Jareth Chapter 1
"No," he said with a smile, "There is no miss understanding, my friend, I meant to pay you with exactly what I gave you."
"Bless your heart, milord," the old toothless woman said holding the gold pieces to her chest.
"Think nothing of it, thank you for the fruit," He moved about the crowd looking for something to do. He'd always felt restless at home and these "common folk" seemed to know how to cure it. Most of the time.
Always in a hurry, like bustling ants, they moved quickly buying and trading their daily goods like it was all that was important to them. The son of an English duke, Jareth hadn't had to worry much about this making it fascinating to watch. Today, however, it just seemed like everyone was going through the motions. He pushed back his sand blond hair as he sat upon a low wall and bit into the peach he'd just bought while scanning the crowd for anything interesting.
The dirt of the so called "street" had clung to his grey black boots, a trait of his wanderings that nev

"I have to what?" Sarah deadpanned.
Jareth let out a sigh and tightened his grip on her hand. "I promise to be there with you the entire time and Healer Orin will be supervising the procedure. I trust him with my life with your life."
Sarah sat completely still; the blank look on her face mirrored the still waters of her thoughts. "I I have to die in order to live forever?" she stuttered.
"Sarah, I know this sounds bad, and I'll admit that it is risky, but the council requires it. We're on their good side right now and we don't want to jeopardize that."
"Jareth, you can't honestly tell me you want me to do this because the High Council told you to do it. I know you, rules are meant to be broken and just how the hell am I suppose to live if I have to die?"
"I confess that the idea of being with you forever is quite appealing to me. I had hoped that it would be to you too."
Sarah narrowed her eyes and pulled her hand away from Jareth's. "

"Ah!" He hissed in pain as something gripped his shoulder and held him in place. For a moment he couldn't see as the dark had come upon him awfully fast, but when could see he was almost positive that he preferred not being able to. He was suspended in a tunnel of hands that seemed to belong as part of the wall itself. Then, Jareth realized why his wound hurt so bad, they where actually grabbing him.
"Come on! Come on!" A disembodied voice demanded. A cluster of hands formed into what could have been conceived as a face, "We haven't got all day."
"Haven't got all day for what?" Jareth asked.
"Which why do you want to go?" Another cluster asked.
"Yes, which way, up or down?" yet another asked.
"Who on earth would choose down?" Jareth asked genuinely puzzled by the thought.
"Someone who wants to get to the castle," The first cluster said.
"A lie no doubt," Jareth snapped, "No help here is ever any help at all, Take me back to the top."
The third cluster chuckled viciously, "He chose up."

The two wrapped in one another's arms stood in silence. Neither moved nor uttered a word. Jack let his eyes slowly trail to over Pitch's shoulder and he felt his stomach tie in a hundred knots and he could feel his cheeks turning pink. Pitch watched the younger boys facial expressions and he knew that this couldn't be good.
Behind the two men stood the guardians. Each of them seemed to be frozen in time their shocked and disgusted expressions stuck on each of their faces. Jack slowly pushed out of Pitch's arms and floated out to face the guardians. Pitch turned slightly to face the men and woman. He crossed his arms and raised one arm to place his chin in his hand.
"Umm guys…" Jack mumbled nervously looking in each of the guardian's eyes, he looked over North's shoulder and saw Tooth wink at him. He smiled and ran a hand through his hair before continuing, "Look it's not what it seems…"

Pitch walked over to his nightmares, readying them for the takeover he had so longed for. "Jack," the Nightmare King called. Jack Frost flew over to Pitch, a smile on his face. The Boogeyman grabbed the boy's chin and kissed him. "Jack, would you do me a favor?" Pitch said gesturing to the nightmares. Jack flew to the ground and covered the nightmares in a light layer of frost. The Nightmare King laughed viciously. "Excellent."
The two headed for the town of Burgess, Pitch in desperate need to first take down the children that defeated him before. Once they arrived, the pair stood on a sand cloud high above the city. The black sand and frost went out in all directions, turning all the children's dreams to nightmares. Jack smiled up at Pitch, glad to see the Boogeyman was so pleased with how everything was going.
"Jack," Pitch began, "I need you to fly towards the other side of town. There isn't enough ice on the nightmares." Jack nodded his head and flew in t

All of the windows in 221 Baker Street were wide open and every single fan that could reasonably fit into 221a and 221b without short-circuiting the electricity were on full blast. “I am so sorry that the a/c went out,” Mrs. Hudson said as she passed cups of lemonade.
“It’s not your fault, Mrs. Hudson,” Sarah said. She was sprawled on the floor wearing a yellow camisole and shorts that hit her mid-thigh. (Sarah was impressed at Jareth’s limited lustful looks. It was the most skin she had ever shown him in the entire time she had stayed at 221b.)
“I am fine Mrs. Hudson,” Jareth said, waving away the lemonade as he lay on the sofa.
“How are not even sweating? You are wearing a three piece suit for crying out loud,” Sarah asked.
“Because, as always, life i
