A picture of my build of papercraft GLaDOS (made by ~billybob884)

It really wasn't that hard to put together, since it was a lot of simpler pieces put together. The only thing I failed at was the tiny little cores. They just didn't come out right, none of them. Oh well!

This is the security camera I made on a boat. I got the template from billybob884, and you can find it here: [link]
It was fun to make, although the small black connection piece was very fragile @_@

I made the base.
It was fun to make, not too hard. Maybe took 3/3.5 hours.

Inspired by a lot of comments on this comic: [link] where several people thought the idea of GLaDOS with pillows was kinda scary.

Another papercraft. This time it's of GLaDOS, from mah favorite game, Portal. This one is a little different, it hangs from a hook, rather than standing. Hope you like!!

Actually, I wanted to work on my Sixfold entry today so I could finally submit the first part, but... then this idea rushed through my mind, I started looking for a Portal related Papercraft and encountered this. So that's what I've been doing all day long. I think this took overall about 6 or 7 hours, and since it's the very first completed Papercraft of mine... so I am proud of it! If it's not falling apart within the next 24 hours! Ahahaha~

And now I'm spamming your inbox with the result.

Soooo why am I submitting this? Usually, I hate people showing off things just for the means, but first, I made this and not bought it or anything and second, see above. Also, third would be to promote this papercraft. Seriously, this pattern is really well done, so why not saying "thank you" to the guy who made it and shared it with the world? In case you want to give it a try as well, I will link everything properly on the bottom of this description. ;D

I am aware this isn't the best turret done of these, I made plenty of mistakes, but it's actually standing on its own and doesn't look like somebody stomped on it so it's good enough to show you people. (Seriously, how do these people close the body without turning it into mush while glueing it? It's a mystery I will probably never solve...)

Also, put my companion cube on the background because I didn't know what else to put in the background. And sorry for the very crappy quality of these shots, it's already quite late here - so no sunlight, plus my phone's camera just plainly sucks. But since this is just for promotion and is not intended to be a master piece... o3o

LINK TIME! :iconhappylinkplz: nowaiththatsnotright...

YES!
took me FOREVER but i finally finished!
it's GLaDOS from portal, using [link] design (you can find the template in his gallery as well)

i've never done anything like papercraft before, and let me tell you

it's HARD

and takes a long time
but so totally worth it!
i've yet to find a place to put it up, but i might put it in my brother's room, since he loves portal even more than i do :)
i hope to one day make the turret, but it's a lot more complex...

sorry for the poor quality, taken with my webcam in bad light... the red for the "eye" doesn't show well because my printer only prints in black and white so i had to color over it myself

now GO! MAKE ONE NOW!
