The monthly Bake Off! is designed to make you bake or cook something! You have a whole month to plan what you'd like to do and there are various ways in which you can win some prizes.
This month the theme is 'Bread.' You can interpret this how you wish! I certainly didn't bake these rolls from scratch but used a packet mix (cheating but oh so tasty!) and got a little creative with how I arranged them. It would be good to include the recipe in your commets, or a link to the recipe if you took inspiration from elsewhere. It will help with regards to the prizing criteria listed below too...

Dango and Pocky Recipe!Okay, I promiced two awesome artists on dA, :iconToonTwins: I would give them the recipe for dango. You all can use the recipe to your liking as wellDango and Pocky Recipe!6 years ago in Personal More Like This
Here it is...
You require the following ingredients:
1 1/3 cup joshinko (rice flour. Or you can get rice flour and grind it, but it must be ground just enough so it's as a flour. Any wheat grinder would work well. Just use the electronic one. I did it by hand and it hurts>>)
Making the rice dumplings:
Put rice flour in a bowl and add warm water. Knead the dough well (or just use a metal spoon if you want to). Make small round dumplings (the size of rubber balls). Place the dumplings in a (vegetable) steamer and steam them on high heat for 10 min. Cool the dumplings and skewer them in bamboo sticks. (3-4 dumplings each stick.)
Making the sweet sause:
Mix water, sugar, and soysauce in a pan and put it on medium heat. Mix the water and katakuriko starch in a cup an

Welcome to Daily Deviations Week IIWelcome to Daily Deviations Week IIWelcome to Daily Deviations Week II2 years ago in Deviant Events More Like This
Some months back we put together another Daily Deviations projecteducate week which was quite successful. In light of some of the amazing feedback we recieved during that week, we decided to put together another DD week to highlight some things we were unable to cover last time. During this week we will again focus on some common themes which surround Daily Deviations in our community, and try to shed some light on them. We hope that we will address your concerns, but feel free to ask questions at any time!
For anyone who missed our last DD week, we encourage you to look over those articles as well.

dA adds new CSS attributes Skinners! Must read!Okay, as per the latest dA site update found here. CSS coders are now allowed to use 3 more properties to rock their journal skins.dA adds new CSS attributes Skinners! Must read!3 years ago in Art Features More Like This
The properties are:
Lets see what can we do with these new fancy stuffs!
What does these attributes do?
1) content--> it is used to insert generated content in your HTML (Journal body for DA). Don't worry, don't worry! I'll tell you what is this "generated" content!
2) counter-increment --> it is used to insert numbers (or counters) to sections or sub-sections. I'll explain what "sections" and "sub-sections" are don't worry again!
3) counter-reset --> it is used to reset the counters
All these 3 properties are generally interlinked and are used together. But the "content" property can be used alone and has some cool usage.

Welcome to Feedback Week! This week is being brought to you by a team of very devious deviants over at FeedbackFrenzy.
In January of this year, the marvelous BeccaJS led a Critique Week in which we learned about many of the critique groups here on deviantART and also the essentials of giving and receiving critique for various media. In case you missed it, here are a few of the fantastic articles that were shared that week:

Beta Launch: Film, deviantART muro in Sta.shHello everyone!Beta Launch: Film, deviantART muro in Sta.sh3 years ago in DeviantArt Announcements More Like This
Today we're bringing you some major changes for Film & Animation deviations, and also some new tools for deviantART muro and Sta.sh Writer!
Film submission through Sta.sh
The first major change for Film is that Sta.sh is now properly equipped to support film submissions! While it was sort of possible in the past, Sta.sh can now store and submit film files the same way other filetypes can be stored and submitted.
Keep in mind that you have to have film submission privileges in order to submit films to deviantART. For more information on this, please read this FAQ: :faq842:
Film Deviation Page Changes
The second change is regarding the layout of film deviations. The old film layout was designed with an older version of deviantART in mind, and this change places Film submissions back up to speed with the rest of the site. The Film deviation page has been updated to

Did you know? - Individual disabling of MentionsIndividual disabling of MentionsDid you know? - Individual disabling of Mentions1 year ago in Art Features More Like This
While it is nice to know when and where people use your deviations, it can be troublesome for some deviations like emotes, profile decorations or other kind of popular ones.
You might not want to disable mentions in general, but exclude certain deviations for it.
In that case wait until one of such deviations pops up as a mention in your message center.
At the right side (next to the x-button) you have that little arrow icon. Click on that and you will end up with this.
If you click on it to proceed, you will have to confirm this change, to make sure you didn't click on it by accident...
... and from now on you won't get notified for this deviation anymore.
You are able to disable mentions for single deviations, but you are not able to redo it individually. In that case it is 'all or nothing'.
Right now it is
Getting the Most out of dA: CommentingUsually, when you read something involving 'Commenting', you think of deviations and the commenting platform that allows other members of the community to voice their thoughts and opinions on the art shown. However, what is pretty evident, and something that most of us may forget, is that deviantART runs on the ability to give and get comments, be it on pieces of artwork, our profile pages, forums, and everywhere else in between.Getting the Most out of dA: Commenting2 years ago in Art Features More Like This
In a sense, without the ability to give and get comments, deviantART wouldn't be much of a website, much less #1 of online art communities around. Comments are not solely the cause of what makes deviantART what it is, but it has a huge impact on a lot of things. By giving and getting comments, not only do we interact with other members to really make this a community, we also have the ability to get our voices heard.
It's quite an odd concept with us all facing screens, typing out our thoughts and opinions, but one thing we shouldn't forget is that commen

DDs: Suggester's frustrationsWelcome to a new journal in this mini series about Daily Deviations. In the first one I let you know about what I think DDs represent, and then about some of my personal criteria to select them.DDs: Suggester's frustrations3 years ago in Art Features More Like This
Now is time to focus on the suggesters. Those amazing (almost always human) beings who take a moment of their lives to go the extra mile when finding an amazing deviation and suggest it for consideration as a Daily Deviation. Ya know? I wouldn't be able to feature so many amazing art on my own! So before anything else, I want to take a moment to thank all the amazing people who suggest. Thank you guys!
As a person who also suggests DDs once in a while, I do understand the frustration suggesters often get. So I would like in this occasion to explain some of the reasons why th

But of course
However; if seriously - which Narutoverse pairing do you consider the weirdest of all?
I remember seeing somewhere suggestions for Minato x Kisame - I still haven't quite gotten over it; but this simple yet effective combination helped me realize the infinite possibilities for such crazy matches
The cracks I normally admire are actually; quite trite judging by age and gender of the chracters; it's mostly Orochimaru; Konan & Obito pairings (sometimes mixing the said characters ) but nothing too fancy (well; to my spoilt opinion ).
For now the collection of personal kinks includes:
Orochimaru x Sakura - because it's purest craziness. Sick; unholy and oh my; Orochimaru needs a girl among all this yaoi
Obito x Konan. I cannot even begin naming the miracles behind this pair. Too many p
