SunriseDawn is now and I'm fighting for reality
tensions growing ever grander.
Is it right to fight?
That's the question isn't it?
Is it right to hold on
when something is failing,
falling apart so rapidly?
This advancing time
is playing havoc with my life
and I can't explain
what it's doing to humanity.
I want to be the hero
and save the day,
but you see me only as you're enemy,
the nemesis of life's normality.
Let's ride this changing tide together
and conquer our own existence equally,
and in so doing,
find the truth that's hiding.
Make me your champion
against this rising hate
so one day we'll know peace
and this moments tempered grace.

It hurts me to see those tears streaming down your face.
I'd fix everything for you if I could.
I'd trade my world for yours any day.
I'd give you my life,
Just to see you happy.
And so you don't have to go through any more pain.
Don't you see I'd do anything for you?
Can we please just be happy about that?
No more crying...
LonelinessI sit here and think of you.Loneliness10 months ago in Free Verse More Like This
Sometimes it seems that's all I do.
Loneliness is all that I feel.
It almost seems like you're not real.
To hold you close would be bliss.
To feel your warmth, your touch, your kiss.
It drives me crazy that you're not here,
And won't be for a whole year.
Being with you is all that I see,
But until then, loneliness will engulf me.
what i'm accustomed toi am not used to being literal when i speak.what i'm accustomed to2 years ago in Free Verse More Like This
i have spoken in riddles since the day my sounds made sense.
often i lied
because i was never clear
and that is what i hid behind for eons
at a time.
i have spoken about past lives,
and meeting my soulmates
because they kept changing
so many goddamned times
way before i was born in this realm.
[as if all of it was actually true]
i am not used to love being ordinary.
blame the ones before you
it had always been forever with them
it had always been eternity,
and though it gave security
it was pressure on my dignity.
they didn't understand that i needed to live
before settling for something lesser,
because deep down even they knew
i was way too good for them
and that made them hate me
[with sweet lies through their teeth]
i am not used to making love being just that.
with me, it was never just me and you
it was always time stopping forever
and then finding that a paradox
and saying it was all an act of the angels.

Loneliness invades like
A black plague,
Writhing inside my chest
And poisoning my soul.
Oh my love,
Why do you not save me?
Hanging my head,
I dance to the radio alone,
Softly whispering sweet nothings
To the emptiness;
Oh my love,
Why do you not wish to fill my heart?
Reaching out in the darkness,
Only to find I sleep in solitude,
My tears leaving wet trails of longing
On a cold pillow;
Oh my love,
Why do you not see what I suffer for you?

Pointing fingers, shouting names,
none of them your own.
Swollen bellies, teenage bodies, where's the father,
why the bother?
Drugs replacing, mind is racing, colours facing, love escaping.
Designer brands determine friendships,
the popular ruining it all.
See the girl in the chair, dead in the centre,
judged, broken, offended, broken.
What do you do?
Judge, break, offend, BREAK!
Tear down the creative,
shatter the artistic.
This is your life,
walking a fake line.
Cherish it, or don't.
It's your sick world.

from the corners in which you have flung me.
this lion-heart of mine is hungry again,
devouring light-lidded men who once dreamed
of galaxies -- this is nucleosynthesis:
we are stars, we are dust, and i am humbled, proud.
the sea does not sigh, tonight. the moon
hides her face whilst motherless nimbostratus beg
the wind to marry them, weeping when he leaves --
he leaves, spurning trees who ache to hold him.
somewhere it is snowing: thick, heavy, soft.
it is in my lungs, cooling my throat as it threatens
to tear itself raw. tonight, my hands are pressed
to my sternum as i hold my own breath still,
knowing you rest beneath open windows.
these secrets are optimistic. they are full,
spilling over, tying close distance between us.
this is sacrifice: i am offering to you the worst,
the best, of me. fearful, they rest tenuous,
stretched taut through phonelines, fierce,
they do not submit. tonight, instead, i set them free.
i have forgotten wha

I lay so still and wonder why.
Thoughts racing through my head.
Almost think I'd rather be dead,
Then go through these pointless motions.
Am I depressed or devoid of emotion?
With no happiness, I only feel pain.
Faking this smile is just a drain.
I don't know how much til I crack.
Almost wish for an anxiety attack.
What comes next? More of the same?
A suicide shouldn't be my aim.
When all seems lost, what do you do?
Getting some sleep would be something new.

What passes and you don't even glance
I love what you show
What you hide
I love what you give
What you keep
I love your questions
And your answers
I love your doubts
And what you are sure of
I love what you say
What you keep to yourself
I love what you remember
What you forget
I love when you are happy
When you are angry
I love what you speak
What you think
I love what you catch
What you leave
I love what you ask for
What you give away
I love your words
No matter if they are good words or bad words
I love what you love
What you hate
I love you
You, and only you
I wouldn't conform with anyone else
I love what you imagine
What you know it's real
Whatever you touch
I love it
Just because I love you
The ThingI lay still in my bed,The Thing2 years ago in Free Verse More Like This
Mr. Ted by my side,
And listen hard for the thing
That crawls around outside.
He'll start with the scratching,
It's always the same,
His claws carving the face
Of the wooden door frame.
Then he'll move onto the blood
Seeping beneath my door,
Dripping from the walls,
Covering the floor.
The wardrobe door will squeak,
Those green eyes appear,
Voices will whisper
Dark words in my ear.
Their dead hands will tug
At the edge of my sheets
And insects will crawl
All over my feet.
I lay and wait
For their games to begin.
But tonight will be different,
I whisper with a grin,
Tonight I will show
Those monsters a scare.
They can come back again,
IF they dare.
The Lost GenerationIs this existence of time worth my life? The Lost Generation2 years ago in Free Verse More Like This
To struggle through each day's heartache,
With all this stress and strife?
Nobody can answer this fundamental question,
How can we save the lost generation?
Is there meaning of conscious left for me?
To hurtle through every night's sickness,
Without any faith to be free?
Nobody will deny this radical emotion,
Where can we find the lost generation?
Is that suffocation of will ready to die?
To tussle through early morning's hunger,
Without the courage to cry?
Nobody shall crave this political flirtation,
Why can't we rescue the lost generation?
Never Be With MeThe answer's no. I don't want you.Never Be With Me8 months ago in Free Verse More Like This
It doesn't matter what you do.
You can plead and you can beg,
Drop down and grab my leg.
See, we don't connect at all.
Feel like I'm talking to a wall.
This doesn't have to be the end.
I would love to make a friend.
You acted like that was fine.
But you just had to be mine.
Now you hurl your insult.
Act like this is my fault.
What's so bad with this fate?
We only went on a single date.
Why can't you just see,
You will never be with me.

Each day I wake.
You always come to mind.
Knowing a day of chores,

Though you never leave.
For I grab you by the sleeve.
Welcoming your love at ease.
Always going to be.
You and I together.
For our lives are one.
And that is half the deal.
Knowing Love Is Real.

For any whom deem to embrace
A life full of questions
Handed over suggestions
Though even being wise
Please do think twice
It may save what is last
From whatever longed past
I stand before you now
Raising one brow
Asking you once
So don't be dunce
However you chose to live
Know that I forgive
For the look on your face
Shows there is space
For my Almighty Grace

Know however you live

A plan well written
From here to great Britain
So please don't be smitten

Nothing else I will allow
Always you and I
Seeing eye to eye
Some roads are tough
Others are rough
Though the lines in our palm
Bring us to calm
For we have so many plans
Right in Fate's Hands
The Tragic Tale of Little SallyThe Tragic Tale of Little SallyThe Tragic Tale of Little Sally2 years ago in Free Verse More Like This
There once was a little girl named Sally
She loved nothing more than reading
Horror, mysteries, romance
Anything she could get her hands on
Oh, that little girl loved books...
But the books did not love her
Oh, no, the books despised little Sally
She had a nasty habit of abusing them
Leaving them out in the rain
Using them as coasters
Staring for hours on end at their pages
Books are very sensitive creatures, you know
And they saw Sally as a threat to their very existence
And then one day, they finally got their revenge
In the form of a small, innocent-looking paper cut
They used all of their knowledge and power
To infuse that little paper cut
With all their malice and hate for little Sally
It went slowly, though
The cut festered for weeks
Growing more and more red
And more and more swollen
And more and more infected
Until Sally eventually succumbed to its power
Never to crack open a book again

Anger, sadness in their hearts.
Hate me and my broken parts.
All their souls I broke to pieces

I see them as my heart breaks down.
All their fret, I can't ignore.
All this, I can't take no more.

It seems like the best things in life.
Are so far from reach.
Though, a little patience can teach.
That they will come.
All your dreams above.
Making them true at last.
And when they pass.
You'll always know.
The love that you felt.
Being distant from you.
Was the greatest it could be.
As I am always there with you.
We will find a way.
Love so far away.

The sunlight shall flicker across my face

for now i bid you farewell
maybe next time your need me
just like i needed you.

Know even in this busy world
Twisted and twirled
Starting my day
Always with you
For absolute majority

Sick MachineIf you could cut deep into my bearable blood,Sick Machine2 years ago in Free Verse More Like This
Would you see it as a circuitry of veins,
Madly manifesting itself across blackened bones?
But I won't forget when it rains all the pain,
Salivating from scarlet sides of that knife of wood.
If you could slash hard into my subtle skin,
Would you know it to be a mimicry of silicon,
Insanely invigorating itself over mildewed muscles?
But I won't forget when it snows all the blows,
Impacting from emerald edges of that dagger of sin.
If you could claw slowly into my pitiable plastic,
Would you find it more than a secrecy of nerves,
Wildly wasting itself under obliterated organs?
But I won't forget when it hails all the flails,
Singing from crimson curves of those talons of static.

And I love it when she misbehaves.
Burning air I lust after her elegance,
Breathing in all her melodies lasciviously,
Pursuing her blindly over currents of crimson chance.
But every single time she cries my name,
I don't know if to her it's all just a game.
Weeping tears only for me,
Wailing along the air seductively,
Drowning me softly in glades with gruesome glee.
She's a siren turning me into ash,
Yet her love like tempestuous waves crash.
Sitting down next to me,
Singing down my ear promiscuously,
Killing me gently upon shores of sombre seas.

Embedded deep in her forest of lies
Slowly crumbling with her heart
As she contemplates what's right and what's wrong
No one will know her secret
She won't let this kill her.

That my life is total hell
Up until meeting you
No longer being blue
All your strength and passion
Ending all compassion
Bad times all behind
Can see from being blind
Your guidance is always good enough
So hear me when I tell you
For this is not a bluff
Together we will be soon enough
Ever lasting love
Fit tight like a glove
