Posies Part 1
A simple song sent him spiraling back to a time where he thought Europe had no hope. Rats ran through the streets carrying a deadly disease as children were making dying wishes.
His shaggy blond hair was unkempt and hidden under a mask. The nose of the mask was filled to the brim with posies that numbed his sense of smell. His emerald eyes were dull as he watched the people around him begin to perish.
He wished he could make his people better as a lone tear ran down his cheek.
"Sir?" a little girl coughed out with a lisp. Her own British accent was tinted with despair. "Have you seen my mummy?"
`His heart broke and he tried hard not to break down. "N-No I haven't...I'm terribly sorry."
The little girl's face looked crestfallen as she nodded. Her (e/c) eyes were glistening with fresh tears and her (h/c) hair fell in front of her face. Her now shaking little hands clung tightly to her tattered gown.

“Arthur, could you please tell me where put those damn sunglasses?” [Name] sighed, tired of searching through her huge bag.
“I... I think they're in that pocket, right there, along with the white dress,” the boy next to her replied, tucking a couple of jackets into another of her bags.
“Oh yes, you're right,” she smiled. “Thank you for helping me, by the way!”
“I already told you this was the last thing I wanted to do today, I'm only helping you because I don't want to feel guilty.”
“Hehe, I know” she chuckled.
But you don't know why I didn't want to help you... Arthur thought with a sigh. And knowing me, you never will.

Nights like these always make me think of her. The stars shining brightly against the navy blue sky. Standing on my balcony, much like I am now.
But she's no longer here to point out the current constellations, or to stare at the moon in admiration. Her life was ripped away from her, and I was not there to help her.
It was last year, roughly around mid December, and she was traveling home from work. She never drove in this type of frosty weather, so she would usually walk.
But she had never returned home. I merely thought she had made her way over to a friend's house, but I was far from right.
I found out the next day that she was the victim in a car accident. The driver was not only drunk but also travelling across the icy bridge and ended up pressing her into the guard rails. This in turn shattered her ribs and destroyed everything in her body.
There would have been no way to save her.

"A mental illness can impede on a person's ability to function. In this case they resort to copying the behaviour shown around them. They will try to mimic it perfectly, making sure to cross all their 't's and dot all their 'i's.
However there is a down side to this. A person may begin to feel numb or unsatisfied with their work. In the case of an anxiety disorder they may feel like the world is out to get them. They also may feel like they're not doing something correct, thus making them feel like all eyes are on them. Also, they may feel like they are not their own being, that they are a mere copy of those around them. This may enrage some, but it also may scare others.

The room wavered as the lights danced on the walls. The music beat against The blonde's ears as he made his way deeper into the sea of people. The people felt like they were closing in, swallowing him in their rhythmic dancing and pulsing auras.
It was a different experience for Arthur, being in the thick of the crowd. When Alfred or Francis even managed to get him into a place like this he usually stuck to the outskirts of the dance floor, he preferred his space out there. Often times he kept to the shadows, standing along the walls. There it was secluded, and quiet (despite the raring music) and he could actually think there. Besides, most of the tables stood alone, away from the crowd, making for an easy escape when he got bored. Tonight, however, was different. He had caught a glimpse of something. He had seen something that he hadn't expected to ever see there, something that had become the

Sighing once again, the blonde pinched the bridge of his nose in disgust as people forgot their manners – calling at 3 in the morning proved lack of education, but the Brit washed it off, trying his best not to overreact – before actually picking up the phone.
