I liked in the movie than in the book, which I had to in some way make a good gift.
I have very suffered for finish this work. The color I used to color his beard and hair was done at the beginning of the work. A friend lent me the same color to finish the drawing, but it ended too! Eventually I went to buy it. Got home and put to work, however, I realized that he had bought the wrong color of dark gray! I was so desperate that I wanted to finish it the same, and I'm glad that you do not notice the accident!
I do not know yet when I can scan it, it is a size bigger than my scanner. So I do see it

Just a few photos from the day, I'm doing a proper photoshoot soon.
Also let me stress that the bow is a LARP bow, the draw weight is very low around 20lb. The bow itself is fibreglass so its very durable and drawing the bow back again take after take was not stressing the bow. The tip of the arrow is foam and the arrow shaft is a very light pine. She never drew the bow directly at the photographer but past them. We treated the bow with much caution, we are not stupid. We also carried a un-stringer with us so we could un-string it while traveling and if MCM security had a problem with it. The feather fletching will not slice her fingers if she slipped (even though she gripped the end of the arrow head tightly) the feathers I used were quill feathers and very soft.
