"Scream of the Butterfly"
His black talons shone in the firelight like beacons to his madness. The sweet scent of fear filled his primal nostrils with a sultry seductiveness unmatched by anything this existence could ever hope to offer. The unsurpassed exhilaration... the perfect harmony of pain and terror... humanity was a symphony, and he was its conductor.
Matagar examined the weeping figure he held pressed to the ground with one massive foot. She was a pathetic sight, indeed. Her black tresses were matted and soaked in her own blood and tears. Her clothing was torn - shredded in some places - from where his talons had raked across her tender flesh. She lay on her stomach, bleeding from too many wounds to count. She had been beautiful, if humans could ever attain true beauty.
Her flesh beckoned him... pleaded for the kill. It was almost overwhelming. The memory of her screams... the taste of terror on her scent. They were inviting, indeed. He wanted so badly to rend her l

"Scream of the Butterfly Pt.2 - 'Conceived'"
She could hear his rasping breath in the darkness. The cavern that had been Celestia's home... her torment these three weeks, seemed confining as ever. She didn't understand how, but Matagar had managed to prolong her bloodletting. What should have ceased in mere days, had dragged on and on, from week to agonizing week. Every morning, he would inspect her. If she was not with child, he would mate with her... rape her - hour after hour... day after day. He did not cease or slow. From sun up to sun down, he would shame her. He slept only a few hours; it was her only reprieve from her humiliation.
In the beginning, she had thought to end her own life while he slept. Somehow, he knew what she'd planned. He always knew. It was as if her mind were an open book to him. That first night, when she'd contemplated suicide, he had appeared in front of her as if from thin air. What came next, she would not soon forget... or forgive.

Chestnuts roasted on a dying fire.
Carbon remains: The lifeless black husks
Still protecting in vain, their charred flesh.
Like an untouched breast, once perfect.
Now wrinkled and reduced to ashes in the fire.
Flames, ethereal claws, crackle high feeding
On the flesh of the scattered demeanors.
Glance through the bamboo window.
The moon stained rains add texture to
The rouge sky; by simile can only be itself.
Clouds, like the smoke of burnt memories
Infiltrate the heavens like clear waves over burning reefs.
Below, a hut made of bamboo, drenched.
Black against the crimson sky, smoke
Enlists with clouds creating the figure
Of lifeless blackened carbon husks,
Thrown to burn, alone in the fire.

Dear deviantART Community,
Expressing thanks to you all seems so little, though words are all I have to offer. People from all around the world, that I've met through this community and become friends with, have offered so much more than tips, tricks, and information about art and photography. There are people from many different countries, with all sorts of belief systems and points of view, that have encouraged me, and through me, my family, during my Dad's sickness. There are many of us on dA who are serious about the art community and our love of art, whether it be photography, drawing, digital art, etc., that reach out to each other in different ways, and are always there to encourage and nudge each other along.
One of my real-life friends often comments about how people and friends through the internet aren't "real" people; how there is an "invisibility" barrier. But, I disagree. I know the internet can be a

"Scream of the Butterfly Pt. 3 - 'Fallen'"
I have never known such solitude. In all my centuries under the light of God, never have I been separated from my siblings for so long a time. For months, I have wandered this wilderness. For months, I have pleaded for them to come, and they do not answer. Every minute that passes brings me closer to darkness - a deep void I can feel growing within me, even now. I do not know how much longer I can remain myself.
Yesterday, I found myself cursing my own existence. Even further than that, I cursed my creator. I do not understand, or accept, what is happening to me; however, I cannot seem to control it. I fear what may be done with me, once I am returned to the celestial city. I know my Lord has felt my darkness.
I was created to serve... nothing more. I am an angel - a messenger of the one true God. It is not my place to question him... I do what I am told, and that is all. Yet, with each passing day, I find it more diff

Lee stared in horror and shock at the body before him.
"Gai... Gai-sensei!" His sensei's body was ripped and torn, blood still flowing out of his wounds.
Lee could feel no heartbeat or breath.
Tears formed in his eyes, and they fell down his face in a silent, quick stream.
"No... NO!" He fell to his knees and let out a long, mortified wail of despair.
Tenten, who had grown up with Gai as almost a father to her, began to sob, and Neji held her, tears leaking out of his white eyes as well.
"We should carry him back," Neji said quietly.
Lee turned around and nodded, barely visibly. He heaved Gai over his shoulder, obviously struggling with the weight of the older man. Neji stepped over and went to help Lee support their fallen sensei's weight, but Lee's glare forced him back.
Lee turned his eyes to the path below him and began to plod back to the village, Neji and Tenten fol
Green Beast part 1- a GaiLeeGai woke up slowly, letting his hazy mind register the fact that he was conscious at its own pace. Not even bothering to open his eyes, he let his thoughts wander between his plans for the day and thankfulness that the nightmares had been few. Still, beneath the warm sun shining in through the window and the peacefulness of the room, it was hard to believe that another full moon would ever come.Green Beast part 1- a GaiLee6 years ago in Fan Fiction More Like This

He was late.
Crap! Without another thought, the Blue Beast of Konoha sprang from his bed, knocking over his useless alarm clock accidentally. His feet pounded against the wood floor as he moved swi

Why are you so different?
You're not who you used to be
And why am I so lonely,
When you're right infront of me?
Something isn't right,
I can see it in your eyes
I'm just trying to find
A truth behind the lies
You act like we're so close
But we couldn't be more far apart
And right now I can't handle
Someone playing with my heart
Tell me that I'm dreaming,
Tell me our love's still strong,
Tell me you're not leaving,
Please tell me that I'm wrong
Tell me that everything
Is going to be just fine
Tell me you love me
And you'll always be mine
Constantly, we're fighting
It gets worse everyday
And I don't want to stay
Just to watch you slip away
I only want to make you smile
But I only make you frown
I just want to make you happy
Seems all I do is bring you down
I've never felt so far away from you
And I need you here so bad
But I feel like we've already lost
Everything we ever had
Please tell me that I'm dreaming,
Tell me our love's still true,
Tell me you're not leaving,
I'd give up anythin

Was kann ich nur tun???
Wieso lebt man, so ist ihr Motto
Ich will nicht leben, sagt sie
Ich habe eh keine Freunde meint sie
Ohne ihren Freund will sie sterben
Sie malt Kreuze und will von mir gehen
Ich bin machtlos
Versuche zu helfen
Was soll ich tun
Sie ist mir viel wert
Wieso kann sie ohne Ihren Freund nicht leben
Ich bin doch noch da
Ihr bester freund
Wieso hört sie nicht auf mich
Ich bin machtlos
Ich habe Angst
Angst jeden Tag
Angst das sie sich das Leben nimmt
Angst mir nicht lebe wohl zu sagen
Angst, dass sie von mir geht
Angst sie zu verlieren
Ich bin machtlos
Sie hat mir erzählt,
was sie grausames erlebt hat
ich höre ihr zu
versuche sie zu verstehen
versuche ihr zu helfen
und die schweren Zeiten durchzustehen
es ist furchtbar, denn
ICH BIN MACHTLOS!!!!

Crawling in my forlorn appearance
I hide my soul behind these tattered wings
Tattered and broken as they are
Plucked of light, stained in tears and blood.
In quiet despair upon the cold earth
Smeared in dirt I crouch upon my weary knees
And clutched timidly between my fingers
Rests one last jewel of Hope.
A single unblemished plume plucked
From the silver light of dawn
A feathered ray of light from beyond
To illuminate the void that has me bound.
This precious barb of silk
Once lost as I was and forgotten
Blazes now to immerse me in radiant bliss
To wash away the pain, draw me from the abyss.
So now I fade away…
My tender flesh removed
My shattered wings released
My inner light unsheathed… escapes.

Scientology As It IsSCIENTOLOGY:Scientology As It Is9 years ago in Free Verse More Like This
The Scientology religion encompasses all life and provides practical solutions to every facet of existence. Its end goal is total spiritual freedom.
More than a system of belief, Scientology is an applied religion that plays a vital role in both the lives of its congregation and the community at large. It brings spiritual enlightenment to man by way of religious practices that advance him to higher states of spiritual ability and understanding, while providing practical solutions to every facet of day-to-day living.
Scientology is a religion in the deepest and most traditional sense, for it is concerned with no less than the full rehabilitation of man's innate spiritual self — his capabilities, his awareness and his certainty of his own immortality — and his relationship to the divine. Scientology holds in common with many of the world's oldest religions the belief that man was put here to work out his own salvation and that only by doing this can he fully understand his r
