Life is an endless battle. The more eager and sophisticated you struggle, the more you will prevail. But if you stop fighting, life will overwhelm you and push you down! It's hard to get up again, when you're lying on the ground, held down and discouraged by accumulating problems. So never stop fighting and instantly annihilate every problem that you encounter, one after the other! The further you get, fighting through that ocean of problems, the higher you score and the better your reward.

But you don't want to fall.
You're grasping in the air,
For anything at all.
Finally you find,
A place in my hand.
I begin to pull,
Bring you onto land.
Don't you worry.
You're safe here.
You'll be okay.
There's nothing to fear.
I see you crying.
You think of the end.
You feel so alone,
But I will be your friend.
Just talk with me.
You can even cry.
Just tell me everything.
Please don't be shy.
I just want you to smile.
I know it's tough to do.
Please just remember,
That I am here with you.

Even when I'm at my weakest
I still lend you my strength
Even when my eyes are their darkest
I still look out for you the best way I can
I'm not the hero of the day
I just know what's right
I'm not some selfless saint
Someone has to bear the light
I don't expect any praise
All my deeds are of the same kind
I need not your thanks
No relief can fill this void in my life
No rest for the wicked / No love for the abandoned
No hope for the innocent / No pain for the departed
I'll give you my all / I'll rise while I fall
I'll answer your call / I'll serve until there's no pulse
I'm not looking for acknowledgment
Remember not my face
I don't consider labels an accomplishment
Forget to speak of my name
I will leave none a victim of relinquishment
You will not witness that pain
I'm merely here to cure the inhumane infections
For we are all one in the same
Even when all seems hopeless
I will come to turn the tides
Even when I'm left powerless
I will always be

The days pass by.
Yet I sit here.
Thinking of you.
How I would like to be,
Within your presence.
I know I have to be patient.
Then it will come.
As I sit here and wish.
I could be here with you.
Not feeling so blue.
But tonight is different.
So don't be afraid.
Just look up at the moon.
Eyes wide with passion.
Knowing this is soon.
Let it be a clue.
My Time With You.
Gale: The Reaping (Part 1)Reaping day is always bad news. Who wants to see which 2 kids from your neighborhood are going to die this year? Uh-huh. Thought so. But this year, an event occurs that will tear me away from the girl I love and keep us apart for the rest of our lives.Gale: The Reaping (Part 1)3 years ago in Romance More Like This
Moments after my best friend's little sister is chosen to die, one voice from the deathly silent crowd rips through the air.
"Prim!" I hear it, strangled with utter panic. Katniss. Naturally. "Prim!" Again, louder and more distressed this time. Then all of a sudden I see her, running up to the stage.
It takes me all of about 1.2 seconds to process what this means.
No. No. You can't.
Pushing Prim behind her with one arm, she shouts breathlessly, "I volunteer! I volunteer as tribute!"
I am frozen. Time slows down. I watch, dumbfounded, as the annoying, pink-haired Capitol froof frets about the rules, as the weary mayor gives his listless consent, as tiny Prim latches on to her sister, screaming Katniss don't go, don'
Gale: The Reaping (Part 2) The anthem ends, and immediately Katniss and Mellark are marched off to the Justice Building and disappear inside. An alarm goes off in my head, and I panic.Gale: The Reaping (Part 2)3 years ago in Romance More Like This
Will I never see her again? Will I never be able to tell her how much I love her?
As the crowd begins to disperse, I run up to a passing white-uniformed Peacekeeper.
"Hey, Darius," I say, breathless. "Are the tributes allowed visitors?"
Darius knows what I'm asking. He raises an eyebrow. "If you want to see her, I'd best go as fast as you can."
I thank him, promptly taking his advice.
Unfortunately, there's already a line there. Already Mrs. Everdeen, Prim, Mr. Mellark, and Madge are waiting to go in. Seems Katniss is pretty popular for a tribute. The idea brings a smile to my face as I recall how many little moments we'd shared in the woods. It disappears as I remember that those moments are over.

Panic seizes me like a vice, wrapping my heart in barbed wire. She looks powerful. She looks strong. More than that, she's proven herself capable of strength similar to her brother. Where her brother was merciful, I fear she won't be so much. I caused the death of her family. I caused so much pain.
As if reading my thoughts, she softens further, makes herself smaller somehow. I don't know how she does it, except I can only think of a deflated balloon. It isn't to that extreme, obviously, but it's the first thing that comes to mind. "I'm not going to hurt you. I didn't come all this way f

“Oh, do shut up and keep going with the slang, Red.” your teacher instructs you quite harshly. You’re taking your annual morning flapper lessons with Jack again, and this time, the subject of the matter is flapper talk. All these flappers have some extremely strange slang words around here, you must say. Pipes meant voice. The berries, the bee’s knees, the cat’s pajamas, ritzy, all meant good. Everything’s Jake meant everything’s ok. Tomato meant a girl without brains. Lemon squeezer meant elevator. What a load of words and loopy nonsense! How do flappers even catch up with the talk around them? Ironically, in the world of the flappers, sweetie meant anyon

Go about with your own life
Hide the truth about us
Understand that we are different people now
Remember the bad times and forget the good

Three Cups (one-shot) (Uk/Arg+Falklands)Even though I’m not human, I still have an age, I’m still fourteen years old, but only physically. Even if I’m stuck in time, I excitedly watch the snow falling down ever winter. And even though my death probably won’t happen, at least in this century, blood still runs through my veins, my heart throbs, and I, too, can get ill. Many don’t understand that, while others accept it as a reality beyond question. They treat us normally, but when themes such as my age come out, the difference between us and them gets more evident. Sometimes, I play with the kids from my islands, even if I have more things to worry about, I can’t help it, but I try not to do it too often, too.
When our fun comes to an end I see them leaving along their progenitors, those who gave them life. They don’t talk about anything of the kind, when they realize I

Your reason for loving winter? Well, that’s a long story. You always loved winter for its bitter, yet beautiful charm, with its nostalgic memories of hot chocolate, sledding and constant snowball fights. But that isn’t the main reason why you adore the season so much.
Picture this. One day, you’re silently reading a book about fantasy, about how the wonders of

Arthur paced back and forth anxiously, the old wooden boards groaning slightly with each agitated step. He’d promised to trust you, but trust wasn’t something that came easily to men like him, especially not when concerning someone like Carriedo.
The atmosphere in the cavern had been uncomfortable to say the least. Spaniards had eyed Englishmen with malice and the Brits had returned the favour tenfold. The crewmen who’d stood around the edge however, had been the least of the blond Captain’s worries; it was the group surrounding him in the middle of the grotto that had been his primary concern. A trigger-happy Spaniard, a sharp-tongued Italian, a rowdy Scotsman, a fierce twelve year old, and a woman who was as impulsive as she was beautiful, had all stood before him.
Thinking about it now, it sounded like the start to a particularly longwinded joke, but not one that Arthur was eager to hear the end of.

Ich habe sogar Gott verzundert,
Teufel aus dem Staub getanzt
Trotz all dem staune ich verwundert,
Dass du wieder fliegen kannst.
Der Himmel zerrt an deinen Füßen,
Angst verfeinert dein Gesicht
Und lässt mich für das Gute büßen:
Deine Hand hält meine nicht.
Wie könnte ich dich gehen lassen,
Dafür liebe ich zu sehr.
Wenn deine Leiden jetzt verblassen
Wiegen meine doppelt schwer.
Die Schwingen sind mir abgestorben,
Meine Hände schenkten Trost
Und haben deinen Hals umworben,
Weil du unser Glück bedrohst!
Am Boden halten starke Arme
Deine Flügel fest wie einst.
Erlaubst du, dass ich mich erbarme?
Kümmert es dich, dass du weinst?
