I don't fave watermarks.I’ve harped on about this before and I’m going to do it again…..and again and again…..until people stop doing it.I don't fave watermarks.10 months ago in Personal More Like This
I do not fave pictures that have watermarks right across them.
This isn’t me being monumentally arrogant and thinking that I alone faving a piece of work bestows upon it some kind of greatness. This is just me having an artistic eye.
If you’ve slaved to create the most astounding piece of work to have ever graced the galleries of deviantart, something that puts all your peers to shame and will remain a benchmark that others aim to match for years to come…..and then across the middle of it you decide to slap a watermark that you spent 5 minutes farting out: you just f**ked up your artwork. You have added something that detracts from my enjoyment of the piece and I’m not going to fave it.
There are a number of brilliant artists out there who I’m on the verge of unfollowing, simply because it irks me so much to see a
All art, no payI just had a discussion with an aspiring writer and manga artist at the convention last week. He told me he has good ideas for a story he's writing, but as he's terrible at drawing, he needed a manga artists to draw the actual manga for him. As he seemed to be pretty serious about it, he tried already to make contact with several artists. But as he doesn't earn money (because... hey... there's no manga yet) he didn't actually pay an artist for the work. As a result, most of the artist gave up after a few pages. Either that, or the art quality was (in his eyes) not good enough. All art, no pay2 years ago in Personal More Like This
As a teacher for the mangaschool organisation, I see a lot of this kind of people. More than I'd like to, actually. This guy was a case book example of the young, aspiring, wannabe manga writer that doesn't understand that you have to invest in something, before you can actually get something from it. Especially when it comes to art.
He kept on ranting about how people didn't draw stuff for them, or how the
Power BreakdownOH MY GOSH YOU GUYS. He's just AMAZING.Power Breakdown2 years ago in Personal More Like This
:iconcalculatus: This guy decided to make a breakdown of abilities of Blaze and Penn for me and there are some crazy stuff here!
Check it out!!!))
You gave us a few of Blaze's and Penn's abilities in the past but I decided that it wasn't good enough for me, so I fleshed their powers out some more by taking their skills and physical and spiritual properties of fire into account.
·Fire flows in his blood, making him immune to all foreign contaminants such as poison and disease.
o This would lead to regenerative healing factor since the flames would be constantly cauterizing his wounds. This is kind of like how phoenixes heal themselves.
Fire elementals are abnormally strong since fire spiritually represents strength.
·He holds a symbiotic bond with fire, and can emit* it from his body through fire breath, explosions, flame armor, rocket-propelle

Game artists from around the world are uniting to create an art book to support Kevin Griffith's (CowAndCheese) battle with terminal lung cancer.
Kevin Griffith is a senior artist on the Diablo 3 team at Blizzard and has been fighting a rare and ruthless form of cancer known as Alveolar Soft Part Sarcoma (ASPS).
The art book will feature original fan art from Kevin's favourite games and everything about this project screams deviantART to me! We have a ridiculously talented community of artists and I'm calling on YOU to put your skills to work for an amazing cause.
All proceeds from the campaign will be donated to cover medical costs for

best ways to keep up with me!so i recently realized i like twitter.best ways to keep up with me!9 months ago in Personal More Like This
i like it for the fact that it keeps all the updates under notices. it's limit of size for messages helps us all keep our questions and thoughts concise, and it's easy to follow up on stuff
so, if you want a quick and easy way to ask questions, and keep updated add me
@stjepansejic on twitter
you can also add me on facebook , but that thing is a mess
i would like to reply all the questions here, but with the sheer amount of works, and galleries and notes it is getting really hard to follow up on things.
so it is an easy way to get any answers you may be after.
now, as for chapter 5, i will start it off in march, but it won't go full speed before mid april. by that point i will have cleared all the previously accepted projects and past that point i won't be taking on more work for hire stuff because... well, your support made it possible to actually focus
Maniac has responded with a scornful remark. The script for the comic this person is referring to was written months before the material they’re claiming I ripped off was posted here on DA. I’m rather irked that anyone would think that, after all this time, I would actually plagiarise anything. Parody for the sake of comedy, sure, but not flat-out copy.
Let me tell you what I know: the creative process grants you access to infinite possibilities. As such, I have never, ever felt the need to copy someone’s work. If I am aware of something that exists, I veer away from it. Partly because it would just feel wrong to steal someone else’s ideas, but mostly because….it’s boring! I get a kick out of devising new things. It’s one of the most enjoyable and satisfying endeavours you can pursue.

Well, things are being pushed back a bit for two reasons:
1. I'm being told I need MORE responses from fans to add to the book, so please spread the word and if you haven't sent me yours yet, please do so.
2. As I am self publishing, I need to purchase the ISBN ($100) to get the ball rolling and get the book available globally through Amazon.com and Barns n Noble.com, as well as in a registry for brick-and-mortar stores to pick up my book and sell it. So it's going to take a little time to pull the funds together.
The book itself is finished, save for more responses from fans. Once I have what I need and the book is in publication, I will post a photo of the book itself with links to where you can purchase it. All moneys earned from the sale of this book will go towards publishing future novels and other books.
The idea has evolved into a project I wish to do for TF fans world wide. Even my 62 year old mother got in on it and I introduced

Old TF drawing dumpHey so...I'm a bit busy these days in school...with art classes, for you see I need to draw a final art project , which will be a comic...an original comic so I won't post it here (since I'm pretty sure no one here cares about my OCs XD) so um yeah, until that comic is done I can't really draw much else -w-Old TF drawing dump4 years ago in Personal More Like This

Making an animated short thingy for my final animation project, it should be done in about a month.
It features Transformers Animated Bumblebee and Prowl. Will be uploading a WIP to youtube hopefully by the end of the week. Keep in mind when you are watching that I'm quite new to animating scenes, and I have a limited amount of time to work with, so there will be amateur-ish mistakes and inconsistencies...
understand a painting study dont just copyThis is purely an observation from my point of view but whenever i see a study or painting based on a masterpiece or a screen plate. The results are almost in every case very good.So this tells me that our ability to copy is quite good and its not really required to be a high level artist.Junior level to mid level ones can pull this off easily too. Everything you need to know is already in the image we are trying to copy so it becomes a recipe for us.understand a painting study dont just copy3 years ago in Personal More Like This
the important thing though is to not "copy" it but to understand it and deconstruct a work method from it.And if you understand that then the work based from your own mind will be alot better.
When i see this kind of work , for me its not the level of detail and accurcy that one puts in the copied artwork that impresses me, but the images based on that learned knowledge afterwards. And to tell you the truth not many people understand this knowledge or are aware of how important it is to understand it.But the interesting phenomenon is that

Auctioning My Character With MANY Extras! So I'm selling this guy:Auctioning My Character With MANY Extras!2 years ago in Deviant Events More Like This
I won't draw it anymore, I guess I just ended up getting bored of it. And many other people seems to really like it so I thought I should just sell it to someone else. And I really need to raise some money for a new computer ;n; mine is really old and slow and could just break at any time.
With the character you will also have the right to use the stuff I commissioned from other peoples + gifts I received of this character!(I won't need it anymore anyway)
.:Gift Kawiko:. by MiruThunderCat
I can't really choose or decide a price...
So I will simply leave it to the best offer after a few days. if I get any decent offer.
Please, keep in mind that it's still a bit hard for me to be selling my character and I probably won't

"Never Be Ashamed"
I couldn't help myself. The moment I saw a name placard for "Steven Blum" my nostalgia and long-standing love of all things LucasArts Adventure Games flung my body into auto-pilot and directed me to that booth. In front of him were posters and lithographs of various characters from recent anime recently localized into English, but I inadvertently dumped his mind back into the 90's when I lost all decorum and totally fangasm'd over his role voicing Ludger Brink in The Dig.
"Wow," Steven reeled at my impulsive outburst. "That was...so long ago."
It was spring 2010, just one week before my transfer to the biggest AAA project in our publisher's history. I was at the Wizard World comic convention in Anaheim California. I knew there was going to be celebrity, but not the rockstars that defined my youth. Being a c
