The smell of sweat accompanied by jostling bodies and accomplished yells filled the Wonderbolts locker room, familiar to the fiery-maned mare who stood in the center of it all, a wide grin on her face. Seeing her teammates so excited after a successful practice session was one of her favorite parts about being the captain of the Wonderbolts. She knew the feeling of accomplishment that came with pulling off a particularly tough trick or sticking a landing after a daring dive, and she loved when her teammates--- her family--- felt the same joy... Even the more boastful ones.
"...and Fleetfoot totally would have crashed into the bleachers if I hadn't helped steer her toward the field," Tyco, of course--- who else---, pointed out with a smirk. The pale-coated stallion flicked his red and white tail at Fleetfoot's muzzle. "Isn't that right, Fatfoot?"
Fleetfoot snorted, nipping Tyco's tail and provoking a rather high-pitched yelp from the large pony. "Fatfoot? Really?" She rolled her

"Dash? Dash!" Twilight called out, standing on the path below Dash's cloud home. She stamped her hooves in frustration as the silence dragged on. She had been at this for several minutes, and the situation called for a bit more urgency than her friend was showing. Or not showing, as the case may be. So far she hadn't shown up at all.
"Dash, am I going to have to get Fluttershy to go up there?" Twilight asked of the clouds. She finally heard from above, a low groan making its way down to her.
"Alright already." Rainbow Dash complained, rolling onto her front and over to the edge of her cloud home, where she could look down on Twilight. She blinked slowly a couple times at Twilight. "Can't a pony get some shuteye?" she complained.
"It's nearly afternoon Dash!" Twilight retorted. Dash just looked around lazily at the bright day she had somehow slept straight through until now. She gave a yawn.
"And why were you asleep outside?" Twilight asked, her curiosity overcoming her sense
Luna's Day Out Chapter 3Lunch went smoothly, and Luna's praise that she'd have to recommend this place to others had left the host with a nervous happiness. "My apologies, again." Luna said, in all sincerity. "I'll be pulling an all-dayer at this rate, with my night ahead of me!"
"No, no, if I go back to the palace before the sun has set I know my sister will find time to ask me what's wrong, why didn't I enjoy myself... she tries so hard, but I wish she wouldn't sound so much like mother used to." Luna ended with a huff. "Though to be honest I've spent more time amongst ponies today than... well, for significantly more than a thousand years, I'll tell you. I wasn't expecting this bustle, it's enough to wear on one's patience."
"But, what if we went back to Ponyville? It's so much quieter there, and, couldn't you explore there?" Fluttershy offered. Lun

Pinkie Pie picked up the upper half of what had been the giant cupcake on top of Sugar Cube Corner. Small tears half-formed in her eyes. The bakery had been a fixture in her life ever since she came to Ponyville. Its destruction hurt. Her gazed drifted up towards the plot of land the bakery had stood on. Only the foundation remained. She sighed before she caught herself.
"Pinkie," she said, "You cannot afford to sigh. How will you keep everypony's spirits up if you are down in the dumpy-wumpies?" She smiled. It was a smile only on the outside, but that would be enough. She could shed her tears in private later; for now, there was work to do.
The wind was howling. It sounded like a thousand angry spirits venting rage against the world.
Twilight could barely make out the sound of Applejack shouting

"I promised I'd try my best, Luna. It simply isn't going to happen; it's out of my hooves."
"Bah, I should've known." The princess of the moon sulked, staring at her teacup. Across the table from her, her older sister sighed and sipped her tea before continuing. These mornings didn't give them a lot of time to bond, and she felt all the worse when they spent that time fighting. At least alone as they were in Celestia's study Luna could be convinced to speak candidly.
"It's not that I don't want to spend more time with you, you know that." Celestia said gently. Her little sister was having none of it, and she looked up from her tea with a glare.
"It's just that you've got more important things to get to than your own sister." her words were sharp, but Celestia didn't cringe.
"Now Luna, that isn't fair. I think you're overreacting."
"Oh yes, we wouldn't want that to happen." Luna replied, rolling her eyes.
Celestia kept her expression calm. On the inside howeve

In the low lighting, Vinyl Scratch's purple goggles looked black, lifeless. No emotion showed on her face.
"Vinyl..." Twilight began. Dash had curled up again.
"Would you girls excuse us?" Scratch asked, measuring her words carefully.

"Stay." Scratch's voice was commanding but level as she walked slowly around the bed. Dash stopped moving. Vinyl climbed carefully onto the end of the bed, and there she sat.
"You never mentioned Fluttershy." she said. "What's she like?"
"She, uh..." Dash's throat was suddenly dry.
"She a pegasus?" Vinyl prompted. Dash nodded.

"No, no, no, no! You have to angle your wings like this," the rainbow maned pegasus tilted her left wing, overemphasizing the motion. "If you continue to do it that way, you're only going to generate thrust and no lift."
The orange and purple filly nodded enthusiastically. "Oh I see!" She adjusted her wings and continued the short, swift strokes she had been making.
Dash slapped a hoof to her face and groaned. "Kid, you're killing me. Alright let's take a break and I'll try to think of some way to explain this better." She looked out at the sun and judged that it was around five in the evening. She'd been at this task since she finished breakfast; three whole hours and the kid still wasn't flying. She tried to remember how long it had taken her to learn to fly, but she honestly had a hard time remembering a time when she couldn't.

Trixie groaned and stretched as she woke up. Her legs felt like lead. Opening her eyes revealed a familiar ceiling. It was the middle of the night, a half moon providing only just enough light to see by. Trixie wondered if she could go more than a week without passing out anytime soon. She glanced up as if to see her own forehead, and focused for a moment. Sure enough, a pale blue light emanated from her horn.
"Hah hah!" she shouted in excitement. A murmur caught her attention. She looked over and found Fluttershy asleep on her stool, just like a week ago. Trixie smiled and chuckled. She gazed on at Fluttershy for a moment, before a small part of her reminded her of her situation. Her smile turned into a deep frown. She forced herself out of bed on the far side from Fluttershy.
"I've taken enough from you." Trixie whispered. Her horn continued to glow as she enveloped Fluttershy in a magical aura. She gently lifted Fluttershy from her seat and pulled back the covers. She slid

In either case, this self-help article will help you learn how to write an MLP story that will gain attention, and will finally get you a feature on Equestria Daily. Depending on how long winded I am right now, this could be either one part, or several. You'll find out when I do.

#104) Aren't bronies and furries the exact same thing? I think it's funny that so many bronies get offended when they're compared to furries. I don't see furries getting quite as offended about the comparison. Hah.
Answer: This is really the million-dollar question: are bronies and furries the same thing? The answer is, awkwardly, a little bit of both. Let's set the cards upon the table: there are all sorts of variables that come into the equation when defining exactly what a brony is. That's the first difficulty; if a brony is merely an adult watching the show, then you can't effectively argue that they're furries by definition just for doing that. If you did, then any parent watching the show with their child, or anyone who watched "Watership Down" or "The Animals of Farthing Wood" as children, or myriad other cartoons about animals, would be furries, which is ludicrous.
Just watching "Friendship is Magic" doesn't create a latent association with furries, despite what s

Rarity moved forward at a slow and nervous pace; her mind had never raced this much before. She had no idea what to expect, she didn't want to get yelled at and shut out again, but she also couldn't just leave this problem be. This must be solved today. Time seemed to slow as she walked up the narrow path leading to Fluttershy's front door. The time had come; it was time for Rarity to find out what was really going on.
She was about to reach for the door handle, but stopped herself. "It would be rude to just barge in," she thought. "No, I must handle this with dignity, and respect." She then positioned herself to knock on the door, however just as her hoof was about to make contact, she heard something; the most beautiful singing she had ever heard:
Lovely Rarity, I know that you're the one for me
I think you'll see, our love can come to be

Fabric flew through the air as sewing machines buzzed and threads weaved. A white unicorn was hard at work preparing an ensemble for a client. "Work," she said to herself. In the midst of her external monologue, her timer rang.
"Oh dear, is it that time already?"
She swiftly grabbed her robe and galloped out the door to meet a certain yellow Pegasus at Ponyville's spa. It was a small business, as the luxuries of a spa were not affordable to the average pony, but being one of the high class ponies in Ponyville, Rarity could afford to take her and Fluttershy weekly. The words seemed harsh at the time, but Cera knew why Hailey was so guarded. Why wouldn't Hailey be? She was about to become in close contact with a creature from another planet. Who knows what strange things that could happen? Of course Cera knew that nothing would happen. She and Hailey's species were closely related; it's not like she was going to grow five arms and strangle her to death! Goodness no!
The only thing Hailey really had to fear about Cera during the night was that she clung. She would embrace the nearest thing in her vicinity and not let go for the remainder of her sleep. And sometimes she would lightly drool, but that was irrelevant. Cera remembers this little fact about herself because of how she slept back at her palace home. There was this one long, fluffy pillow that was her cling pillow. Oh how soft and smooth it was. She wondered briefly if Hailey would be that soft . . .

Dear Princess Celestia,
This is Spike, writing you about my adventures again. I thought it would be hard to put this big adventure in one letter so I'm sending copies of pages from my diary. I will also add some of Twilight's diary pages so you can see what she was doing. Let's start!
-Evening. Last day of winter-
What is up with Twilight? She seems so excited and nervous at the same time. Oh! Tomorrow is our first Winter Wrap-Up in Ponyville. That's probably why Twilight is checking her checklist again and again. Oh well... I finished my work for today. Time for a good night's rest
I woke Spike up for Winter Wrap-Up. He told me 'you're not mommy' and went back to sleep. He always does that when he dreams about his mother. I know I'm not his mother but I'm the one that raised him for a very long time. Why won't he just understand that...?
-Evening. Winter Wrap-Up Day-
Twilight woke me up this morning. It was way too early and I had just had a dream about my mother. I

"This Twilight Sparkle"
Poem by Picardy Third
I find a familiar tune
A repeated fate plays again
As I walk under cover of the moon
To hear them laugh
To hear them jeer
Like the cries of demons
Painfully reminding me what I fear
I am the Great and Powerful
Oh, what point remains?
I have lost all that I own
Do I even hold true my name?
I turn my head and glance
The horizon dark, shadows high
Barely in sight, a village stands
Under Luna's gem of the sky
By folly act of children
Disaster struck, peril ensued
And from Everfree's forbidden depths emerged
A great beast of midnight blue
My efforts, though valiant
Were but foal's play
Defeated and upstaged by one
Magic powerful and bright as day
This unicorn, this hero
This ray of hope, this Twilight
Left me homeless, left me broken
Running scared into the night
But as my hooves tire
As my body aches
I know I cannot run any longer
I must do what it takes
Courage in tow
A hastened, furious pace
With fervor I return
Allegrezza - Part Seven+Vinyl snuck the tip of her hoof under the record, flicking it so that the record somersaulted up into the air, before catching it with her teeth. She bowed and thanked her audience, before revealing her iridescent grin to Octavia. Octavia was loathe to admit it, but Vinyl had thrived without the aid of her horn. Though she had to give Vinyl her due, she was glad the show had went without any catastrophic failures that would culminate in the mob storming the stage. "There you go, Mr. Badger. You make sure you stay off that paw now." Fluttershy told the small critter in front of her, one hoof holding up a bandaged paw while the other carefully stroked it's back. The badger gave a grumpy growl in response.
"Now now, it was her vegetable garden after all. If you're ever hungry, come see me, okay?" Fluttershy responded, patient as ever. She gave the badger back his paw and the creature wandered off. Fluttershy smiled and looked around. Today was just a perfect day in her mind. The sun had warmed the hill she sat on, making it all the more comfortable as she tended to the creatures that came to her for aid. She preferred to tend to them in her hut, where she could thoroughly clean and care for any wound or problem, but many wild animals weren't all that comfortable indoors, and she did her best to accommodate them.
However, her next visitor was no small critter. A cloaked figure emerged from the Everfree forest, turning to Fluttershy once sh

CielXReader- Chapter 17A certain red haired reaper leaned over a corpse, humming a song that none would know. The beat was quite slow as he lifted up the dead person's arm and let it drop lifelessly to the ground. It made a slapping sound of distinction, the precise sound of skin on concrete. Vinyl mused over the comment as the pair trotted towards the performance hall. It was just visible in the distance, exactly the sort of thing Victorian-era ponies thought would look cool. To Vinyl, it just looked old. She couldn't help but remember the jumpers her grandmare would knit for her as a filly, and she'd have to wear, begrudgingly. She stopped her daydreaming, turning back to Octavia.
"And you don't have any friends who would...y'know, actually like this kinda music?"
Octavia didn't meet her gaze, but she saw her eyes track everywhere from the floor to awkwardly pointing away to her right. Anywhere but a place where she'd meet Vinyl's own gaze.

Alois stood on his balcony edge leaning his purple clothed arms on the white, furnished wood. He gazed out across the many acres of his manor. The garden, which was being tended now, was far bigger than necessary. His front yard was empty, the cobblestones for carriages freshly swept of all lingering snow. Little flakes drifted from the sky, but they were not strong. They melted seconds before even getting a chance to meet with the ground. The blonde sighed, twirling one of his golden locks.
A butterfly, specifically one of the rarest in the world, flitted through the sky in a series of circles. Alois recognized the type immediately from the creature's wings.
