After several minutes of just staring at the computer in complete terror, Dib turned to the platform and headed towards it. He shut off the lights on his way out, the computer’s bright monitor illuminating the room now. His head turned to look back at it, nodding once as if to thank it before stepping onto the plate in front of him. The platform rose again for him to take him back upstairs into the wreckage. Now he had an answer as to what happened and why Zim was behaving like he was. The better question was, would he regret seeing that though; seeing the complete self-destruction of his now former worst enemy and now current worst nightmare?
The thing that made seeing that video so traumatizing was that he had actually grown to some what care about Zim. Yes, they were enemies both out to stop each other at every turn, but before Zim, he didn’t have a reason to get up every day and go to school. Zim was everything he had always wanted; an alien that had found

Dib’s hurried pace soon slowed to a steady walk as he got closer to Zim’s base. He delayed getting there as he was both afraid and nervous of what he may find here. He actually started to second guess if this was the best thing to do, but he arrived before he knew it. Once it were visible across the road from him, Dib stopped and stared at it for a short time. He drew in a deep breath, whispering unsure words of encouragement before starting closer towards it.
Zim's base looked pretty similar on the outside, except for where his gnomes keeping his house protected had been destroyed. Though, it did seem to have an eerie aura around it which was something that hadn’t been present in the past.
Dib had made it to the front door now, staring upon it as if there were something fairly interesting about it. In reality, he was just preparing himself for what he was sure would be a quite shocking sight. Finally, he pushed the door open and flicked on the lights wi

Dib bit down firmly on his lip before shakily stepping forward and pulling him slowly up the creaky stairs. Since it was dark, he squinted his eyes in an attempt to see a bit clearer in the small amount of light that he had. As he slowly made his way up the stairs, whispering the Irken’s name in an attempt to draw him out from his hiding place. In a situation such as this, Dib preferred to know where Zim was rather than him be out of sight with the possibility of a surprise attack.
After a minute of crawling painfully slow up the stairs, he finally made it to the top with the sight of the illuminated room at the end of the hallway; the same room his sister’s decomposing body lay on the metal table. That light was still on, but there weren’t any sounds. Either the Irken was being especially quiet, or he wasn't there at all.
Dib’s feet were planted deeply where he stood, hesitating to go any closer to the room. Memories and dreadful images of what l

Dib walked down the sidewalk appearing more disturbed than he had since this had started. The lingering taste of Zim’s blood seemed to keep him in an almost trance like state as he walked almost unnaturally down the sideswalk. Of course, the boy’s unsettling demeanor attracted more stares from the people around him.
People went from being distasteful and scowling at him, to almost frightened and concerned for the boy. He'd been progressing so quickly to lunacy lately that some people believed it was time he saw someone about it.
This thought of going to see someone though seemed to be out of the question in Dib’s mind. He knew a doctor would only blame it on schizophrenia or just plain insanity and not even try to believe that something was actually going on. He would only be prescribed some drug to try and rid him of ‘the images in his head’.
Perhaps that's what he needed to stay sane though; receive some counseling and a bit of medicin

As Dib stood outside of his home, he couldn't help the overwhelming loneliness that washed over him. After the neighbours reaction, he highly doubted anyone would take him seriously. Not like they had taken him seriously before anyway.
On top of the extreme aloneness, the boy was feeling a massive amount of paranoia. His house had proven to be just as dangerous a place to be now, and after seeing how easily and quickly Zim could infiltrate it, he realized he would never feel at peace inside of it. He would always be looking around himself, checking to make sure he was truly alone.
Dib took only small, slow steps towards the house now, his eyes flicking everywhere as he scanned for any threats. He was quite jumpy now though, so when a small leaf flew by him he jumped backwards a step and let out a high pitched scream. He began to breathe rapidly until realizing it was just a leaf before taking a deep breath and staring forward again, his eyes continuing to scan his environm

Resolve came in the form of first sunlight beaming through the shattered hole that was at one point a window. It immediately melted away the shadows and extinguished the coolness that the night had brought. Everything was completely visible now and revealed to the paranoid human.
However, even after the sun had come up, Dib took a while to convince himself that there wasn't actually anything there, and that it had all just been a crazy delusion in his head. After several more minutes of watching everything around him, he had finally convinced himself that he was alone now, which actually relaxed him and made him realize how tired he actually was. It was too late to try and sleep now though since he had to get ready for another dreadful day of school.
He didn't try too hard, though, as he decided to stay in the bloodied and torn cloths from the night before and only ran his hands over his hair in an attempt to smooth it out. He was far too tired and stressed to be concerned

So here it is! I am finally working on this for those of you who've been so patient. I am working on making this flow a bit better so please excuse its immense length since I have been adding a lot. I hope you guys enjoy chapter one and the rest of the story once I can get around to posting it! I am writing Dib's parts and Invader-Neo is writing Zim's. I haven't edited much of hers because she writes like a boss!
Everyone in the skool building knew it was a scientific law that when there was Zim, there was always oddities and inevitably, screaming. These screams were usually on resulting in either anger and denial at anything that could have been brought to his attention that he felt were threatening to his position and mission, or from absolutely anything that came out of his arch enemy's, Dib's, mouth. And both these oddities and screams were the very things that defined what Zim was to these humans as much as his PAK defined him as an Irken. He had

“I’m not crazy!!” Dib screamed, desperately trying to plead his case. “Let me go!!” The boy struggled to get free but to no avail.
The two nurses held firmly to the distressed and thrashing child. Another man wrapped the corpse of the dog in a blanket. "We'll have him buried in the pet cemetery." He stated to the boy, hoping it would ease his mind a bit.
The mention of the pet cemetery hardly calmed Dib, making him flail and scream more loudly. “NO! Don’t bury him there! Just give him back!” He looked to the doctor now in pure distress and agony. “I didn’t kill him I swear… Just let me go!”
"Okay, okay! Take it easy!" The man frowned with a guarded demeanor, not wanting to upset him further. "I'm sorry Dib, we'll just keep you overnight and study you. We aren’t saying that you killed the dog, we just want to make sure everything is working right in your brain." Dr.Gaul explained to him as sl

Dib clung to his new friend almost as if he weren’t planning on letting him go. He pressed his face into the soft fur, his face strained with a permanent smile for he was quite glad that for the first time in his life, he had found something that seemed to care for him.
After a moment, he spoke to little Einstein. “You want to go to the park?” he questioned as he reached for the leash and clipped it to the dog’s collar before standing up. He headed towards the front door and opened it, looking back at the other.
Einstein was ahead of him though as he ran out of the door yipping, only to be choked briefly by the leash around his neck. He stumbled back a bit and shook his pelt out, looking back at Dib and yipping.
Dib replied to this by taking off in a slow jog, closing the door behind them. Soon enough, the park was in sight. As predicted, the park was rather empty on account that school was still in session and mostly everyone was at work. As he

Dib rolled his eyes. Of course Zim would be going off again. This time was no different to the last, except instead of rambling on about the cafeteria food giving him blisters, he was directly addressing the cafeteria drone herself. She ignored him of course, barely casting an eye towards the green 'child' directly in front of her, let alone every other student in the cafeteria for that matter.
How could they not see? Even after a two years of the same nonsense. Dib had at least expected something to change. But no. He was still picked on. Still known as the crazy kid with no friends. The paranormal freak.
Putting his hand to his chin, Dib slowly ate his cafeteria food, trying to blot out the noise of Zim's raspy voice, but it was no good. He could still hear it ringing throughout his head. He almost envied how the other students could block Zim out so easily. He just wouldn't shut up.
The pounding sensation emerging on the right side of his temple didn't help either. The more Zim rant
ZaDR - Bullied"Look at him over there," Chunk said, nudging Torque and pointing at Dib. The teenager was leaning close to his desk, extremely focused on writing something. "The report's not even due for a week what a nerd."ZaDR - Bullied4 years ago in General Fiction More Like This
"Hey, you know what we should do?" Torque replied. He stopped lifting weights for a second and put them on his desk. "We should beat him up after class."
"Hmm well, it's been a while since I slammed a nerd's face into a locker," Chunk commented, nodding.
"Class is over in ten minutes. We'll get him on the way to lunch." Torque chose a ten-pound weight and started lifting that in one hand, watching Dib with distaste.
Dib finished writing, looked over the paper, and nodded, taking out his laptop to start writing the final draft.
Meanwhile, on the other side of the classroom, Zim was leaning back in his seat with his feet propped up on the desk and a notebook on his knees, mostly doodling instead of writing like he was supposed to be. He glanced at the teacher, but she w

Zim is an alien from planet Irk who was sent to Earth for what he THINKS is a mission to conquer as part as Operation Impending Doom 2. However, he's actually been banished. He's been on Earth for seven long years, and still has no idea that his mission was just an excuse to get rid of him.
He's tried to destroy the Earth more times than he can count, but each time, the troublesome Dib human foiled his plans. Annoyed? Yes. However, after a certain event that occured in 7th grade, Zim's attempts at conquering the planet had become... pitiful. It seemed like he had stopped trying. He had also started becoming sort of attatched to Dib. I will not explain any more.
On the first day of 7th grade, Zim showed up to skool with a different disguise, one with longer hair. He had somehow grown a little taller, maybe having something to do with the gravity on Earth? I dunno, and I don't care. He's taller. So there. He also changed his clothes a little bit, probably because the previous year, he ob

Zim's eye twitched and Dib ducked out from under the arm, fairly disturbed. "Okay how do you play it?"
"The first person to get creeped out loses," Keef explained. He ran his hand down the side of Dib's face.
"AH!" Dib jolted back and tripped, falling hard on his back. His glasses tilted and hung off of one ear, looking like they would fall at any moment.
"You lose!" Keef shouted.
Zim laughed at Dib before offering him a hand to help him up. It was currently recess, and bored, the two had decided to talk to an old friend and ask him advice on what they should do. They were regretting it now.
"So basically, we feel each other up and the first one to freak out loses?" Zim asked to make sure.
Keef nodded eagerly.
Zim smirked. "Dib-thing, would you like to play with Zim?"
Dib blushed, pushing his glasses a little further up his nose, and nodded.

And now Zim was observing something entirely new. What is this display of violence for? Zim asked himself, disregarding the fact that he was in the skool playground conversing with no one. The humans used their teeth to fight for dominance- the male seemed to be winning while the female had a tighter grip on her opponent. He stared until the contacts he wore to disguise himself as a human were dried out from the heat of the sun. And suddenly the battle ended, and they separated their mouths and both blushed heavily; probably from an

For seven long years, Dib has been trying to expose/destroy the Irken invader, Zim, who showed up in his fifth grade class one day. As soon as Dib saw this green kid, he KNEW he was an alien. Of course, no matter how obvious it was, and no matter how hard he tried to prove it, no one believed Zim was really an alien. He became very discouraged after awhile.
After about four years, something happened between Zim and Dib that changed EVERYTHING between them. However, I will not tell you what it is yet. After this event, Zim had actually tried LESS to destroy the Earth, even though he always talked about it. Not only that, but he seemed less like a threat to Dib and more like a source of entertainment. Zim started barging right into Dib's room randomly, climbing in through the window, and insisting on bugging him. Annoyed as he was, Dib didn't actually TRY to make Zim leave. They still hated eachother... or at least they kept saying they did. No matter how much they hated eachother though

Just to think. . . After I left Zim, I had headed off to the big city to start a new life and also took over my father's business as the new famous scientist, but I also left my old town just to forget about my old love life, Zim.
I don't even want to talk about that lying alien. All he ever did was bitch and moan about everything, every little thing is always a big problem, and I had to deal with him being such a jerk to me about that stupid small problem. I'm still really mad at him about how he lied to me about being 'pregnant' so that I can stay with him. Hmph, well I'm not stupid. That irken is an idiot and a liar, he is someone I would not want to spend the rest of my life with. I rather be spending my life at this wonderful mansion, great job as a rich scientist, and many fans. Yup, this is the life and nothing is going to top it.
As the next day had begun, Dib was already awake. He always had an early start o
Trench Coat-ZaDr Zim stepped out of his house and into the frigid air, wearing his usual uniform. He hated earth winters, they were cold and made all the humans sniffly.Trench Coat-ZaDr6 years ago in Fantasy More Like This
The alien's uniform was extremely thin and did nothing to block out the chill. Which is probably why he was so cold, but he'd never stoop so low as to buy a human coat. His race however had never heard of a coat before since it was always warm on his planet, so he went without anything to block out the elements. He refused to wraps his arms around himself, this would show that he was cold, and that would be a weakness. The irken walked down the sidewalk, occasionally slipping on a patch of ice or two before regaining his balance.
Dib stepped out of his own home, wrapped up in his warm trench coat. He didn't much like winters either, they were cold and he hated getting sick.
