2NE1 and Big Bang’s Taeyang will both come out with new songs this coming November.
YG Entertainment explained the plans of new releases of 2NE1 and Taeyang.
Yang Hyunsuk stated “2NE1 originally planned to release a new album in October but with the world tour, it is very likely for the new release to be in November instead.”
He continued “2NE1 has a recording schedule for this month” and “You will probably get to see 2NE1’s unique new songs this November.”
Yang Hyunsuk stated “In Taeyang’s case, he was originally planned to release a summer solo album and promote it in the summer alongside G-Dragon” and “He finished producing his new album with American producers but he and I were not satisfied with the album so we decided not to release it.”

On November 29th, Black Eyed Peas" will.i.am and apl.de.ap walked the red carpet at the 2011 MAMA ( Mnet Asian Music Awards ).
They revealed, “We feel great participating in such a large event like this. I’ve worked with 2NE1 before and we would like have collaborations with other Asian artists as well. We are planning to have a special performance with 2NE1 today. Please anticipate it.”
They also revealed that they are almost finished with their project album with 2NE1.

Will.i.am's label Interscope Records released a press confirming April 23rd as the release date for #willpower, almost a month’s delay from the reported March 26th date from last week, and a two week delay from will.iam’s own tweet. However, the great news is that Interscope has confirmed that 2NE1 will feature on the album. We finally have official confirmation that our girls will appear on the album.

2NE1 is planning to hold their first world tour, titled “New Evolution.”
On the 13th, YG Entertainment stated : “2NE1 will have their Korean concerts on the 28th and 29th of next month, at the Olympic Gymnastics Stadium. The world tour will then go on to America, Europe, etc., making a total of 7 countries and 10 cities.”
Every song by 2NE1 received much love since their debut in 2009. Last year they were titled “The Best New Band in the World” by MTV IGGY, and they were also selected as the “girl group that hallyu fans like the most” in France.
2NE1 had power and stage presence that is uncommon among girl groups at their first concert last year. The audience sang along to the parade of their hit songs, and this heat was carried on to Japan with 70,000 people. Their Japan tour was a success.
