bringing back the feelings of hard times that leave bile in my mouth and weight on my chest.
Some one I used to know and thought the world of,
And even though much has passed,
And I am happiest now with my sunshine.
I some times wonder what ever happend to this friend of mine.
Where the times have taken him.
Then there's the story of the monster before I saw the sun.
I regret everything to do with him,
Wish we had never met or that I had ever learned his name.
Left me broken and bleeding with the trail of other broken hearts,
I was only another card to tuck under his belt.
A silver tongued devil with nothing to loose and time to spare.
But after him.. I saw the sun.
The one who loves me for all that I am,
and cares for me.
He is the best thing to happen to me..
and before him I never really believed in the whole.. " the one "
or the soulmate kinda thing..
but now I do..
Thank you sunshine <3

For a sound.
But nothing ever happened,
And no one ever came.
We waited for him.
But he never came.
A long plane ride in bitter silence,
Left alone with a crushing reality.
He was never coming home.
And we realize that no amount of wishin will bring him back to us.
But still we wait.
Wondering if he watches us or turns away in shame?
Wondering if he's proud of who we became?
Wondering if he will visit our dreams anymore?
And we wait in silence.
For a sound.

No one catches my attention like you.
How your voice cuts my attention,
Or how I get lost in your eyes each time I gaze into them.
No one will ever hold my heart the way you do,
It cracks a little each time you think I would ever leave.
You're the best thing in my life.
You are my sunshine
Black Rabbit - Part sevenThe late October breeze shifted leaves across the sidewalks and roadways, which were usually empty. But tonight, they were filled with children in colorful costumes and teenagers looking to make some trouble. It was Halloween. And every dressed up child that Casey passed made him regret where he was driving even more. Shiloh had somehow pulled him into going trick or treating today, which was nearly impossible for someone to do. The raven absolutely hated trick or treating and hadn't done it since he was around the age of ten. But, Casey just couldn't say no to Shiloh. Maybe it was his baby blue eyes, staring into whatever goodness was left in his soul. Or perhaps it was the simple fact that Casey was growing very fond of the boy. Their agreement was that they he would go trick or treating with Shiloh just as long as he didn't wear a costume.Black Rabbit - Part seven2 years ago in Introductions & Chapters More Like This
But as Casey pulled up to the quaint second story house on the hill, he couldn't help have a hunch that he would actually be in a costume sometim
Fish Legs - 1It was around midnight as the proud captain let his legs dangle over the edge of his vessel, staring down into the water which cradled his ship like an infant against its mother's breast. He let out a short sigh as he stared down into the waters, feeling nostalgic.Fish Legs - 12 years ago in Introductions & Chapters More Like This
However, his water had been disturbed. By the creak of a ship a little form found himself gazing upward towards the partly clouded sky. Rays of moonlight were sore to him; he wasn't at all used to the surface. But conversing with the blob-fish down below had become a bore for the once sunken cabin boy. He could see two feet hover some distance above the water and he crept upwards to take a closer look. The crown of his head poked out of the swaying waves; though he dared not move further yet.
Little henna tattoos decorated the soles of the man on the surface’s feet as they hung overboard, intricate and flowery designs crawled up his ankles and separated into little speckles and dots. He looked mighty bored and had no s

Why should I hide these feelings and thoughts from the world? I am not ashamed or embarassed by my feelings
So although I don't have any beautiful lines of poetry to make your heart melt and sing with joy and I don't have any dazzling gifts to give you. I will do my best to make my ordinary every day words do the same.
I was thinking of you today; how your smile warms my heart.. and how your laugh makes me smile. How I get lost in your eyes each time I look into them, how your voice calms the storms in my heart and quiets the voices in my head. Because when you speak, You have my full attention and nothing will break it. Because there is nothing more important in my world than you. Nothing at all.
And while lost in my thoughts for you, I couldn't help but wonder..
How long will we be together?
Will we be happily married?
Will we have children together?
Long walks and talks about our lives?
Black Rabbit - Part four"Out! Everyone out!" Casey yelled from the top of the stairs. He was absolutely pissed at himself. This whole thing was a stupid idea. Not only did he jeopardize his best and only friendship, but Shiloh's house was absolutely trashed. Of course, no one could really hear him over the music, so the teen had to use force. He roughly pushed people out of the way of the stereo, and abruptly turned it off. "I SAID EVERYONE FUCKING OUT. NOW." he screamed.Black Rabbit - Part four2 years ago in Introductions & Chapters More Like This
With grunts and complaints, most of the teenagers left, but Casey then had to go upstairs and chase some kids out of bedrooms and bathrooms. Once the house was completely empty except for Shiloh and himself, Casey let himself fall on the couch. He was riddled with regret and guilt, and the dark thoughts began to creep back into his mind. He wanted to die for what he did to Shiloh, even though he had done much worse before. "I can't believe I did that to Shiloh. MY Shiloh." Casey muttered to himself, rubbing his eyes. But it took him a second

Black Rabbit - Part eightThe morning light filtered through the soft baby blue curtains and cast a warm light across the cozy bedroom and onto the bed that usually just had one pink topped boy curled up innit. But this morning, a snake bitten rabbit held him close as they both slept ever so soundly. Unlike every other time that Casey woke up with a boy in the same bed, this was a pure, sweet kind of cuddle. As they lay there sleeping, Shiloh had his face pressed into Casey's chest, and the raven's face was submerged in Shiloh's soft, candy hair. Eventually, the taller of the two slowly came to. He looked up to the window, and then back down to what he had just brought his face up from. When he saw it was Shiloh though, his emerald eyes widened slowly and in one swift movement, he rolled out of the bed.Black Rabbit - Part eight2 years ago in Introductions & Chapters More Like This
"No... no no no no no. Fuck... why did I..." he whispered, slowly crawling away from the bed.

Black Rabbit - Part tenAfter a little while of talking with the angsty and peculiar teenager, Annie just shrugged it off and let him be. She could tell that he was nervous around her, though she'd keep a close eye on them anyways; she was like a bear watching over her baby. In this case, Shiloh was her baby.Black Rabbit - Part ten2 years ago in Introductions & Chapters More Like This
Shiloh was still hanging onto Casey's waist like a koala, face nuzzled into his shirt. He was still out like a light.
Casey immediately calmed down once Annie walked off. His heart was racing and his palms were sweating badly. It was a wonder the sound of his heart didn't wake Shiloh up. This was far from the first time Casey ran into parents though, and definitely not the most awkward. Once, when he was trying to escape from a house after a night of fun, he was forced to sit and have a cup of coffee by his partner's dad while they went on and on about the "beauty of mars". He just pulled Shiloh a little closer after she left and tried to calm down. The boy probably wasn't going to wake up for a while, a
Black Rabbit - Part twelveA pale light poured into the dark apartment from a kitchen window, and covered the angsty resident. Casey sat in the grungy kitchen, looking at the rust covered refrigeration and inhaling death from his third cigarette of the morning. The air in the small space was a little bit foggy from this method of stress relief, but there was no way Casey was going to open a window. Since he barely made enough money from being a whore and stealing from his now four boyfriends to pay rent, he never turned the heat on and always wore several layers of clothing. He was barely ever home anyway, so it didn't matter. This was simply a place to keep his belongings in and bring the occasional client home.Black Rabbit - Part twelve2 years ago in Introductions & Chapters More Like This
Cigarette number three was soon diminished to the butt and once it was, the whore rubbed it on the bottom of his plain sage green ceramic ash tray. It was a housewarming gift from boyfriend #2; probably purchased at a garage sale for a dollar. The ash tray honestly looked like something you'd see in the
Black Rabbit - Part nineLater that night, Casey had left Shiloh's house, saying he had to go home. But sure enough, his car pulled up into the boy's driveway the next morning to give the pinky a ride to school. The whole way there though, he couldn't help thinking about that sweet morning they spent together and the kiss they shared at the park. The scenes just replayed in his head over and over again, and every time, his stomach felt fluttery. As he sat there in Shiloh's driveway, waiting for him to come out, he just let his head fall back on the headrest of his seat and smiled warmly. Even though the chill of autumn slowly crept into the car and through his thin sweater, those memories just made him feel oh so warm.Black Rabbit - Part nine2 years ago in Introductions & Chapters More Like This
The pinky soon came out of his house and ran up to the car; his thick pink hair bouncing with his steps as he got in and sat beside Casey in the passenger's seat.
"Hi Casey~ How're you?" Shi asked with his lips curled into a sweet smile as he buckled himself in and pulled his hands into his bunn

When you came home I used to run outside to meet you,
Now I retreat away and hide.
Before you can even come inside,
yelling and screeching sounds and a door slammed.
My body shakes from heaving sobs after you "greet" me,
My eyes swell up from trying to hide the tears.
You know right away what I've tried to hide.
Awe, why do you cry my little hunny bee?
Is what you used to say.
Now you yell and question my tears.
See what you've done?
Do you even care?

I hesitated a moment before turning and running back into the house. AJ was already trying to push his way between the quarreling brothers.
"Cain!" The blue-haired teen screamed, his fist tightening around the man's shirt. "You need to calm down!"
Cain ignored AJ, pushing him aside to swing his fist toward Talen's face. Cain's sibling dodged it and retaliated with a right hook of his own but instead of his brother, Talen's knuckles struck AJ's face, the dark-eyed boy staggering backwards and lifting his hands to his eye. He whimpered for a moment before shaking off the pain and re-centering himself between the two, turning towards Cain.
"Cain, please stop!"
His hands wrapped around the man's waist as he burrowed his already bruised face into his slightly blood-stained shirt. Cain stilled, staring down at AJ, his eyes widening. Talen stumbled backwards, a wall catching him before he could lose his footing altogether as he lifted his arm, wipin

Reaching For A Mirror
Listen, sooner or later you're going to have to look me in the eyes, it's unavoidable
It's going to be that time when you let your guard down, your reaction will be recognizable
I don't know if you're able to face me yet, but you need an intervention, because this is personal
You're not going to like what I have to say to you, I know you're going to resist, you're so predictable
What exactly do you know? You know NOTHING! Because left you a long time ago
We don't need to talk, you don't even really exist to me, you don't have power anymore
There's nothing you can say to me that might help, not even by a little, so just leave me alone
Don't even speak to me, don't try and "get through" to me, it's useless now, so please, just go
I don't know where I went wrong, I've already told you that I've only ever tried my very best
You need to quit being stubborn, stop this foolishness, remember who you are, and never forget
Before you took

"En Garde, ready? Fence!" The referee shouted, bringing his hands together.
Ethan rushed forward, surprisingly quick for his size, and Caleb advanced as if he planned to meet him in the middle of the platform. The brunette saw him sink down, a motion he had noted in the last match as preceding an attack for the larger fencer.
The prodigy scrambled backwards as Bradford lunged towards him, the blade rushing past Caleb's mask, so close he could hear it whistle through the air as he reached out and tapped the black haired boy on the shoulder. They stayed frozen like that for a second after the buzzer went off and the ref called out Caleb's point. Caleb finally stood and walked calmly back to his starting line, rapping his blade three times on the ground so quickly that the noise blended into one sound.
Alec watched with wide eyes.
"Wow…" He whispered, Danni sharing the same, awestruck expression. "Ethan doesn't stand a chance!"

Caleb grabbed his mask back from the receptionist after she had checked the mesh and bib, running his thumb along the new blue stamp on its side amidst the many other, older, ones.
"Are you all checked?" Delacruz asked him when he found the boy stretching in the men's locker room.
"Yep," The fencer replied, switching legs.
"Alright then get your stuff on. I'll help you warm up."
"m'kay." The brunette nodded, looking over at Delacruz knowingly, "Gonna show off for all the sponsors, eh?"
The Asian man smirked before leaving Caleb to suit up.
Alec sat up from where he'd been lying on the bed and stalked out of his room to get some food in his stomach. He hadn't eaten since yesterday, his head too clouded from constantly thinking about Caleb to worry about food.
As he walked out into the hallway, the sound of the TV in Danni's room made him freeze mid-step. Glancing over from where he stood, he saw the brunette that had been invading his
Black Rabbit - Part fiveThe school courtyard only had about a dozen other students. Just mucking about; talking about their general idiotic things that went right over Shiloh's head as he wandered over to one of the few trees and sat in the grass beneath it. Blades of grass folding awkwardly and brushing against his puffy checkered pants. He hadn't seen his friend much today and it was already lunch hour. The boy never really realized just how lonely school was till today since they'd normally spent nearly all of their time together. Though there were some times that Casey would go off without saying why or where Shiloh never really questioned it though.Black Rabbit - Part five2 years ago in Introductions & Chapters More Like This

AJ and Cain [Part 1]
An idiot! That's all he is.
AJ grimaced to himself, pulling his hood over his head to keep the icy wind from stinging his pale skin and checked his phone.
He didn't even apologize! What the hell is wrong with him? Kissing me and then saying he didn't mean it. That makes absolutely no sense!
The blue-haired teen walked along the sidewalk, turning and ducking into the music store Gage always went to, to escape the crisp air. His eyes perused the room, it consisting of many rows and tables of soundtracks, DVD's, and even some vinyl records. The walls were heavily adorned in posters of famous rock bands like Three Days Grace, Papa Roach, Seether, etc… and AJ loved it. A store never spoke to him like this one did. He wandered to the back of the room, examining the CDs in awe before a voice spoke to him, making him jump.
"Let me know if you need help finding anything," It said, carelessly, the voice low and gruff. Familiar.

You woke up slowly, trying to remember why you were so happy.

You felt his soft lips kissing your neck.

You ran your fingers through his hair softly. That's why you were happy. Because you were with him. Of course.
- I feel like I'm getting old.

Black Rabbit - fourteenThe thing he remembered most about her was her long blonde locks of hair that draped down her back and sat propped upon her shoulders. The way it caught the rays of sunrise, glowing with an almost pink hue against the morning lights and long shadows. He could remember how much his father loved her hair and nearly cried when she had cut it to her shoulders, it used to be longer at one point- but those memories were fuzzy now.
