"Come with me?" he asked, desperation showing in his clear blue eyes. Pocahontas turned to look at her father.
"You must choose your own path," Powhatan told his daughter with a warm and steady gaze. Pocahontas looked at her people, then at the settlers. Finally, her eyes came back to John Smith.
"I'm needed here," she said, tears forming in her eyes.
"Then," John said, his voice wavering, "I'll stay with you."
"No! You have to go back!" Pocahontas cried.
"But I can't leave you," John said, feeling pain worse than any gunshot.
"You might not have to," Lon said, coming forward. "I know a little about bullet wounds, as do some of the men. I'm sure with our knowledge, and their healer," he nodded to Kekata, "we could probably fix you up." Pocahontas looked around hopefully. Some settlers were nodding their heads and Kekata was deep in thought, already thinking of remedies. "What do you say?"
"Well, there's no question to it, if you really can heal me

"Yes or No"
That day, Cloud took the day off so he could catch up and spend some quality time with Tifa and the children. He also wanted to help around the bar.
While he was in there, he sat on one of the barstools to keep an eye on Tifa, just in case some of the drunks wanted to try their luck with her. Fortunately, the day turned out pretty well and he didn't have to throw anyone out of the bar.
A few hours later, Tifa closed the bar and then proceeded to clean up the mess. Since Cloud wasn't doing anything in particular, he offered to clean up the galley, while she took care of the dishes. Tifa couldn't believe how handy it was to ha

That morning, I was preparing myself to leave for Condor Fortress. They offered me a temporary job and I was going to be out for a couple of days. I didn't tell Tifa what kind of job it was, because I knew that she wouldn't approve; and besides, I didn't want her to get worried.
I said goodbye to the children and Tifa. It was really hard for me to leave them like that, so they all gave me something for the trip.
Marlene gave me a drawing with all of us in it. Even Yuffie was in it, but I didn't complain because as much as I hate to admit it, she's been really helpful around the kids and Tifa.
Denzel gave me a small feather. He said it was for good luck. Though, I found it ironic that he gave me a Chocobo feather instead of a Phoenix Down.
Tifa gave me a kiss on the cheek, which made me blush like an idiot. Marlene found it hilarious and Denzel thought it was disgusting. I bet he won't find it disgusting when he starts to like girls.
Anyway, I took off after that and

That morning, I got up very early and took a quick shower to start fresh the day.
As usual, I went to the children's room to wake them up and then headed to the kitchen to make some breakfast.
After the breakfast, I put the dishes in the sink and went upstairs to help the children to get ready for school. Denzel was old enough to prepare himself for school, so I helped Marlene instead.
After I said goodbye to the children, I headed back inside to start to do the housework.
It was a lovely day in Seventh Heaven and for some reason I was in a very good mood, so I took the day off and went to make a few errands before opening the bar.
It was almost time to open the bar, so I speeded up on Fenrir to get there on time. I was so eager to see their faces when they realized that I was back. I specially wanted to surprise Tifa, but I knew I had to be cautious, so I stopped a few blocks away and pushed Fenrir all the way to the bar.

After hearing the bell, Denzel gathered his things and headed home to 7th Heaven.
Along the way, he met a group of children, some kids a little bigger than him. Denzel ignored them and tried to walk past them until one of the children stepped in his way, forcing Denzel to stop. The other three children began to gather around him and Denzel tried to escape; running as fast as he can. When he reached a corner, his foot stumbled against a curb and fell to ground. After the celebration, Barret and the rest of the gang left the bar and went back to their lives.
The children had fallen asleep on one of the couches and Tifa took them upstairs along with Cloud to put them in their beds. Once they were in their rightful beds, Tifa stayed with them for a while watching to their sleep, while Cloud went downstairs to help her clean the bar.
A few minutes later, she came downstairs and saw him putting the bar stools on the counter like she always does. A smile crossed her lips when she saw him so focused on what he was doing that he didn't even noticed her presence.
Once he was done lifting all the barstools, he gazed in her direction a little surprised. She narrowed her eyes tenderly and smiled at him. He also gave her a slight smirk and nodded. The silence surrounded them for a moment until Tifa broke the ice.

Cloud was having a nightmare in the middle of the night, when suddenly, Tifa went to his room to see what was wrong with him.
Cloud was fighting in his sleep and Tifa does her best to wake him, but as much as she tried she couldn't. The dream was too deep and the more he struggled, the more intense the nightmare became. The dream was tormenting him and he growled in anguish as his breathing became increasingly agitated.
It is said that when a dream is too intense, it's better to let the person who is dreaming to wake up slowly, otherwise the dreamer will not be able to distinguish reality and could cause a severe trauma.
Tifa felt helpless for not being able to help and stayed with him until he could calm down. Cloud on the other hand, was still fighting in his sleep and Tifa tried to reassure him stroking his face with her hands.

Every time I see her, I cringe. Look at her - the dark shadows beneath her eyes, the slumped shoulders, the half-empty gaze that stares back at me. She's disgusting. She's a monster.
But is she real? Am I real?
I don't know.
Maybe she's the real one and the reason she looks the way she does is because she always sees me and is terrified that something horrible will happen. Maybe I'm the real one and I'm terrified that she's going to let that something occur.
Or maybe we're just the same person and I'm letting my thoughts become too unraveled. There's no such thing as another side to a mirror. It's just a piece of glass that reflects that which is in front of its surface. But then again, what do I know? Not much, if I'm being completely honest.
There are times where I'll pass my reflection and stop, stare at her, and the urge to do nothing more but take her hand and say I'm sorry. I'm sorry for everything I've said t
